Train Vs Tram | Which is the fastest to Manchester Piccadilly?

[Music] hey everyone G loves trains here I'm just outside of Manchester Victoria Station and I'm joined by where is she did you get my coffee Jen on the Move we've just come from racing from Ashton to Manchester over on Jen's Channel and we are now about to attempt another race from Victoria to Piccadilly all right I've drawn the Short Straw on the video Choice here I can say confidently before we've even set off I am going to win this not a chance I mean I am undefeated I should just crack on oh and loser buys the other one an item from the little Sainsbury's no no no no no no no no let's go all right that same was catch you're in my head hang on where am I going the specials that way [Music] I'm feeling confident about this one I'm just following me this is awkward but he won it's not like you're trying to schedule time or anything foreign barrier then it's on platform free for my train which is literally right there [Music] okay when's the next Piccadilly tram East Didsbury East Didsbury no Piccadilly Club my train has actually already pulled in just thinking which is the best bit for me to get on I'll just get down this end I'm catching the 11 40 service which is running on time it is a tpe class 185 of course he's dead Greek that's no use to me G is probably getting on the train right now just departed Victoria the train is really busy I did used to catch the service a lot actually back in the day but now when I come to Manchester and I change from Victor Pig I OverWatch or get the truck whichever seems to be quickest at the time oh Piccadilly one minute I need this time to leave foreign I'm feeling positive my tram is here waiting it's waiting to pull in [Music] I think I'm leaving exactly the same time as G's trainers this is going to be close we're both due to take about this same amount of time wouldn't it be funny if we both came up the escalators at the same time okay so my biggest worry was having a longer wait for a time at Victoria but that was quite quick I mean with a chance here [Music] we're just going over the old Zone called and TPA are the only Toc that run this roads gives a bit of a shame it would be nice to see some Northern trains going across here [Music] do not need the tram to be stuck in the bed lights this could throw everything away here okay we're moving between Sweden Hill and Market Street [Music] the next stop will the Piccadilly Gardens between Market Street and Piccadilly Gardens right now which I think is like the closest distance between two stops in the network you can definitely walk as fast as foreign has got quite a few more stops than I have and I have said to Jen as well that she has to all the way to Piccadilly on the tram and she is not allowed to get off at pink Gardens I've been given very strict instructions to not walk from secondary Gardens [Music] logically she must be not far off Piccadilly now this one is going to be so close I might have to run and I don't work just making our way through the beautiful scenery of Manchester it's a lot of buildings I do actually read comfy I love the color scheme and usually I would go and immediately grab myself a table salt always a slow fall into Piccadilly station and take a long time and the Piccadilly now about to get off the tram not Piccadilly now I've just got oh you know what I don't feel rushed at all it was a nine minute Journey here on the train Jen's got more like a 20 minute ride on the tram honestly I am going to be at those bollards way before she I'm at the front of the tram I'm at the one end of the tram okay let's walk that's all you're getting from me this is my favorite thing to do at Manchester Piccadilly I always run down these travel ages I think I am the first one to Piccadilly so how long do I wait for her to show up okay my pants just slightly fell down doing that so I'm half expecting her to be like hiding somewhere and just jump out in a minute I've been here all along okay well I didn't see Jen coming up the escalator I'm thinking she's still out on the tram come on Jimmy where are you not to be joking man how the hell does she actually do that I've been here for about 40 minutes well that's impossible how long have we actually been here about three four minutes no you've how have you done that it's amazing I've gotten the time the whole way no have you actually been on the truck or what the whole way I am Schultz right here you go winner enjoy your coffee three two one boobies so most of my surprise it turns out a is faster than a train I am mind-boggled seriously how did that happen it's because I was on the track and I just made it super fast right now that race is over should we have another one oh no more yes let's move to Canada see you at Canada yeah thank you very much for watching everyone [Music]
