nothing significant to impact your drive so far. Breaking overnight a direct hit from a tornado in Oklahoma, a small town, decimated this morning. We're talking about Barnsdall, Oklahoma. It's about 40 miles outside of Tulsa and Oklahoma. Officials say that one person died in the midst of that storm. Lauren Crawford is in studio this morning tracking developments in Oklahoma for us and Lauren. We still don't really have an idea of just how vast the damage is yet. >> Yeah. Madison, when the sun comes up, we will get our first real look at just how devastating the tornado was last night in Barnsdall. With population just over 1000. We are told that people's homes, trailer parks, farms and vehicles are destroyed. And at last check search and rescue efforts are ongoing. This morning, people living in the city taking to social media, writing that the whole east side of Barnsdall is gone. Now I want you to take a look at some of the media aftermath. Roofs are gone, piles of debris everywhere, and several power lines are down. According to Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management, the twister damaged dozens of homes, as well as a nursing home. Residents were evacuated from the damaged nursing home. But this is something, of course, we will continue to be following all morning, minute by minute as we get new information. Now the National Weather Service teams are likely to be on the ground to survey that damage, as well as the wind speeds from the tornado. So again, Madison, I will have another update for you next hour as we continue to get new information this morning.
