Takes a lot of torque to get those big wheels to spin-out from a cold start in the dirt like that. Also that must be some sort of custom transmission with wonky gear ratios to get this all to work together like that.
i really love all the technology and shit that goes into cars and does crazy efficiently and whatnot, but whenever i see stuff like this i fucking love it. all the engine components and shit are easily accessible to the point that this guy was able to manage this feat. fuckin sweet!

How is this engineering porn? Shade tree mechanic porn, maybe. In no way is a tractor drive train suitable for this application. Rapid unplanned disassembly is inevitable.
Never in my life did I think I'd see a tractor doing a burnout on asphalt. But there it was.
I would really like to know what he did with the steering. I've held the clutch in on a big hill on a tractor before. The steering is very loose and scary at even 35 mph.
This is cool and I've never seen this before. I'm just amazed at how stable this is during those turns.
