hi guys i am here doing a car tour of how i set up my honda crv to live out of and some of the adjustments i've made after living in it for the last six months i've changed quite a few things from when i first started so i'm just gonna show you guys all of that so here is what the honda looks like from the back i have the honda that has the trunk that opens that way it's actually really nice that this back window opens these are my window covers i have them in um just because it is sunny today it does help with the regulation of the temperature and everything like that i do have a screen that i can put in that i hold up with these little velcro tabs uh so i can keep that back with no open without having to have any bugs or anything get in so the first part of the tour here is my back door if you've ever lived in a vehicle or in a small space you know that um storage is everything so i put trash bags back here more trash bags i put like grocery bags and stuff back here after i do my groceries i have my little poop shovel back here some extra reflectix some rope and then the screen that goes in that back door so that's just the back door that's the easiest part and then we'll get into everything that you can see back here so clearly this is my water storage that's just a hand pump i have my propane my propane stove and my kettle so i can make my coffee and stuff in the morning or if i need to boil water this is the stove that i use and it just goes right on top of that propane bottle and it's super convenient and i keep it back here because even though this is a cooler i store all of my dry food in here so all my dry food goes in here even though it's super messy i just had this out because i made potatoes earlier but my coffee is in here all my utensils everything like that so even though it is a cooler i do use it for dry storage because when i was in the rv previously i was always having trouble with mice and so i like to keep my um my food locked up as much as possible so everything goes in there to be used and this can actually get pulled back a little bit further and it will wedge actually perfectly in between there and at night or if i'm making something like i don't know like avocado or something where i have to cut up i just sit back here and i use it like a table because since it has the cup holders or at night if i'm watching tv i set my phone up here and can just lay in bed and watch tv super easy super nice and then going under here this is actually what i use for a toilet now if i need it i actually don't use it very often anymore but it's just one of those fold open ones that's like a chair on the bottom that you can just poop or pee through i thought i would use it a lot more than i do but i've gotten really used to squatting um so it's fine but i'll pull that out so we can look underneath a little bit better so then as you can see underneath here if it'll focus oh there it goes i have extra dog food storage underneath here and some of my clothes are right here and then on this part i have my hammock in that little bag right there i have a shade that i can put up and i have my winter jacket fold up underneath there if i ever need it so that makes it easy to get to i do have some stuff stored under here this is where my spare tire would go but my spare tire is actually on the back of my car so under here i have like tools extra dog things uh stuff that i can use like if i really really needed it but mostly stays under there unless i have some sort of emergency because uh it is a little hard to get to but the nice part about that is it just slides right back in there and then these are my clothes that are like you know that like pile you have in your house of like clothes that aren't quite dirty but you have worn them and you don't want to put them back with your clean clothes that's this pile um during the day i do put some of my covers underneath my bed here like my window covers and i always keep this sheet goes over all of my bedding so i will say i'm pretty good at making my bed every day because the sheet protects most of my bedding so if this one right here gets dirty and jumps straight into the back i uh i don't have to wash my stuff all the time all right let's take you to the side so here's that little girl i'm in kind of a busy spot so you'll see people drive by don't be concerned so under here here's just the front view of that [Music] i have i'm gonna try to turn this without oh there we go so i have clothes right here these this would have my pants and stuff in here but i'm down to some of my last clothes like my swimsuit that just gets pushed in there and so does this that little mat is pippa's cooling mat we don't really need it right now and then this bin pulls straight out and this is all my shirts i wear the same color shirts all the time so everything in here is black but these are like tank tops underwear just my clothes and then if you can see under there i just have the floor covered in reflectix um and duct tape i know super professional but this is a reality of a build that i did on the road when i made my bed so it's really nice that just pops right back in there and this bin goes right back over top so this is like daily stuff um i only really wear mascara for makeup so mascara breathe right strips you know stuff like that and then i have like nail things benadryl acid reflux stuff you know the essentials and that gets turned to the side so those drawers don't open while i'm driving and then next to this is behind here i have my backpack underneath there and that has like pippa's emergency like first aid kit that has extra leashes um just again things that i might need but i don't have to access very often and then my yoga mat and then this right here is my little backpacking chair that folds up nice and small this bin right here is all my kitchen stuff so that just goes right in there so if i am cooking something i have easy access to it after i get my stove fired up and that again just slides back in there this is my outdoor shower it just has a two gallon tank on it and it has this little pump to pressurize it so then you can just spray with the sprayer it's really nice i always keep it full because i use it for dishes and then back there i just have my dirty laundry my dr bronner's soap rags glass cleaner you know the essentials and that's all that's really back there um and then behind my seat behind my seat is like the extra pairs of shoes that i have so everything really even though it looks disorganized definitely has a place which is really nice right here i have just a bin again of like random stuff um this is my p cup set up that i have i keep it in that roll of duct tape so it doesn't fall over in the middle of night if i have peed in it again this is like laundry soap tampons lighter wipes wipes for the dog probiotics for the dog ear wipes for her my vacuum attachments everything like that so just so i can have some good easy access to it and it slides right underneath the seat and then i've got my little handheld vacuum i keep that there and i can show you better from the front this backseat is like kind of my catch-all i've got like notebooks coloring books sudoku tarot card my laptop's somewhere in there um just like i keep everything kind of in that pocket and then we have the beautiful little girl she's on my pillows um and i can show you from this side my bed my bed is just a bunch of layers of foam stacked on top of that wood piece so people would say that it doesn't seem very comfortable but i can always add more foam so i think it is comfortable at least for me and it tucks in there really nice so there's the back and i always kind of keep my window covers up when i'm somewhere and i've made these um nuts myself if you can't tell how homemade they are they're not very professional but they work so i can keep my windows down without getting any flies in here and i do have covers for these windows and i keep them in the pocket again every storage gets utilized so this has some extra soap socket wrench my scissors go in here i just kind of utilize every little piece like these are some privacy curtains if i'm somewhere where i need to just hang something really quick if i'm changing more in public or you know stuff like that so yeah everything has a place for sure so again moving to the front of the car i've got my hand sanitizer my wipes just like i'm sure everybody after this year i did take the carpet out of the front seat oh i've got my little baby bell thing right there i didn't clean too heavily before i got here um but it makes everything so much easier to clean um and i do plan on like insulating this and duct taping over it just like i have in the back i just haven't done it yet because i really haven't needed to so this is where pippa's water bowl stays it looks so much dirtier on camera but her hair always gets everywhere this is a water bowl obviously i always keep water and stuff up here and then i don't know how to show it here we go so underneath here i do have this little bin that has like my hair brush my fan um sunscreen face lotion my straightener everything like that and it just goes right underneath of my little console right here so i have easy access to all of that i eventually want to move that to a um a storage kind of thing over this mice driver seat but we just haven't gotten there yet and then up here i always keep my jackery so i can just plug it in to charge uh through the cigarette port when i'm driving pippa's leash of course because in her harness because she has her uh seat belt right here because pippa's bed is right here so she sits in her bed buckled into her seatbelt while we're driving i charge my jockery through just driving um the car just through my alternator oh yeah you it's okay corey um and then up here this is my shower bag so that's what i take into planet fitness into the campground into a truck stop whatever it is um and all everything goes back in that bag as soon as i'm done showering even my towel after it's done drying so all i have to do is grab clean clothes and that's it and then this is my like this is my actually cold cooler um so that's what i actually keep things in when i get cold stuff i don't get cold stuff very often so that's why i have just a small one usually it's just before i head out on like a longer drive and i grab drinks or i get frozen food i don't actually usually get ice for it or anything like that and then up here on the dash i just have my crystals and my little stuff like that i used to like put a lot more stuff up there but it got really annoying uh because it would fall this is my like this is where the messy stuff comes in this is like where my hot spot is for work my camera like chapstick credit card headphones everything is up there um and usually during the day when we're parked because of my fear of mice invading my vehicle i have all of pippa's treats and her food always stays up on the dashboard here after i put up the sun shade and then off my same thing utilizing all of my storage space i hang my masks on here my hair ties my citronella um bug thing and then over here just has my sunglasses spare change everything like that so sorry guys so i don't know like if you guys have questions about where i keep anything else but it's such a small space that's why i always laugh when people want a car tour because it's usually pretty quick of like where things are but you're welcome now to ask questions and i can do a little bit of like a q a with it let me see if i can like turn this camera around so i don't have to look at just the back of my phone um oh here we go so yeah so if you guys whoever is watching if you have any questions about where i keep stuff how i do certain things please comment and let me know and i can do a little bit of like a q a right now i just can't oh there they are yeah eventually i hope to get a solar panel for my jackery um and just mount it straight to the roof oh there's my little solar lights that i have that has a little solar charger on it and i keep it up there that's the only light source i have other than my jackery oh okay i'm not gonna answer questions that don't have to do with like the actual organization of the car sorry guys i'm gonna do that in a different q a video because i do have videos already up i'm gonna try to keep this just to being a car tour so does anybody have any questions on how i store things in the car i'll answer them but i want to keep this like on topic because i'm going to repost it yes no maybe well pippa loves being back there that's her favorite spot she uh she just loves to loaf oh where do you store your trash great question so usually my trash goes on the floor behind the seat but during the day i hang it usually in just like a little bag off of my review mirror but at night i bring it in especially if i'm in an area that i don't want to attract animals and i just put it on the ground right here so then if i do let me turn this so then if i do have to like pee in the cup in the middle of the night i can just throw my toilet paper into the trash can if there's something really stinky i will leave it outside but generally i don't have anything that bad right pip all right well i think we're gonna end that for now and we'll do another live that's just um a q a for other travel questions okay guys thanks for joining on this one we'll see you soon right pip say bye
