15. The Colombia Possession
A mass possession happened at a school starting with a Ouija board phone app and ending with
numerous possessed victims being dragged to a church. In Colombia, an 11th grade boy was playing
around on the app when students around him started fainting. Some screamed and started to seize violently. Video of the incident show students writhing
grotesquely and shouting, “The devil’s going to take me!” Everyone from the police to priests were brought
in, and more than two dozen students were affected by the possession. They were eventually brought to the hospital
on stretchers. Some were also brought to church, where Juan
Carlos Baretto [bare-etto], the local bishop, preached against using Ouija boards and apps. The small town of Lloró [lore-oh], Colombia
was supremely shaken up by the event. But there are sceptics of the incident, pointing
to the lack of strange tongues, levitating, or changes in personality – all signs of
possession. “Could this just be mob mentality?” some ask. But the Ouija board’s planchette is pointing
to “no.” 14. The Three Amigos
After playing around with a Ouija board in the village of San Juan Tlacotenco [san won
twa-co-tank-co] in Mexico, three Americans were hospitalized for symptoms of possession. Alexandra, her brother, Sergio, and their
cousin, Fernando, were only a couple minutes into playing around with the board when a
“trance-like state” came over the three. Alexandra started to growl like a demon and
thrash around. Fernando and Sergio were also affected, showing
signs of hallucination, deafness, and blindness. After a local Catholic priest was called in
to perform an emergency exorcism, but refused since the trio didn’t go to church, paramedics
were called. They restrained Alexandra so that she wouldn’t
hurt herself or others. The director of public safety in a town nearby
said that the trio’s medical rescue was “complicated.” “They had involuntary movements, and it
was difficult to transfer them to the nearest hospital, because they were so erratic,”
Victor Demesa [dem-ee-sa] said. “They spoke of feeling numbness, double
vision, blindness, deafness, hallucinations, muscle spasm and difficulty swallowing.” The evil spirits that possessed the trio sent
them to a hospital, where they were treated with eye drops, stress meds, and painkillers. It seemed to wipe out the side effects of
the possession…but the question remains: are they still possessed? 13. Ouija Board Possesses a Home
Robert Stamper tells of his experience inciting spirits from the Ouija board. Robert and his brother didn’t see any results
when they first started using the board; but, as with most users, the planchette – or
the pointer to laymen – suddenly seemed to move on its own. This is when Seth, the spirit, introduced
himself. Robert, taking the whole thing in stride,
decided to challenge the spirit, daring it to demonstrate its supernatural abilities. Then things got really strange. Seth predicted the passing of their friend’s
grandfather, while the chandelier, hanging above, began to clatter, and the room grew
icy. What’s more is a sickening odor started
to fill the room, rotting flesh and foul blood, triggering the brothers’ gag reflexes. When the noises suddenly stopped and the home
was deadly quiet, the boys’ eyes were wide. They decided to put the Ouija board away and
pretend it never happened… But the next week, the grandfather of Robert’s
best friend died. Even worse, the ghost seemed to continue possessing
the house, as the chandelier would shake from time to time, the stench would return, and
the room would chill. The spirit remains to this day. 12. The Nicaraguan Possession
Ouija board possessions span continents. Every corner of the world has some history
of possession through the “talking board.” This entry happened in San Rafael del Sur,
Nicaragua. Four young teenagers and one child pulled
out the Ouija board to play some demonic “games.” These so-called “games” left 13-year-old
Lucia [lucy-uh] Jimenez [him-en-ez] possessed by demonic spirits. Footage shows the girl vomiting and seizing,
while an exorcist from the Christian mission, known as The Light of the World, chants in
order to cast the demon out. “Rise, rise, rise, now, leave her,” he
says. Amidst her puking, the girl repeats the chant,
and the demon seems to bugger off. She hugs her family and friends in relief,
one of whom says, “I'm never going to play demonic games again.” The preacher, as well, seems relieved. She hugs her family afterwards as the preacher
says, “The truth is, young people, that you are looking at what can happen, you could
be the next one; you could be possessed by them.” 11. Epidemic in Elsa Perea Flores
In a school in Peru, dozens of school children became demonically possessed through the use
of a Ouija board. Reports stated that the children had been
attempting to urge spirits to haunt the school. The school property was rumored to be built
upon a mass graveyard where Mafia once dumped bodies, so they believed they were on prime
turf for conjuring up their spirits. The result wasn’t pretty. Nearly twenty children, between 11 and 14
years old, became violently ill with fainting spells, muscular convulsions and seizures,
delirium, vomiting, and frothing at the mouth. Each of these children claimed to hallucinate
a “tall man in black with a beard” who was chasing after them, with an intent to
kill. One recovered 12-year-old student said, “It’s
disturbing for me to think about it. It’s as if someone kept on chasing me from
behind…and it felt like he was trying to strangle me. My friends say I was screaming desperately,
but I don’t remember much.” Three weeks later, and the possession was
affecting between 80 and 100 school children in what the school officials called a mass
outbreak of “contagious demonic possession or interference.” Footage taken at the scene shows children
screeching as they’re hauled from the school to the hospital. Everyone from doctors to exorcists were called
to the school to intervene in the matter. Masses were performed by Catholic priests. But to no avail. Nothing stopped the possessions. Dr. Antony Choy told national Panamericana
TV: “We don’t understand how this has kept on going on…Now there are more than
80 pupils (still affected).” 10. The Devil Worshiping Mother
One first hand tale of possession through a Ouija board started off as a birthday gift. The victim received the gift from her atheist
mother on her 11th birthday. The girl played around with the gift, working
the planchette with her mother…which is when frightening things started to occur. Creepy knockings around the house, whispering…chilling
whispers of the girl’s name. The girl told her mother that she didn’t
want the Ouija board anymore; that it was clear this was conjuring up evil things. But her mother was addicted and continued
to work the board alone. The girl would watch her mother raise her
head with her eyes closed, her hands atop the planchette, and the pointer would move
with such enormous force that it would nearly fly off the edge of the board. Instead of following her mother’s hands,
it would fly out from under them in the other direction. The girl thought, “What is this? Some kind of energy?” The girl was sure of one thing: demons had
entered her mother. Once a gentle and sweet woman, her mother
all of a sudden had a grave desire to kill her. In fact, the girl had to drop out of school,
because her mother had turned so psycho. The girl concludes that seemingly harmless
things, like Ouija boards or even astrology, open the door to Hell. A door that we must close to protect us. 9. Possessed by Bad Luck
A story was shared by a user at ghost-space.com, in which a strange spirit interacted with
her and a friend through the Ouija board. Her friend’s father had recently passed
away, and she asked the board questions about it…all of which were correctly answered. However, the board suddenly found interest
in her mother. In fact, it showed a strong knowledge of both
their parents, which brought them to tears. The demon then seemed to switch, and when
they asked its name, the pointer went back and forth between the O and the Z. So the pair called him “Oz.” They tested Oz, requesting that he blow out
a candle. Before they’d finished their thought, the
room went dark. When the demon began cursing at them, they
shoved the Ouija board in the back of the cupboard. But Oz seemed to call out to them, and they
pulled it out a few weeks later. And what’s more is that it affected their
real life. They experienced only bad luck thereafter. They later discovered that Oz may have actually
been Zozo, an infamous Ouija board demon. 8. A Family Affair
A family told The Sun about their possession experience with a Ouija board. The Canadian family, which included youngsters
Ronald and Lynda, were just having a bit of fun when they took out the Ouija board in
their suburban Toronto home. But John, the father, said things started
to get dicey when the planchette – the pointer which is said to be guided by the spirit – began
to move on its own. “We were all scared,” John said, “but
then I thought maybe one of the kids was up to tricks. We started asking questions, and this spirit
began speaking to us.” John continued to play along with what he
thought was one of his kids, when the spirit asked if he could visit. He shouldn’t have played along. John said this is when the demon appeared,
red with horns, bat wings, and burnt black scaly skin, encircled with a ring of fire. He was laughing, cursing, and flying around
the room. “The room became so hot,” John said. “It was like an inferno from Hell." The demon didn’t stop at simply scaring
the family to death; it also attacked them, biting their arms and face. They tried to escape out the door, but the
demon kept quickly coming back and clawing them. The children, too, were momentarily possessed,
as the demon entered to throw them like ragdolls across the room. It pounded their heads and chests when they
were prone on the floor. Gloria, the mother, testified, “It had hooves
that dug into my children’s faces and skin, marking them badly.” Then, after an hour of fun, the demon disappeared,
while the children were left crying and screaming. The family drove to the hospital to treat
their wounds. According to John, “When it was over, we
were all bleeding and had severe burn marks. Our living room was a disaster area.” Gloria added, “It was supposed to be a joke. We were going to make believe we were talking
with the spirit world.” Joke or not, I’m guessing they never touched
a Ouija board again. 7. Zozo, Take 2
April, a poster at Your Ghost Stories, tells about a time she pulled out the Ouija board
to play around at a party with her sister. They’d just moved in together, and they
had a few friends over to celebrate. Putting the board on a table, they each placed
a finger on the planchette, and April asked if anyone was there. The answer was in the affirmative. When asked its name, the demon went back and
forth between the Z and the O. Zozo again. When they asked what the spirit wanted, it
replied, “Her.” Then it spelt out a name of one of their friends,
after which it began spelling out its own name again. Annoyed that the spirit had begun repeating
itself, one of her friends cursed at it. “That’s when things got bad,” April
said. The planchette grew white hot beneath their
fingertips as the demon started to spell MAMA. They each felt the demon present in the suffocating
room. April knew something had gone bad. “I didn’t feel like myself,” April said,
“I felt as if something was inside me.” Anger and hatred pounded through her, and
she laughed and cried uncontrollably and simultaneously. They ended the session, but the sensation
remained. Perhaps April is possessed to this day. 6. Belial, Malphas, and Legion
Danielle was just a religious teenage girl, when she decided to dabble in the dark arts. At her home in Winnipeg, Canada, she rebelled
against her Springs Church and delved into demonology. It wasn’t over time, but straight away that
her Christian devotion was channeled into Devil Worship. In her yearning to summon a demon, she wasn’t
receiving the evidential proof that she wanted, so she bought a Ouija board. And in 2011, she had the following conversation
with what she calls her “Guardian Demon.” First, she asked if there was anyone in the
room who wanted to speak with her. She got a “yes” from the Ouija board. Next, she asked if it was a good or bad spirit? The answer was the latter – bad. Danielle then asked the spirit if it would
harm her or anyone else. The spirit teased her maliciously, “Maybe.” The Ouija board then revealed that there were
actually three spirits in the room. Their names? Belial, Malphas, and Legion. Danielle thought she was controlling the board,
and her imagination had made the whole thing up, but just as she was about to quit, a loud
hissing shushed through the room. It continued until her friend, Katrina, arrived. She told her friend, and they decided to go
to the church youth ministry. All the while, Danielle was witnessing orange
auras all around her. When they arrived at the church, time lapsed,
and all Danielle can remember is waking during the Christ session, feeling as though she
was being choked and something was being driven out of her. People were all around her, but she continued
to choke. Danielle was taken into isolation, where she
felt a “rush of energy,” in which she was “battling the orange aura.” Finally, Danielle screamed, “Get out of
me!” as she returned to consciousness. And the demon listened. Her choking ceased. Momentarily. Remember, there were three demons. Once the priest began reading the Bible, Danielle
felt the orange aura inhabit her again. Time lapsed. During this time lapse, Danielle doesn’t
remember what happened, but she has a recording of the exorcist, John, attempting to banish
the demon from her. In the recording, she is hissing and screaming. John asked her name, and she answered, “I
am 28!” When he asked again, she responded, “I am
Belial! One of the Four Crowns and chief of 80 legions
of spirits!” After some more back-and-forth between the
demon and the exorcist, the group started chanting in Latin, to which Danielle commanded
the demon, “Get out of me!” The last demon, Malphas, was exorcised from
Danielle, but she believes Legion and Belial still possess her and has undergone four exorcisms
to no avail. 5. Zozo Strikes Again! The Zozo demon persists. This time, it was called up by two girls having
a sleep over. In the red candle glow, the girls sat over
the Ouija board, cold planchette beneath their fingertips. The spirit they were talking with introduced
itself as Zozo. In an instant, one of the girls said she had
a horrible migraine. They went to bed, but that night, when she
woke up, she found her friend had disappeared. Suddenly she heard her shout, “Red!” from
somewhere within the house. It turns out the girl, who didn’t have a
history of sleep-walking, had wandered into her sister’s room, talking gibberish and
screaming, “Red!” When she left the room, they couldn’t find
her. A search party spread throughout the house,
room to room. She was nowhere to be found. Finally, the girl discovered her in her own
room, sound asleep. To this day, they aren’t sure if it was
just a random sleep-walking incident…or a possession. 4. I knew it was true! This possession caused by the ol’ “talking
board” happened as early as 1891. A report by The Globe told of 28-year-old
Eugenie Carpenter. Carpenter was discovered ambling down the
street, nearly naked, and out of her mind. She called out, “Ouija said so, and I knew
it was true!” over and over. After investigating the matter, it was found
that Carpenter’s husband had left her, and the young railroad brakeman that she was seeing
at the time had also broke it off with her over a quarrel. Carpenter, who had heard about the dark powers
of the Ouija, thought she might find some answers through the board. She bought one and went to work. She asked the board whether or not her husband
would return. Ouija answered in the negative. She then asked if her lover would come back
to her. The board answered: “He has ceased to love
you. He will never return.” She paled severely but managed to keep from
breaking down. Only a few days later was she found wandering
aimlessly along the streets, talking to herself, when she was discovered by a neighbor. Crazy or possessed? 3. Fourth Time’s a Charm
On the site, True Ghost Tales, Oklahoma resident, Darren, tells his possession story brought
forth by the Ouija board. In messing around with the board, Zozo made
an appearance on numerous occasions One specific encounter with the demon was
particularly dark. After meeting Zozo on the board, Darren went
into the bathroom and found his one-year-old daughter, who had been bathing, nearly drowned. The girl’s mother had left her alone for
just a moment with the water off. But when Darren entered, the water was on
full blast, and the tub was overflowing. The girl was hospitalized the next day from
“some weird internal infection,” as Darren put it. She was sequestered in isolation, and she
nearly died. Darren said he believes Zozo tried to attack
or possess his daughter. Probably time to step away from the Ouija
board. 2. “The Summoning”: Four girls are about
to witness the power of the Ouija board firsthand. The video begins just as they are receiving
an answer to their final question, and they are now ready to end the session. They start to move the cup in a circle three
times to clear the board, but whatever they have summoned is not exactly ready to leave
quite yet. Just before the girls can cast the spirit
back into its own dimension, it desperately leaps inside of one of them and takes control. The friend to the left realizes that something
is wrong and begins screaming right away. She no longer recognizes her friend. The possessed girl grabs onto her friend’s
arm in desperation, and it looks like she may become violent for a moment, but then
she lets go. There’s a faraway look in her eye as she
shakes. Blood trickles down the right side of her
mouth. “Like a little bird”, the girl says in
a distressed voice. Exactly what she is talking about is unknown. She appears to be somewhere else completely,
as if something from another world is trying to speak through her. Then the possession ends as quickly as it
began. They all rush in and one of the girls cradles
her friend in her arms as she cries and trembles. They ask if she needs any water. Even though I’m not sure exactly what happened,
I think it’s safe to say that a glass of a water probably isn’t going to be enough
to help her. Before we get to number 1, my name is Chills

The true case that inspired The Exorcist involves a boy named Ronald Doe. The boy’s story is one of the most infamous
in the history of demonic possession. And it all started with the Ouija board. In the 1940s, the fourteen-year-old, who had
been close with his departed aunt, decided to try and contact her through the board. But this attempt opened up his body, mind,
and soul to demons. Doe’s case involves text book attributes
of possession, including levitation, contortion of the face and body, strange sounds, speaking
in tongues, and even body carvings. As the possession took hold, a priest was
brought in to perform an exorcism. Doe underwent no less than thirty exorcisms,
and as the priest tried to cast out the demon from him, the boy taunted him and even harmed
him. Eventually, Doe was freed of the demon, but
that’s not without a few bumps and bruises on the priest’s part…and probably some
interesting scarring on Doe’s. Thanks for checking out this video. Be sure to subscribe because we upload new
