What an absolutely fantastic film!
Jumbo has to be one of the best teams by far not necessarily in terms of performance but simply the way they clearly stick together as a team. You can tell that there is some solid team management going on there to actually have them function as a full team rather than a bunch of lone wolves. I've only been watching professional cycling for a few years but I haven't seen anything like the kind of behavior that Jumbo regularly shows both on and off the road with perhaps the exception of Quickstep and maybe Ineos.
Man, I can't get enough of Primoz positive vibes. On the day he loses tons of times two or three days after his crash he's smiling in the bus saying "t'was een hele mooie dag" because his teammates did well.
It's a fun little documentary, recommended!
Good shit
That TdF was such a rollercoaster for team Jumbo, it's nice to re-live all that in a short hour of film. Also a good inside view of the teamwork and management.
I'm impressed to see how these guys look chill and rather nice when they are absolute killing machines on the bike.
This team management compared to El dΓa menos pensado π
I just watched the documentary and was surprised about the seemingly "non-scientific" approach. It looked like a lot of emphasize was on the rider's own statement of form. I did not hear the word power or numbers once. Maybe even more surprising in the case of their abandons, not any declaration of data showing decrease in performance or even a statement from a doctor but maybe that's just not shown.
This was fantastic. I highly recommend it!
