Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
Suffering from success, itβs impossible to pick just 10!
10 moments is not enough. They missed Turkey 2020 and Fuji 2007.
What a fucking video man
Bahrain 14 definitely deserves to be in there, Nico tried so hard to pass and Lewis reclaimed the lead every time. Lewis got screwed by safety car and strategy at the end and still managed to fend off Nico on faster tyres
There are so many races missing. Monza 2018, Turkey 2020, Hungary 2019, China 2011, Austin 2012.
The 10 they picked were okay though, although i certainy would've put his Singapore pole ahead of his Styria pole and i would not agree that his Melbourne qualifying was lackluster, because Q1 was an absolute shock already. We came just from two seasons where Alonso completey trashed Fisichella and he was an established driver. Hamilton was a 21 year old rookie where it was pretty controversial that he even got the seat and in his first Q1 session ever, he outqualifyed Alonso. And even in Q2 and Q3 he was missing just 0,25s. For me that was the strongest first qualifying i have seen from a driver and i have seen them all since 1991.
Just to give some context of other star drivers first ever qualifying:
Schumacher, outqualifyed de Cesaris by 0,8s.
Raikkonen, was outqualifyed 0,3s by Heidfeld.
Kubica, was outqualifyed 0,8s by Heidfeld (messed up his Q3 run. Did very well in Q1 and okay in Q2).
Rosberg, was outqualifyed 0,3s by Webber.
Vettel, was outqualifyed 0,65s by Heidfeld.
Ricciardo, was outqualifyed 0,55s by Liuzzi.
Bottas, has outqualifyed Maldonado by 0,3 (it was a wet weather session)
Verstappen, was outqualifyed 0,25s by Sainz.
Leclerc, was outqualifyed 0,1s by Ericsson
Legendary shit. He always comes through with some Hamilton magic.
When I saw this first pop up on YouTube, I panicked and thought he had retired.
Monaco 2008 is underrated.
There'll probably be a "top 10 moments of underrated Lewis' Brilliance" next to cover everything people are mentioning here and in the comments that they couldn't fit in!
Youtube editor better hope he doesn't run for another 5 years or they'll never be able to stop these ;)
