this year together with my nine colleagues we were able to gather a countless experiences for our 1,000 PS magazine and I'm already starting with is position number 10 position number 10 Yamaha tener 700 position number nine the Suzuki vrom 1050 de yeah in this segment the big discussion in our 1000 PS team was not which is the best motorcycle which is number two which is number three the biggest discussion was um before we even started the discussion biggest discussion was which motorcycles we we should allow in this in this segment because we call it the top middleweight Adventure motorcycles and we have three other um Adventure motorcycle top 10 recommendation lists and we were thinking about okay what what makes a middleweight motorcycle is it the price is it the engine is it the weight so for us it was different difficult to to um to Define it but at the end of the day we made a combination of of price de and um and and engine power um but for sure it will led to discussions that some of you will say ah you cannot call this middle weight it has to be in the top list and so on so what we what what we did we made a a overall best adventure motorcycles of the Year video uh you you will find it you can find it in um in this uh on this channel so there we ranked all motorcycles in the adventure in the adventure segment um and we didn't care about cubic capacity price te and so on so there there were quite heavy discussions which is number one which is number two and then we made the segments we made the best entry level video we made the top middle weight video and we made the the best off-road Adventure motorcycle video yeah but let's go on now with the best um uh middleweight Adventure motorcycle video um number number eight oh one of my personal favorites on number eight the husana nordon 901 9001 and on number seven Aprilia t t 660 Dux 660 big surprise for me U much more off-road capabilities than you you will expect um because ailia for most of you is a onroad oriented brand it's a brand with a with a impressive MotoG GP Heritage GP Heritage and so for us it was really impressive that the turx x60 um provided us so great off-road capabilities we've uh um we we wrote here during our bnia rally trip on a rally um and it was a nice trip and I also wrote here during the season 202 23 um yeah let's go on with number six there we rank the KTM 890 Adventure [Music] R how did the selection process of the 1,000 PS top Awards unfold our team of 10,000 PS motorcycle experts has amazed a wealth of experience enabling us to evaluate our top 10 favorites in this category we individually ranked our preferred motorcycles assigning a one to our top Choice a two to our second favorite and so forth in this manner we determined our most favorite Pikes at the conclusion of the process we computed an average score based on all the rankings we ranked our 1,000 PS top Awards across a total of 23 categories not all 10 experts participated in each category as some of us have more off-road experience While others lean towards track riding and so on never neveress we integrated a vast reservoir of expertise into every category consequently we can really recommend these candidates to you behind this top 10 list lies the collective knowledge of our thousand PS editorial team and thank you for your trust on number five the Suzuki vrom 800 de number four du catti deser digs and now we are heading on to the top three on our list the hus Northern 9001 Expedition yeah it was a close battle it was really a close battle uh all in all 21 different motorcycles received votes from our team all in all seven from our uh Team seven person out of out of 10 voted in the segments because seven out of 10 of our experts have a lot of experience in this segments we made a also a lot of comparison tests during this year we made a lot of trips during this year so you can really trust this list there is really a lot of experience a lot of traveling a lot of racing experience in this list we made we we we attended BOS with several of these bikes um one of our colleagues wolf um rode a lot of uh did a lot of trips um with different bikes on this list um we have tall Riders on in our team we have uh juliander is also a female Rider in our team we have sporty riders in our team we have uh off-road oriented riders in our team so this is really an there is really an impressive amount of experience in our team and you can really trust our results here let's go on with number two oh hot battle that was a hot battle it was a close battle uh number two and number one is there is really a small difference number two has an average score of 6.6 number one has an number number two has an average score of 6.7 and number one is an average score of 6.6 so yeah just one vote made the difference uh but it's okay it's okay it's it's I think it's fine I think it's fine for you and I think you will you um most of you will come to the same result on number two we franked the Triumph Tiger 900 R BR uh a really versatile motorcycle but also number three the the husana nordon 9001 Expedition both of these motorcycles are really versatile you can do so many things with them but at at the end of the day um the the winner bike is the most versatile one at the end of the day it's it's it's it's really fine that she got most of the votes that she got three number one votes one number two one vote and one number three V I found a th000 pairs in the year 2001 and since then we've risen to become the premier with her we really rode a lot of different trips with her and I think The Versatile character and the high quality of this motorcycle uh led to this Victory uh one of our colleagues already wrote half a million kilometers with with with 1,000 Africa twin with the first one but also during our trips this year and last year there was not even one single problem with the Africa twin is always she's always reliable she's always easy to handle on the other hand comfortable and at the end of the day also the Optics other motorcycles in this segment some of them it's not it's not easy to call them sexy but I think all of us like the Optics of the Africa twin so uh for three of us the Africa twin is the personal number one bag but to be honest we have a really spotty Rider in our team and he gave her just a seven so uh due to the fact that he says yeah it's an 1100 cc engine but for me it feels not really powerful and aggressive and he likes for example engines um placed in the norn or in the in the KTM more and maybe that is the big um that's the big difference between the Africa twin and the KDM and the husana that the Africa twin has an a smoother more easy to use engine uh where on the other hand the k d m and the husana gives you a more sporty feeling and more aggressive feeling and so this is the big difference and a good combination of both worlds is the Triumph Tiger 900 R Po and so at the end of the day it was a close battle but I think the I think the the top three list is quite impressive these are really extraordinary good bikes but also yeah position number 10 you can see this is a is an impressive list on position number 10 there is the the ultimate off-road Adventure motorcycle the Yamaha 10700 so it was a strong competition in this in this group and I hope
