Touring a £12,500,000 Modern Duplex Apartment with Stunning Interior Design | Mayfair, London

[Music] [Applause] [Music] hey everyone welcome to another video today you join me in central Mayfair moments away from Berkeley square and Hyde Park I'm on my way to Charles Street to show you an incredible three-bedroom three-bathroom apartment that's priced at twelve and a half million pounds it's recently been fully renovated interior designed by Taylor house it is one of a kind I can't wait to show you inside [Music] thank you okay we're just coming on to Charles Street now which as mentioned is one of the most prestigious locations within Mayfair the property is 100 yards or so up that way can't wait to show you let's go check it out [Music] welcome inside so here we are in the entrance check out this incredible chandelier above me then we have natural marble flooring here this is a Petra stone with a natural gray border around it firstly I'm going to show you into the study one of my favorite rooms now you'll see through here it has such a traditional feel it's very elegant now as we move throughout the rest of the apartment it will start to become more contemporary I really like this space I mean check out this desk as a place to just sit and work very Regal we have the Chesney black marble fireplace there in the color Nero and then something you'll see throughout is European Oak now we have three different styles so in here is basket weave and let me know what you think in the comments to this design I'm personally a fan I think it's my favorite of the European Oak throughout yeah I love this floor beautiful now I'm going to take you back through into the entrance hall to my right is The Powder Room the same marble flooring continues through there then we have Samuel Heath Cemetery wear I'm going to direct you guys to the home dashboard here on the monitor so this is a Crestron system it's a home automation so you can control all of your lighting simply via this touchpad or you can even get out your phone and do it all via the app so what I love particularly about this feature is the control of different scenes so you can have all lights on like we have today or if it's the evening you want to be a bit more ambient you can hit Scene Three and the lights will gradually dim they're very elegant now let's move into the formal living room through these incredible black Critter doors [Music] now the formal living room another one of my favorite spaces it's absolutely incredible in here so the interior design is by Taylor house so everything you see in this apartment is included in purchase price and all of the products here all the furniture that you can see is bespoke and tailored and made for this apartment and many of it by British designers as well which is always nice to see now ceiling Heights in here we have 3.4 meters with really elegant cornice detailing now we have a Sonos sound system as well wired throughout the house and I love that you can use your app you can control your lighting control your audio feels very very elegant another Chesney fireplace here this one again a white marble with lilac tones coming in through there and when this fireplace is on it is beautiful in here so we talked about the European oak flooring now in this formal living room it's actually in a chevron pattern so have a look you can check it out here and compare whether you prefer the basket weave or Chevron I mean just by the fact that it changes and you have a variety throughout the space I think is a really nice touch and then finally in this room if we come over to this side we have the balcony doors again that beautiful black critical glass now this extends onto the balcony which overlooks your courtyard another feature that I can't wait to show you let's carry on the tour [Music] moving into the double height Gallery Landing now I want to talk about this space for a moment before we carry on we have the feature balustrades here and this whole entire walkway has the feel that it floats and that was a really important you know element of design from the developers we have the black Critter Windows over here but there is a gap there is some distance between the balustrade between the walkway and the windows and that allows one so much natural light to come in but that also allows you to get the real feel of the double height of this space again this apartment is over the ground floor which we're on now and the lower ground floor but throughout one thing you notice is it's so bright now to my right here is another one of the focal points for the apartment and incredible bespoke fitted bookcase and just take a look at some of the pieces on there the design absolutely amazing now again European oak flooring we talked about a couple of times now if you look down this has now gone to a straight plank pattern so we have the three the basket weave the Chevron and the straight plank now let me take you into a formal dining room [Music] now here we have a 10 seater table an incredible feature chandelier above there is just such incredible like Exquisite detailing throughout and a lot of the products are all from British manufacturers we have Julia balcony here again overlooking the courtyard of the black crystal glass really high ceilings in here what a perfect place for hosting then we also have underfloor heating throughout the entire apartment we've talked about the Sonos sound system that's wired throughout all of the primary spaces but I just want to take a moment to appreciate this room the paneling detailing on the wall the textured wallpaper which is inset within the paneling and another one of my favorite features the ambient lighting with a recessed ceiling so now let's move through to the kitchen we just came through the pocket sliding doors and now I can show you the most incredible kitchen so we have the Joseph Giles doors here but an even more special element of this kitchen is the worktops and backsplash that's color cutter wave marble now this is a very exclusive very high-end marble that can be only found in one single Quarry in Italy so it's honestly some of the top tier marble that you can get and map behind the camera as well I love this kitchen what are your thoughts yeah I love it I love the texture on the doors it's really unique I don't think you've really seen that before now have Mila appliances throughout the cooktop over on the left here through here is the Miele freezer and then the Mila fridge this side something you notice that I'm really feeling again I'd love to translate textures through the lens but the quality of the iron mongery here is just astounding and this again is all British made so carrying on with the appliances we have the Miele microwave ovens and further oven here and I like this you know it's just a nice breakfast bar area something a little less formal to the primary dining table it's got a nice feature wall again Elegant Lighting and some nice LED strip around the side now as we come out of the kitchen something we haven't talked about today is the artwork the incredible art on display throughout this property now that is via Tanya Baxter gallery and is available with the property by a separate negotiation so you can go check them out if you like but now let's continue the tour let's check out the lower ground floor first of all some specs of this home talked about the size a little bit so it's 3378 square feet 3 three bedrooms and three bathrooms yet to see let's go check them out [Music] now we're downstairs on the lower ground floor we can take a look again at the bespoke bookcase here you can see some more of the art display pieces throughout first of all I'm going to take you backwards along the hallway I'm going to go through these doors into the primary bedroom now this space is incredible so this is the principal Suite it's a gorgeous room with a lot of natural light even though we're on the lower ground floor we have the balcony door access here onto the courtyard we have beautiful corners detailing again throughout this space I mean look at this feature light there's just so many interesting lights in every single room yeah the chandeliers in this house are amazing incredible and then we have further arts and beautiful pieces that you can check out throughout the tour and one thing I love about this room is as well as the bedroom space you have this separate wardrobe this separate closet beautiful design again all completely bespoke and built for the apartment the European oak flooring through here is straight plank now we're going to head into the ensuite now as we move into the principal ensuite we have dual sinks over here one of the most beautiful marble stones that I've seen throughout this apartment this is dream white and creamer Emperor door it's a long word quite difficult to say but it is absolutely beautiful so I wanted to let you know what that is for you guys now come on through we have the shower here beautiful sanitary wear and then the bath again with the natural marble Stone surround and even some more bespoke tiling here the craftsmanship on display is absolutely incredible now as we continue from the principal Suite we're going to go back into the hallway now something we didn't talk about before and that's this nice seating area again just under the stairs before the principal bedroom the doors here out to the Courtyard which we'll show you towards the end of the tour now we have another Crestron touch pad here so you can again control all the scenes throughout the apartment via this display then you also have the more traditional and simple to use light controls here as well moving into bedroom number two now we talked about the other one being the principal Suite both bedrooms are a really nice size they have the same flooring so throughout the whole of this floor excluding nonsuites is that straight plank style and let's check out the bed so feed your headboard again everything you see is included you literally can move straight in this is probably going to be like a second third or even fourth home for whoever buys it now speaking of that if you are watching this video for the second bedroom we have the sink here a beautiful natural Greystone this is Hermes gray finish and what I love is that it's completely flush through here so the tiles continue on and then you have the marble again surrounding the shower beautiful and then just the toilet behind there continuing down the hallway on my left we have a study area we have storage here such as the plant room all the technology of the apartment some further places to display some are now on my right is bedroom three now this bedroom features some of the original architecture of the building you'll see the curvature in the roof and then they've continued and matched that which I think looks really nice with the Wardrobe spaces here one set here and then also one here so some thoughts around this room obviously it's set up as like a kid's bedroom at the moment you could pull these beds together have a double bedroom it's actually really ideal this room for guests but also staff because there's a separate entrance to the apartment which I'll show you in a moment let me take you through to the ensuite of this room again beautiful natural marble Stone in another finish this is Carrera white marble absolutely stunning you'll have to let me know in the comments below which is your favorite marble what do you think Matt I like the second on swing I think that one the sort of wet room style one I think oh the Hermes gray yeah it's incredible that's a good choice okay so now out this hallway across here this is the utility room you might have been wondering about that when we showed you the kitchen so you want to come through here now we've got an array of storage we have the Miele washer and dryer and then sink space and again more storage and then just behind me is the additional staff entrance and finally there's actually a million microwave here as well if you want a cheeky late night meal let me show you the courtyard [Music] now finally from the lower ground floor we have the outdoor Courtyard really nice space with the wooden feature wall some ambient lighting now let's head back up to one of my favorite rooms to study and we can talk about the apartment all right
