TOP KITCHEN DESIGN TRENDS 2023 !🧑‍🍳yesss💫

foreign today we're going to look at all the top kitchen design trends for 2023 and be sure to check out my 2023 interior design Trends video as well if you missed that one because there's a lot of fun stuff in there okay there's a lot to go over so let's Jump Right In number one integrated appliances there's a very strong Trend towards minimizing the look and sounds of appliances with several companies at the 2022 Milan Furniture fair introducing new lines of integrated appliances that are designed to blend into the Cabinetry completely the appliances all but disappear so that when not in use they look more like furniture and Cabinetry as opposed to a kitchen space not only are appliances being visually integrated but new tech is being introduced to minimize noises coming from appliances as well all of this next level integration is great for open concept spaces where the kitchen connects directly to the living and dining rooms first of all it means that you can have your appliances running and it won't interfere as much with other things going on in your space sound wise but also because with the appliances being more hidden away the kitchen can maintain a more streamlined look where the appliances aren't always in your face number two wood Cabinetry wood cabinets are going to be huge in 2023. of course wood Cabinetry has been on Trend before those of us who are older have seen it all from Golden Oak to dark red cherry to Espresso color cabinets the wood tone that is trending right now is not any of those the wood tone that is trending right now not just for cabinets but for all wood pieces are a more medium wood tones like beautiful warm Rich Walnut and Chestnut tones and we're not seeing light wood tones used quite so much right now although they're not disappearing but they're just not quite as popular this ties into how so many people are craving cozy enveloping even moodier spaces that's not to say that all other wood tones are just going to disappear or won't be used all sorts of natural beautiful Woods are being used right now but what I've seen is a big increase in these slightly darker wood tones also white kitchens are not going away for example which is a Swedish kitchen design company is producing beautiful contemporary off-white kitchens with matte cabinets and wood interiors and pairing them with Gorgeous statement Stones as you can see these white kitchens look very different from the white kitchens that were popular 20 years ago so you know when you hear people saying that the white kitchen is going out it's out of style I think it depends there's a certain style of more dated white kitchens that definitely are starting to show their age and certainly the whole white on white thing is getting tiring but there are also many new styles of white kitchens that look modern and beautiful number three statement wine displays statement wine displays are a thing now so for those of you who are tired of keeping your prized wine collection in a Dusty basement Cellar this is great news this is obviously more of a luxury Trend but you don't need to have a huge collection of wines to create a nice little wine display and have fun with this trend I'm Noah wine connoisseur this is a white but I do know that light and heat can affect the storage of wine so there are some things to keep in mind when designing a wine display but if you get the appropriate Appliance for it it can make an impressive statement and it also serves as a great conversation piece for all the real wine connoisseurs out there number four expressive marbles another luxury kitchen trend is expressive bold marble heavily veined marbles are becoming synonymous with high-end luxury with kalakata Viola being one of the favorites among designers and influencers but we're also going to be seeing deep blue marbles blacks greens and burgundies in high-end kitchens in the coming years we'll continue to see a lot of Marble Slab backsplashes that match the counters throughout 2023 as using the same marble for the worktop and the backsplash is very on Trend and very expensive number five 2023 cabinet door profiles so let's talk about what kind of cabinet doors we can expect to see in 2023 according to an article written by Domino designers will be shifting away from classic Shaker style cabinets in 2023. now I actually don't think there's much risk of Shaker cabinets going out of style or disappearing anytime soon but if you want to switch things up you can try a in Shaker style cabinet which is just like the standard Shaker but with much thinner rails and styles cabinets with rated glass inserts are already going strong and even cabinets with stained glass inserts are set to make a comeback in the case of more contemporary kitchens sometimes the cabinet doors are just flat panels with no trim at all this is especially true in European kitchens where many designers are opting to use flat seamless matte cabinet fronts often finished with anti-fingerprint Coatings number six decorative toe kicks toe kicks have been playing for a long time but now we're seeing the cutest little decorative arched to toe kicks pop up all over I think they're a really fun Whimsical little detail to add to your kitchen it doesn't match every decorating style but a decorative toe kick can help make the bottom of your cabinets look interesting and unique and it can make your Cabinetry feel a little more furniture like number seven luxury storage another Trend that is gaining a ton of traction is highly personalized kitchen storage for example look how Becky Hilliard created a totally bespoke system with sliding marble slabs that hide away all her spices and oils and another example from Chris loves Julia that I've actually shown before it's a hidden cabinet also called an appliance garage which they had made in order to hide all their small appliances and of course don't forget about toe cake drawers they're not a new thing but definitely a trend I'd love to see gain more traction because they are awesome you can put all your extra baking trays in there platters placemats your Appliance manuals extra rolls of cling wrap basically anything under three inches tall these kinds of cabinets and storage solutions that serve a very specific purpose are all the rage right now and they definitely help make a kitchen feel very custom and special statement Islands 2023 is all about big and bold Islands even double islands for those with the space and the budget islands with slabs of beautiful stone islands with interesting textures and lots of curved Islands we'll see wood being used on kitchen islands in a variety of ways more often than not on the base Islands connected to the counters or dining table are also becoming increasingly popular [Music] another Trend which is still going really strong is having a different color Island that can be through just using a different paint color from the cabinets or the application of a different color material like wood slats or fluted paneling or something like that number nine induction ranges finally induction ranges are starting to gain some Traction in North America induction ranges have been used for many years in Europe but they were a little slow to pick up in North America with induction the cooktop itself doesn't directly generate heat it only heats the pan through magnetic conductivity this means that you could be boiling water and you could literally place your hand on the burner and it will be cool to the touch although I wouldn't recommend you do this please also because the cooktop doesn't get hot when things boil over they don't get crusted on and it brings water to a boil faster than if you were to use gas so if you're looking at a new range right now I would definitely recommend looking at induction number 10 Lux Hardware when it comes to the jewelry of the kitchen 2023 is all about gleaming luxurious looking faucets and Cabinet Hardware although I will say I do see many Euro kitchens skipping out on the cabinet hardware altogether brass hardware is still going very strong ESP especially in the world of American kitchen design and I'm seeing a stronger tendency to use Chrome in European kitchens mixing Metals is another kitchen design Trend that's still going very strong I've done an
