you're telling me tears of the Kingdom doesn't run at a stable 30 FPS on the lenover legion go what [Music] the so welcome back to the channel guys don't worry after like days of testing and tweaking I finally found the best possible tears of the Kingdom performance on the legion go and I'll share it with you today if you're here for the settings I'll leave a time stamp and you can like go there directly but I'll show you some of the game play so like for the past few days I've been testing this game like with different performance mods I've been testing it with you know uh different USU settings tweaking like the legion go like Windows stuff like that and yeah it's been really tiring but uh I think I finally found the best possible settings so I'd like to share with you um and you know some of the game play so I'll take you through different like areas of the game this is the sky islands and it's running pretty well 30ish 40 frames all right uh it does like have dips okay that's why it's like never a stable 30 FPS it just has a lot of dips okay but uh yeah I think I've minimized that and I don't have like all the shaders I think I have like 7,000 is shaders right now so you know when you play more of the game you should be able to get better performance less stuttering I'm see if I can find a enemy fight might not be able to oh there's someone over here oh there's fish okay I've got enough of those okay this he an enemy no he's not enemy okay so yeah I think you know what sky island is all about it runs well runs well okay let's go inside a shrine go inside a shrine and see how it performs inside the shrine finally I'll take you to like the hardest place I think for the game most people think it's like Lookout Landing it's not and yeah please leave a like for this video hit that thumbs up it really took me a long time to get this I've been searching online like ever since I got the legion go and I couldn't find any like best settings for Te of the Kingdom everyone says it doesn't run out a like stable 30 but there's no really good recommendations so that's why I'm doing this guide so inside the shrines definitely it runs well because it's it's not open [Music] world I've actually I've done a video like this for the steam deck back in the day and like it ran pretty well I know which areas run well and which areas don't so shrines and the deps they run really really well and you can see here inside the shrine runs perfect runs perfect this is one of my favorite games of all time I think I like breath of the wild a little bit better I've played breath of the wild a lot more I've played it like four or five times but uh tears of the Kingdom I've only played it once really like all the way through I haven't even played my second playr for tear of the Kingdom hey [Music] thought you couldn't climb that thought I could climb it so you can see the shrine is like good okay now let's like dive from The Sky Islands to Hyrule okay and we'll see that find a good diving spot here's a good diving spot hey see if we can dive to and we dive to the deps put on my diving suit put on my diving suit okay there's a bit of a stutter there okay nothing to worry about no I don't think I can make it to the depths so I think we'll just play play around in Hyrule for a bit see if we can find some cbls to fight so in Hyrule like it's okay if you're just walking around Hyrule should be good I think there's not much here okay let's go to look out Landing I think that's more to do there so if you like this video please give a thumbs up and sometimes but yeah pretty good overall Pretty good overall you ask me most people say this is the hardest part to run yeah it's not but there is still some stutters I don't have all the shaders like I have 7 is 7,000 something shaders so if you play more of the game it should should run better okay let's go go up let's go get a horse and ride around Hyrule for a bit where's the stable guy we get a horse [Music] oh it's raining my God I think I need to put on my lightning helmet oh my horse is going to get stapped oh my God spooked my horse come on I think I have to take off the armor um it's not the bow it's not oh it's the sword okay got a bit of stutter there okay so if I'm riding around Hyrule you can see still 30ish frames sometimes it drops into like the mid 20s high 20s but you got to remember this is the open world that's someone I can fight okay let's fight these that it that's it all right let's go to the depths let's go to the depths and then I'll take you to the most hardest part to run in the whole game I think if you like have a different area that you think is harder to run please let me know in the comments and if you like think my settings is crap also let me know in the comments but I would prefer you like show me how to make it better rather than just say it's not good you know I think someone's in the comments going to say oh you know how how do you play like that it stutters so much and yeah I'll get a lot of those comments it is what it is okay so so so the depths not too bad oh actually I should turn on my my companions because it does like have an impact on the performance does have an impact on the performance not a lot but yeah turning on on I think it's a little bit more fair in case you wanted to know yeah so the death's like runs good I know that because it runs good on the steam deck so I'm pretty sure it runs good under Legion go that it okay I changed my weapon and it stuttered a little bit that's understandable okay so now let's take you to the hardest part of the game it's the fire temple like stutter is like crazy here even on the steam deck I don't think it's playable on the steam deck like even with the best settings it's like it stutters so much and it was stuttering for me on the legion go until I made like I found this settings like I wasting it out everything I could and yeah finally right it's very hot here think I I got to put on my suit my fireman suit here it is okay so if I just spin the camera around I think they stutters I just stand still and spin oh my wooden Shield bre okay see see that I'm just standing there spinning the camera around and it still stutters here how bad it is here how bad it is but yeah could be worse could be worse yeah you see all that stutter yeah hard here it's hard hard maybe if I turn the companions off it would be easier let me try let me try to turn the companions off it's still not the greatest but yeah this is the hardest part to run by far oops see how much stuttering there is God it's crazy okay let's get on a cart see how it does let's get on a cart so I think I do need a companion to change the tracks I need Rock dude got his name Goron uh what's it called unibo I think H yeah still stuttering so yeah like yeah I think that's about it I'll show you my settings right now so if you've been waiting for the settings um I'm not 100% sure like I'll I'll try to let you know what I did I'll show you my Yu settings and I'll show you my like Windows settings but um I'm not sure if everything is related but that's what I did so yeah I'll links in the description okay welcome back to my desktop mode that's what I normally say on my steam deck but this's the legion go so I guess just you know welcome to Windows and I'm using Yuzu the Standalone version I'm not using udex version because EMC like runs on top of like steam so you need to boot up steam and that takes up resources and we need every single drop of resource available to make it run the best so that's why I'm using just the stand alone Yuzu okay and inside highlight your game properties these is my settings for the game I'm using the game version update 1.2.0 it's not the latest version there's uh 1.2.1 but I don't recommend using that because the performance mods they might not like work for the latest version okay so I get my performance mods from here the same ones that I've been using for the steam deck from hoverbike yeah I'll leave a link to his GitHub and you can just go here go to the like latest part get the latest version which is 3.1 as of recording okay and just download it for like the game version 1.2.0 if you're using a different game version you could try it but yeah it's not recommended even he doesn't recommend it he has a like a recommended settings I've actually tried using this guide and it doesn't work well with the legion go okay so he has a guide and even he says recommended game version 1.2.0 so yeah I think you should use this game version okay and let's get back to our mods so I'm using anast strop piic filtering fix disable internal FSR downscale ing disable internal FXAA exe FS disable quality reduction and then FPS I'm using Dynamic FPS 45 FPS okay this one and it's used together with this Dynamic FPS version 1.5.5 beta 3 and then um brackets main right make sure you get the right version of The Mod and then Island fix LOD improve Improvement remove lens flare and then Shadows 512x performance boost and then I've got this U mod for the Xbox controller so follow along um let's see mod data so if you this is where you put your mods if you don't know right click your game and then click open mod data location and you just put your mod files here okay these are folders and you download them and it's in the zip and you just drag the mods you want the folders you want into this location and let's check out my other user settings I'll put all these in the description so you can follow along there or you can just pause the screen so system um is pretty much default make sure memory layout is on 4 GB default okay and then CPU I put it to unsafe and all this is checked okay Graphics API Vulcan check these two and then um GPU at ASC decoding method GPU and then vsync mode fifo vsync on GPU video decoding full screen is on exclusive full screen aspect ratio 16x9 resolution 1X and then Windows adapting filter I'm using AMD FSR and then anti-aliasing SMA make make sure you put this on handheld mode as well okay so we're actually running on 720p and then Advanced Graphics accuracy level high anistropic filtering default ASC recompression method bc1 low quality and then I've only checked enable raate uh reactive flushing use asynchronous Shader building use fast GPU time and use Falcon pipeline cache so that's basically it for the Yuzu setting settings and for my Legion go settings on the performance like everything's on performance make sure you're on like custom 30 watt maximum like maximum performance OS power mode performance okay make sure it's all maximum power and then resolution I put it at 1280 by 800 and refresh rate set to 60 HZ okay and then I've got r on super resolution on so it actually upscales like my resolution to my screen so it actually looks a lot better than like 720p and then yeah that's basically it basically it for the and then for my windows I'm using a custom driver um if you don't know how to do that I'll probably do a video about it but there are lot of videos out there already so I'm using the AMD Ron 780m graphics driver all right this is a custom driver it's not the one that came with the legion go if you want to know how to install that you can look it up or maybe I already have a new video up for that I'll show you how to do it so once you've got this like custom driver you also get this you get the adrenaline software AMD adrenaline software okay and in gaming you can select like you know Yuzu since I've got it open that's why it's by default okay and then you put this on radon super resolution enabled sharpen effect fact 75 and then rad on anti-ag okay that's my settings so I'm not sure if this really helps but uh that's what I've got on so yeah you can just follow along um and what else did I do let me see okay I also changed my power plan okay I added a performance power plan and I like for the processor power management I just boosted them all to 100% so whether it's on battery or or plugged in or anytime it's always at 100% processing power okay and I also did the virtual memory so we have 16 gabt of physical memory so to change your virtual memory go to your start button and type run type run and then you get this and you type system sysdm.cpl that's what you type okay go to system properties here and then go to Advanced and then performance click on settings go to advance the again and then here virtual memory change okay so I've set mine to double the like physical memory so it's 32 GB so initial size maximum size I set to 32 GB not sure if that helps but that's what I did and yeah and what else did I do power plan am I think that's about it that's uh so make sure like you don't have any other tasks like that's not don't turn on your browser when you're playing the game like that takes up memory and you know Windows is already bloated it uses up so much memory so if you go here go to task manager okay let me move my camera okay go to task manager you can see the memory like it's it's running so much it's taking up so much memory already so yeah so don't turn on Steam don't turn on stuff that you don't need all right keep it at a minimum I've just got like this this is needed handheld companion because I want to use um the gyroscope I have a video on that you can check that out if you want so yeah let's not drag this video too long I hope this video helped you out this is what I did to get the performance I got at the start of the video you saw the game play
