RIGHT. GREAT INFORMATION. THERE ALSO GREAT INFORMATION FROM RANDI RICO BECAUSE YOU'VE BEEN TRACKING THIS LINE OF STORMS. THIS IS ACTUALLY GOING THROUGH WHAT BUTLER COUNTY RIGHT NOW. RIGHT NOW BUTLER COUNTY IS GETTING THE WORST OF IT AT THE MOMENT. NOW WE HAVE THE TORNADO WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH 6 A.M. WE ARE WATCHING THIS COLD FRONT PUSH THROUGH RIGHT NOW AND OUT AHEAD OF THAT. YOU'RE SEEING WINDS GUSTING 4050 MILES AN HOUR. POTENTIAL FOR SOME PEA SIZE HAIL. SO LET'S GET RIGHT TO THAT RADAR SO YOU CAN SEE THE STORMS AS THEY ARE ROLLING IN. SO THAT RED TONE ALL ACROSS THE AREA IS THE TORNADO WATCH THAT GOES THROUGH 6 A.M., BUT AS WE TAKE A LOOK AT THE RADAR RIGHT NOW WITH THAT COLD FRONT COMING THROUGH BUTLER COUNTY RIGHT NOW, SEEING THE MOST INTENSE DOWNPOURS, AND THEY'RE ROLLING RIGHT IN TOWARD HAMILTON AS WE SPEAK. SO CURRENTLY, BUTLER COUNTY, ANYWHERE FROM MIDDLETOWN AND TRENTON IN THROUGH HAMILTON, MILLVILLE SEEING THAT LEADING EDGE OF THE COLD FRONT. SO I WANT TO SHOW YOU WHERE IT'S HEADED RIGHT NOW AS THIS LITTLE CELL OF HEAVIER RAIN AND MAYBE SOME HAIL WITH IT RIGHT NOW FROM NEW MIAMI TO HAMILTON, IT IS MOVING TO THE EAST AT ABOUT 50 TO 60MPH, WHICH MEANS IT'S BASICALLY ROLLING IN TOWARD AREAS NEAR THE MONROE OUTLETS. LIBERTY CENTER HERE. AND ABOUT THE NEXT FIVE MINUTES OR SO, LEBANON, JUST BEFORE THE TOP OF THE HOUR. IF YOU'RE IN MASON, ALSO, JUST BEFORE 5 A.M., THIS STORM WILL BE AT YOUR DOORSTEP. SO IT REALLY IS KIND OF RACING TO THE EAST HERE. SO LET'S TAKE A CLOSER DIVE AT WHAT'S HAPPENING. TAKE A LOOK AT THE RAINFALL RATE. OKAY, SO THE RAINFALL RATES A LITTLE BIT DELAYED FROM WHERE THE LEADING EDGE OF THAT HEAVY RAIN IS RIGHT NOW. BUT YOU CAN SEE THIS AREA OF PURPLE INDICATES WHERE THIS TO SIT ON TOP OF YOUR TOWN FOR AN HOUR, YOU WOULD PROBABLY GET 4 TO 5IN OF RAIN. OBVIOUSLY IT DOESN'T LAST THAT LONG HERE. IT'S KIND OF IN AND OUT, BUT A VERY QUICK, INTENSE DOWNPOUR THAT RIGHT NOW IS ROLLING THROUGH THE HAMILTON AREA ALONG WITH SOME GUSTY WINDS AND RIGHT ALONG THAT LEADING EDGE, YOU'RE LOOKING AT WINDS ANYWHERE FROM MAYBE 30 TO POSSIBLY GUSTING TO ABOUT 50MPH. SO SOME STRONG WINDS, TORRENTIAL DOWNPOUR, WARS WITH THIS AS IT PASSES THROUGH, AND MAYBE SOME PEA SIZE HAIL AS WE SLIDE A LITTLE BIT FURTHER BACK TOWARD THE STATE LINE, HERE'S OCEANA AND THEN HERE'S HARRISON HARRISON SEEING THE WINDS PICK UP THE RAIN JUST PICKING UP IN INTENSITY. BUT YOU'RE REALLY GOING TO NOTICE THAT RAIN START TO COME DOWN HEAVIER HERE IN THE NEXT. OH, FIVE, TEN MINUTES OR SO AND THEN THEN BACK ALONG 70 FOR AREAS LIKE SUNMAN, SEEING INTENSE DOWNPOURS DOWN IN THROUGH DELAWARE ALL THE WAY IN THROUGH AREAS OF SOUTHERN RIPLEY COUNTY THERE. SO ON A WIDE VIEW, WE HAVE HAD A SEVERE WARNINGS ALONG THIS LINE OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF HOURS, AND THE TORNADO WATCH BOX HAS ACTUALLY BEEN EXTENDED NOW IN THROUGH MUCH OF KENTUCKY, AS THIS LINE WILL CONTINUE TO PROGRESS THROUGH OUR AREA AND CONTINUE TO THE SOUTH. NOW, LOOKING BACK, WE'RE IN THE 60S RIGHT NOW. IT'S COLD ENOUGH FOR SNOW IN ILLINOIS. MUCH COLDER AIR IS RACING IN OUR DIRECTION. YOU CAN SEE THE DIFFERENCE. YELLOWS 60 TO 70 DEGREES, MUCH DIFFERENT. JUST OUTSIDE OF INDY. OUR TEMPERATURES ARE GOING TO TANK HERE AS WE GO THROUGH THE DAY. RIGHT NOW, MOST PLACES 69 DEGREES CURRENTLY IN CINCINNATI, 71. IN HAMILTON YOU CAN KNOCK AT LEAST 30 DEGREES OFF OF THOSE TEMPERATURES BY THE TIME WE GET TO LUNCHTIME TODAY. SO THIS COLD FRONT PACKS A PUNCH. BOTH WITH THE SYSTEM IT'S ROLLING IN WITH THE HEAVY RAIN, THE HAIL, THE WIND AND THE LIGHTNING. RIGHT NOW, WINDS. THESE ARE SUSTAINED WINDS ANYWHERE FROM 20 TO MAYBE 30 MILES AN HOUR. OUR GUSTS ARE GOING TO BE POSSIBLE IN THE 30 TO 40 MILE AN HOUR RANGE HERE. AS WE GO INTO THE AFTERNOON. SO LET'S GET YOU THROUGH THE FUTURECAST THIS MORNING, TRACKING THAT COLD FRONT AS IT ROLLS THROUGH THE AREA. YOU CAN SEE BY 6 A.M. THAT LINE MAKING ITS WAY THROUGH DOWNTOWN. AND BY THE TIME WE GET TO 7 A.M., I THINK THE COLD FRONT ITSELF HAS PASSED US BY. NOW, THERE WILL STILL BE SOME LINGERING SHOWERS THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF THE MORNING, BUT OUR TRUE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT SHOULD FADE AS THAT FRONT PASSES BY AROUND 6 A.M. ONCE WE GET TO THE MIDDLE OF THE MORNING. STILL SOME STRAGGLER SHOWERS. STILL SOME BREEZY CONDITIONS AND OUR TEMPERATURES ARE FALLING. SO MUCH SO THAT YOU MIGHT SEE A STRAY FLURRY O OUT THERE AS WE T CLOSER TO NOON, OUR TEMPERATURES, THOUGH, ARE THE BIG STORY HERE. ONCE WE GET TO LUNCHTIME, WE'RE INTO THE UPPER 30S AND BY THE MID AFTERNOON, STRONG WINDS SLIDING THROUGH THE 30S. THAT PUTS US DOWN CLOSE TO FREEZING. BY ABOUT 7 P.M. TONIGHT. SO RIGHT NOW IT IS 69 DEGREES. OUR SUSTAINED WINDS ARE 25 MILES AN HOUR. WE'VE HAD GUSTS HERE IN THE 40 MILE AN HOUR RANGE. SO VERY STRONG WINDS EVEN AWAY FROM THE THUNDERSTORMS. THIS MORNING. TAKING YOU THROUGH THE 12 HOUR FORECACAST, I PUT THAT WEATHER IMPACT SYMBOL IN HERE FOR THE MORNING RUSH. WE DROP INTO THE 50S BY 8 A.M., INTO THE 30S BY NOON, AND THEN WE STAY IN THE 30S WITH STRONG WINDS THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. SO QUITE THE. CHANGE COMING FOR US OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS. DEALING WITH THE STRONG STORMS HERE FOR THE MORNING RUSH WILL TRACK THEM FOR YOU HERE FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS. WE DROP ALL THE WAY DOWN TO 19 DEGREES FOR THE LOW TONIGHT, 44 TOMORROW. GOOD NEWS. IS THE COLD SNAP DOES NOT LAST LONG. OUR TEMPERATURES ARE BACK INTO TH
