one of the best parts of visiting a Disney park is getting to meet our favorite characters having a small interaction with them taking a picture and even getting their autographs but of course Disney has thousands of characters and we don't always get to meet all them so today we're taking a look at ten rare Disney characters that we probably won't get to see any more around the parks don't forget a usual character in Disney Parks nowadays we can find her at the China Pavilion in Epcot or at Main Street USA in Disneyland but we always see her in her Matchmaker look back in June of 1998 Mulan did appear in Epcot but she appeared as ping Mulan's disguise when she went to the war to save her father what's your name your commanding officer just a question I've got a name and it's a boy's name - you are cute aren't you moo shu no then what is it it's ping ping ping did steer my crew yes my name is ping let me see your conscription notice this version of the character only appeared for a while until it was replaced by the Mulan we all know now this was not the only time that ping appeared at the parks in the 2013 year of limited time magic events there was a long lost friends week where lots of rare characters returned to Disneyland to meet guests for a limited time Mulan appeared in a ping uniform again along with moo shu where they met with guests and let them know what they were up to lately ping was also part of the after dark nineties night event at Disneyland but hasn't been seen since then but who knows maybe with the upcoming Mulan live-action movie we'll see her come back the dream finder [Music] hello there I'm the dream finder and my little purple friend here is a figment of my imagination feigning crying as we've said before the opening of Epcot was a great opportunity for Imagineers to create new characters and the perfect place to do this was the imagination pavilion for this pavilion Imagineers created one of the most beloved attractions we would ever see in the history of Disney Parks journey into imagination this charming dark ride took guests through a musical adventure of arts literature entertainment and music where we were accompanied by the musical dream finder a kindly dreamy inventor and his parrot sized purple dragon figment these two lovable characters would sometimes appear around the imagination pavilion beating guests and taking pictures sadly in October of 1998 the right clothes to make way for a new ride called journey into your imagination the rides track was cut in half Figment made a single cameo in a constellation and the dream Finder was completely gone he continued appearing in merchandise and even as his own comic book but he doesn't appear at the parks anymore at the 2013 g23 Expo dream finer and figment made a surprise appearance during the Disney Legend ceremony in honor of Tony Baxter but that was not all attendees of the expo who wandered through the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts pavilion called journey into Imagineering discovered a special meet-and-greet with these amazing characters we would love to see them back edgar Balthazar [Music] Edgar's one of the less evil Disney villains we can even empathize a little with him after all who wouldn't be disappointed to learn that after so many years of loyalty he would be completely passed over for Madame Adelaide's cats of course he didn't make the best decisions when learning this but thankfully he was not evil enough to kill Dutchess and her kittens the Aristocats characters have appeared lots of times in the parks marita loose and Berlioz appear in many parades and even have meet and greets with guests but Edgar had never appeared before but then in 2018 Disneyland Paris had its first Disney loves jazz event this amazing event features multiple renowned jazz artists in concert at the parks access to rides hints special meet and greets one of these meet and greets is edgar guests attending the event were able to meet Edgar at the ratatouille Miniland in toon studio at Walt Disney Studios parks Edgar stood waiting for guests next to the cat's basket in his trunk to timbuktu the event took place in September 2018 and again in June 2019 you know what I'm sure he never would have left max goof s powerline info i 2018 Disney Paris had the Disney fan Days event this was an amazing event where guests could meet lots of rare and never-before-seen characters the event started with an awesome parade that more than 50 characters were part of of course the best part was meeting them and taking pictures with them another special thing the event had was max live getting goofy with it this was an awesome concert where max appeared with the power line costume and we can all agree that this is a dream come true not only do we all love the goofy movie but we have a special place in our hearts for power line so seeing max dressed up as power line giving a concert is as good as a guess during the concert we could also see goofy nick judy angel stitch cusco yzma and even more rare characters like the Three Caballeros the show ended with a special encore where all the characters came out and sang I - I but luckily this wasn't the only time when max appeared his power line this year the after dark nineties night event took place at Disneyland this nostalgic event brought back music and many characters straight from the 90s so of course max had to be there wearing his power line costume and just like in the fan Days event he was seen with goofy dancing - eye to eye we would love to see him again at the park soon the Emperor's New Groove game [Music] Kuzco yzma and kronk are some of the most fun Disney characters charge you full price you got one chizel no status gender spuds coming spicy ass cheese no all the cheap no I want that you season it excuse me no likey no tease it come on make up your mind okay on second thought make my potatoes a sonic so it's pretty sad that we don't get to see them much at Disney parks they used to have a special meet and greet where you would enter cusco throne room and meet all three of them but it sadly didn't last long now you do off my groove I'm sorry but you've thrown off the interest groove [Music] these three characters also appear at special events and shows in the Disney dreamers show at Disneyland Paris Cusco appeared in both his human and his llama form wait during this part of the show he's returned cusco into a llama and Mickey Chip and Dale try to help him become a human again they finally succeed and Cusco gets back into his human form Kronk also appeared at the Disney Villains Halloween celebration parade at Disneyland Paris in both crock and yzma appear at the villains Tonight Show at selected zni Cruise Line sailings but during the show they are both face characters and don't wear any masks Kingdom Hearts King Mickey Sora Donald and Goofy they can take your world they can take your heart cut you loose from all you know but if it's your fate then every step forward will always be a step closer to home Kingdom Hearts is without a doubt one of the most loved franchises for Disney fans this awesome crossover between Square Enix and Disney has created a big list of fans that have been in love with the game for the last 16 years so of course we would expect that our trio of heroes should appear at Disney parks regularly sadly that's not the case and our heroes have had very limited appearances for guests the first appearance they had was back in 2004 they came out to meet guests during the not so scary Halloween party at Walt Disney World Sora was presented with a mask instead of being a face character like Disney usually does for human characters Sora appeared as his Kingdom Hearts oneself with his usual red costume and he had an amazing life-size Keyblade with him Donald and Goofy were out greeting guests also during this event they both had their Kingdom Hearts costumes and weapons Goofy Addas knight shield and donald his mage staff this was the only time that Sora met guests but Donald and Goofy did come back again during Japan's 2013 d23 Donald and Goofy came out to present the Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer to attendees but these weren't the only Kingdom Hearts characters to ever appear King Mickey made a special appearance at Japan's 2015 d23 this is without a doubt one of the most amazing costumes that Mickey has ever worn in 2017 there was a cast member Appreciation Event in Orlando and Donald and Goofy were there wearing their Kingdom Hearts costumes and saying thanks to cast members for all they do and after that they flew all the way over to Disneyland where they appeared during the 2018 dvc moonlight magic event hopefully we can get to see these characters in the future the Three Little Pigs when the animated Silly Symphonies short the Three Little Pigs came out in 1933 audience's went crazy the cartoon ran for months and theaters after its debut it won the 1934 Academy Award for best animated short film of 1933 and it is still considered to be one of the most successful animated shorts ever made so of course when Disneyland opened practical Pig fiddler pig and Pfeiffer Pig had to be there along with the big bad wolf but as time went by these characters were less and less important for guests visiting the park so they stopped appearing as much they became regulars in Disneyland's version of Fantasmic from 1992 to 1994 fretting the Mark Twain's riverboat until they were replaced by newer characters they've appeared in many parades like the Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade dream lights or the special 2019 lunar year show at California Adventure but it's pretty difficult to find them strolling about at the parks they made a special appearance at the long-lost friends week and also at the DVC moonlight magic event at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World they also come out to play sometimes in world bazaar and at toontown at Tokyo Disneyland's Stromboli [Music] well well well Stromboli so that old Rascals back in town a Mickey's Toontown fair open as Mickey's birthday lane in 1988 and then changed to Mickey Starling this land was set in the city of Duckburg and had facades depicting various landmarks of the city in addition to statues of icons like Cornelius coot and Scrooge McDuck the lane also hosted a Disney Afternoon stage show and a petting zoo it then changed it became Mickey's Toontown fair this new land was like a holiday home for many cartoon characters and it was full of amazing meet and greets one of those meet and greets was Stromboli's Stromboli the master a showman that's me and by special permission of the management that's me too was that an orgy is now Stromboli as a character has a lot more presence at the Disney parks than you'd think we can of course find him at Pinocchio's daring journey at Disneyland Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Paris Stromboli's wagon appears as a shopping kiosk in Fantasyland and he also used to appear in the former Tokyo Disneyland attraction Cinderella Castle mystery tour but as a walk around character he is now impossible to find he only appears in Mickey's Toontown fair but since its closure Stromboli meet and greets were done The Hunchback of Notre Dom gang [Music] up there hi hi in the dark built our needs the mysterious bellringer like most Disney movies The Hunchback of Notre Dom is loved all around permit me I'm Phoebus it means Sun God and when it came out the movie characters could be seen around Disney parks Quasimodo Esmeralda captain Phoebus troll oh and even Clapham used to meet guests but of course as time went by and other movies came out these characters started being less and less popular among guests Quasimodo made rare appearances at Disneyland Paris Esmeralda appeared once in a while at Tokyo Disney and sometimes could also be seen at Disneyland Paris and is usually accompanied by Papa captain Phoebus is the rarest of them all making little to no appearances at the parks with a surprise special appearance in 2015 at the France Pavilion in Epcot perhaps the most commonly seen character from the movie is Frollo who appears at almost every Park in the Halloween season nowadays it's harder to find these characters but they can be seen at special events like the DVC moonlight magic special event orange shows in parades Shenzi IDI and bands i this crazy hyena trio is not easy to come across at disney parks in 2004 they were a part of Disney Paris's Lion King carnival this was one of the few times where you could find them as a meet-and-greet you could see them standing in their back to legs instead of walking on all fours they are usually seen greeting guests along with Timon generally you can find them in Halloween parades like the boo to you parade in Mickey's not-so-scary Halloween party at Walt Disney World but they had another meet-and-greet during the 2014 villains Unleashed event at Disney World they took pictures with guests and also took part in an awesome show along with other 50 villains they also appeared at the Disney dreamers everywhere then at Disneyland Paris these pack of hyenas used to hang out near the Indiana Jones stunt spectacular show but they are sadly not around anymore there are lots and lots of rare characters that have been
