hey what's up guys Charlie here with MAPerformance and today we're going to be talking about the top 5 best selling exhausts for our Subaru WRX and STI The Subie Rumble is undeniably one of the most defining traits of the WRX and STI so while catback exhaust may not add a lot of horsepower to a relatively stock car it will help to bring out a little or a lot of that Subie Rumble that we've all come to love one thing that a lot of people may or may not know is that an exhaust actually works as sort of a horsepower multiplier but that being said how much horsepower will this exhaust add to my car is one of our more commonly asked questions on any platform really so with this lineup of exhausts if your car is pushing around the factory horsepower numbers then the gains that you would expect from any of these exhausts would be in that 5 to 10 horsepower range however if you have the factory horsepower numbers doubled then the gains that you would expect to see from these would be be that it has a great high quality sound in addition to that at highway speeds there's very very minimal drone also it has the classic quad tip look that you'd get from the OEM exhaust and the only con that we could really think of for this one is that it is incredibly popular so if you are trying to be really unique then this one might not be for you let's go ahead and check out the clip and see how it sounds alright guys so key takeaways from this exhaust is that it has a smooth deep tone with a few of those little pops it's loud enough for you to know what's there but not so loud that you're gonna upset your neighbors when you do a cold star let's jump into the next exhaust which is going to be our ma performance catback exhaust all right you guys so next up on the list was our ma performance catback exhaust our exhaust is weighing in at just over 55 pounds it's also made of a 304 stainless steel material and as far as cost goes this one's going to be really great on the budget because it's coming in at just over nine hundred and forty five dollars pros of our exhaust is that it definitely has a really high quality sound it is again also cost effective so easy on the wallet and ours are all hand crafted for quality construction so you know it's built to the highest quality the only cons that we could really come up with for our exhaust is that it's not incredibly loud so if you were looking for something that's like obnoxiously loud ours probably isn't gonna be the exhaust for you all right guys so let's check out the clip and see how it sounds alright guys so key takeaway from our exhaust is that it's not gonna be too quiet while not being too loud it sounds very mature but when you want to open it up and get on it you can there's little to no drone at highway speeds so if that's something you're looking for this is probably going to be the exhaust for you so you guys next up on our list is gonna be the Tomei extreme TI exhaust this one is super low weight coming in at only 14 pounds this is the only single exit exhaust on the list and it's also the only one that we have on here that's made of titanium so that's why it is super lightweight now in addition to that it is also going to be pretty affordable as well it's less than a thousand bucks coming in at 981 altogether alright you guys so pros and cons of this exhaust is that again it is extremely lightweight so if you are looking for some weight savings maybe if you're going to the track or you're just conscious of that then this one would be one to consider it's also made with extremely high quality so if you're familiar with this brands products then you know exactly what to expect cons for this exhaust is that it is possibly too loud for daily use a single exit design is also pretty unique so if you're not looking for that style then you may also not want this exhaust all right you guys so let's jump in and check out to see how that one sounds all right you guys so key takeaways from this one is that again it is super lightweight it is also super loud as you can tell it does have that unique single exit design so if that's something you're looking for if you want to stand apart it could be good it could also be bad but it is a way for you to make your build unique all right you guys so next up on the list is the ETS extreme catback exhaust this one is weighing in at only thirty nine point six pounds it is also made of a 304 stainless steel material and it is going to be a little bit more expensive than the last ones coming in at 11:39 however it is not the most expensive exhaust on our list either alright you guys so pros and cons of the ETS extreme catback exhaust as you're about to see it does have an incredibly aggressive sound everything from ETS is built with the highest quality so it has a great quality build to it as well you guys will see that on all the welds and it also looks really great really the only cons are that we've heard it is slightly droney so at highway speeds it's we've we've heard feedback that you do get a little bit of a drone and with again it coming in at 11:39 it is higher priced than some of the other exhausts aren't you guys so let's jump in and check out the ETS extreme catback exhaust all right you guys so key takeaways on the ETS extreme catback exhaust is that it is a high quality sound that definitely accentuates that sube Rumble if that's what you're going for while definitely being louder than stock all right you guys so we're gonna move in to our fifth and final exhaust on our lineup you guys will definitely recognize this brand it is the cobb tuning three inch catback exhaust now this one does weigh in at forty eight pounds it is also made of a 304 stainless steel and it is the highest price exhaust on our list coming in at 1295 altogether as you guys are about to see it does have an amazing tone so the tone you're getting from the exhaust sounds amazing it has a great build quality again if you've bought anything from cobb you'll know exactly what to expect once again with this exhaust it does have a big mid-range power so when this exhaust was put on the stock car on the dyno they did see a lot of increases within that four to five thousand rpm range only cons to this exist that again it is a higher priced exhaust it is again on our top five the most expensive of
