[Music] welcome to the world of boxing hand speed is one of the most sought after commodities in boxing to some extent it can be trained but the real master seemed to be born with a god-given gift of quick fists in boxing history there were a few boxers with a lightning punch so i collected the list of 25 boxers and divided them into two categories the legends with an undeniable legacy and the active boxers both prospects and worldwide masters who have the fastest hands in boxing [Music] [Music] [Music] we're starting off our top list with prospects and british boxer josh kelly is one of the most exciting boxers out there he competes at welterweight and has perfect reflexes in defensive technique he also surpasses his opponents in speed keeping up the suspense every second traveling chris colbert is another one promising prospect in boxing who competes at super featherweight he is thought to equate floyd mayweather so he has all chances to be on top of the sport he's really good at defense but his punching speed and lightning counter punching play the most important role in his fights oh my goodness [Music] without question terence crawford is a defense genius and one of the best pound-for-pound boxers nowadays the perfect timing incredible angles of his punches make a difference in his fights and their speed is a real challenge for most of his opponents what a shot [Music] ukrainian boxer alexander uzik is in the top 10 boxers regardless of weight class he is the only fighter in boxing history who held all four belts at cruiserweight having become the undisputed cruiserweight champion his legwork is amazing his endurance is incredible any lightweight boxer would envy his combinations [Music] the next boxer on our list is jorge linares who is the champion in three weight classes this tall strong-willed venezuelan boxer is known for his intransigence and his fast combinations that already took dozens of boxers by surprise [Applause] [Music] is the most famous for his unsurpassed defense and incredible footwork obama can't go too much hand speed too much hand speed and too much feet position and he showed it in all fights against such speedy boxers as gary russell jr and jorge linerez he was not only as fast as his opponents but even managed to outmaneuver and outpower them during the fight that only proves the explosive abilities of this ukrainian stalwart lumachenko the fastest in history to become a three-division world champion [Music] shakur stevenson is a young lightweight boxer who started his career just three years ago and has already become a world champion he has excellent defense and great hand speed [Music] he has the potential to become a new breakout star due to his bright victories you know with the skill the speed you know the iq come on man that's that's the sweet science baby you know what i mean at its finest you know this kid is to me is the future he's definitely the future right now ryan garcia is one more young guy in the boxing world who can become a new pay-per-view fighter he has both an incredible power and lightning quick hands that makes him an extremely dangerous opponent these hands are legally registered as a weapon so be careful [Applause] how quick was that despite all the criticism towards amir khan no one can deny that he has phenomenally fast hands amir khan has he has speed he's had a couple of pressure victories his extraordinary speed allowed khan to win most of the fights there's a big question when it comes to his chin but when we talk about his speed amir still occupies a high ranking [Applause] position in our opinion gary russell jr is the fastest modern day boxer he can hit even faster than the lightning russell jr known for maybe being one of the fastest fighters in the sport [Applause] russell's main disadvantage is that he competes on average once a year and is only several worthy opponents but nevertheless this guy is damn fast and there's russell showing off his speed larry touched him with the left hand right hand what a [Applause] shot as you can see our top list features lots of boxers with incredible skills and willie pep the first legend on our list is also among them he's a boxer with phenomenal defense and ability to sting the opponents with a stabbing punch [Music] the undefeated britain with a record of 46-0 could not only turn the tide into fights and win but also had formidable hand speed [Music] sugar ray robinson had many impressive skills that made him the greatest besides his speed he had the incredible power which he often demonstrated in his split second combinations and on top of that he can repeat them several times in one attack i thought he was a great fighter a great fighter uh i loved his combinations and his speed until this day i've never seen anyone like it [Music] [Applause] shane mosley is rarely remembered in such rankings that is absolutely in vain because in his prime he demonstrated such qualities as high boxing iq excellent footwork and punch power solid chin and extremely effective combinations there's a hard right hand and that may be the hardest punch that floyd mayweather has taken in recent years [Music] dave mosley walks in and says eat this [Music] prince naseem is first of all known for his unconventional boxing antics such as entering the ring on a magic carpet and behaving in a braggadocious way but beyond entertainment shows we can see the boxer with incredible reflexes and great hand speed that was the right hand i was too strong too fast too good one world champion [Music] [Applause] he's trying to do all this for the sheffield fans is flying to the audience trying to talk porpodia who's taking all [Applause] [Music] this zob judah rarely gets into any rankings but at the beginning of the 2000 this guy was really dangerous having finished most of his fights before the time limit was up due to his excellent counter-punching skills [Music] johnny tapia went through really tough times in his life but it did not stop him from becoming one of the best lightweight boxers he could be hit and slowed down but very rarely did fans ever see him take a backward step inside the ring good right hand by tapping again and he is doubling up with that hook to the body look at the hand speed of johnny [Music] iron mike tyson was not that big as a heavyweight boxer he had average height and weight in comparison to his opponents it was difficult to dominate in the division with his dimensions but custom model knew how to turn his disadvantages into his biggest assets and as a result out of a small heavyweight tyson became one of the fastest and most explosive boxers in the world history of boxing he wasn't that tall that big but he could hit you quick real quick and his footwork was outstanding as well [Music] so [Music] someone said even when sugar ray leonard looked in the mirror he didn't see anybody with hand speed as fast as matrix hector camacho is quite a prominent personality in the world of boxing he didn't possess a knockout punch but due to his incredible speed he could easily outperform his opponents during each round overall he competed in eight different weight classes and was never knocked out in any of his 88 professional fights [Music] i fly like a butterfly sting like a bee i ain't ali i'm just a macho man just about your man [Music] floyd patterson was the first star student of custom auto who used the peekaboo style had incredible hand speed and was one of the first fast heavyweight boxers in history patterson was practically untouchable except for one little weakness his footwork his legs were not as fast as his hands that cost him some key fights but anyway his legacy should not be understated wow [Music] taylor had frightening hand speed he was probably the fastest welterweight in history though many remember him from the fight with chavez where the victory slipped out of his hands two seconds before the final gong unbelievable richard steele stopped the fight for few within five seconds to go and after that fight he was never to be the same but what he had done during his career was really shocking now we realize the greatness of muhammad ali well back in the 60s when he entered the ring and danced around the opponent the experts unanimously repeated that heavyweight boxers should not fight in such a way that it is not accepted not realizing that a new era had come to boxing the era of the super charismatic and self-confident boxer i'm still the fastest the prettiest the most fastest the most scientific the greatest fighter of all time ali was faster than most middleweights of the time saying nothing about heavyweight and with all those qualities he seemed almost invincible especially in his prime that's why there was never such a heavyweight boxer before he burst on the professional fight scene in 1960 and there's not been one since i'm gonna float like a butterfly and sting like a bee [Music] manny pacquiao is the champion in eight different weight classes who won his first title in 1998 and he is still ranked as the fastest left-hand boxer in history he is undisputably great his opponents will remember forever his crazy combinations in which even one thousand punches was not a big deal for manny every punch is a snaps it's crazy man [Music] the style of sugar ray leonard included home movements furious flurries and neck breaking combinations that secured him not just bright victories but also established him as one of the fastest boxers in history [Applause] look at those heads the unending combination right early on [Music] conversation what a series of punches [Music] roy jones at his best was unstoppable and an invincible fighter his incredible reflexes allowed him to place his hands behind him and still jump out of that stance and knock a man down to check his chin out 50 fights were needed because no one managed to hit him here we go here we go [Music] you know this guy he do a lot of things wrong but his hand speed makes up for everything he was dexterous insanely fast and he did things in boxing that nobody had ever seen before [Music] [Applause] i am nice but i'm awful crucial with these hands what's up pensacola in the house [Music] thanks for watching and if you enjoyed our video remember
