How’s it going YouTube? I am Landon Dowlatsingh and welcome back to another most amazing top 10 video. If you guys missed our last video click right over here and also, we have links to some more of our videos in the description below. So, lets just get right into this one, this is the top 10 kid serial killers released from Prison. Starting off at number 10, we have Curtis Fairchild Jones who was just 12 yrs old when he committed murder. Curtis committed this crime with his older sister. His sister Catherine is just a year old and both of them killed their father and another male relative. They said the reasoning for this was because they were molesting them. They have told many people about the abuse but no one believed them. Curtis was sentenced away for 18 yrs and at the age of 29 yrs old 17 yrs later he was released from prison. Moving into number 9. We have 15 yr old Brookes Shumway who was sent to prison back in 2000 for stabbing his 14 yr old friend to death during a sleepover. The autopsy revealed that Ray his friend was stabbed 39 times. That’s like serial killer mentality. Brookes spent pleaded guilty to the crimes and spent 16 yrs in prison. I just think it doesn’t seem fair that his friend will never get a chance again at life but Brookes is in his 30s and can now enjoy his life. Alright number 8. We have Hope Rippey who was 15 yrs old when she and three others were convicted for a brawl that resulted in the death of a 12 yr old girl. This murder took place back in 1992. After surviving just 14 yrs of a 40 yr sentences she was released. This again makes no sense, the judge got her with a 40 yr sentence but some how the justice system is able to get her out in just 14 yrs. Something tells me not enough time was served here. Just listen to this crime, after Hope Rippey and the other girls beat the crap out of this 12 yr old girl with a tire iron and a knife they took her alive and put but into one of their cars. They than drove her to a rural area where no one was around and they burned her alive. This is just so messed up. The reason for this apparently was because Hope and this 12 yr old girl was dating but the 12 yr old was involved in a lesbian love triangle. So Hope got jealous and this is when she decided to murder someone. Number 7. We have Yvette Louisell who was able to outlive her prison sentence. When she was just 17 yrs old she was convicted of first- degree murder. This was back in 1987. Well after 28 yrs Yvette was released from prison. In fact Yvette became Iowa’s first inmate convicted of first- degree murder as a teenager to be granted conditional parole after a 2012 supreme court ruling declared that mandatory life- without parole sentence was unconstitutional form of cruel and unusual punishment for those who committed their crimes before turning 18 yrs old. Let me know what you guys think does age matter when a murder is committed? Let me know in the comment section. Moving into number 6, we have Mary Bell who was just 11 yrs old when she was murdered someone. Mary strangled to death two younger boys. Back in 1968 after the murder happened no one know who was responsible at the time. It wasn’t till 2 yrs later where Mary broke into a nursery and vandalised it. She also wrote a note saying that she was actually responsible for the killings. The police actually dismissed the claim thinking it was just a prank. An investigation was on going and police noticed that the killer carved a M into the boys’ stomach after he was killed, and also his private part was mutilated which is so sickening. Well police eventually linked the M with Mary Bell. Mary Bell was just 11 yrs old when she was marking her victims. Is this real-life right now? Police arrested her got a confession and her is the shocking part she only got 12 yrs behind bars. At the age of 23 yrs old she was released. During this whole thing her identified was kept from the public for her safety. She eventually had kids so her name was continued to be kept private to ensure the safety of her daughter. Up next in at number 5 we are talking about Craig Price. Back in 1989, when he was only 15 years old, he brutally stabbed and killed a 39 year old woman and her two daughters who were 10 and 8. He was already a suspect in another murder investigation so when the police came to question him, he was found with wounds on his body and the murder weapons. So he was convicted on 4 counts of murder as a minor which means he would be released by the age of 21. Now at number 4 we have, Mitchell Johnson and Andrew Golden. These two young boys were 14 and 12 years old when they decided to bring guns with them to middle school. They killed four students and one teacher and wounded ten other people. Since they were only minors at the time, they were only imprisoned until they were 18. Actually, they are the only mass school shooters in the United States who aren’t currently in prison for their crimes. Alright number 3, we have a repeat offender. A 17-year-old boy was originally convicted and sentenced for kidnapping and murdering a child. Well within two months, he was released from a juvenile home for “good behaviour” but now he is being accused of murdering an elderly lady who was found dead in her home. Police said that he strangled her to death before he robbed the house. Clearly he needs psychiatric help and better rehabilitation. Number 2 we have Jon Venables who was 10 yrs old when he abducted, tortured and murdered 2 yr old James Bulger. This took place in England. I am not sure how a 10 yr old was capable of doing so much wrong. Imagine being the parent of this sick kid and you just found out what they did. Jon mutilated James Bulgers body and left his body on a railway track. Jon was charged in 1993 with abduction and murder. He was the youngest convicted murder in modern English history. He was sentenced to prison without a term at the time. When he turned 18 yrs old he was released from the juvenile prison with new identities and was placed on a lifelong licence. A lifelong licence in England is where your sentence lasts until you die. There were many petitions to release this young kid and a judge over turned his sentence. He was eligible for release at the age of 20 yrs old. In 2013 he was finally released from prison. Finally at number 1 we have Robert Thomson. Robert was actually the second 10 yr old kid involved with the last case we just talked about. That’s right Jon Venables and Robert both kidnapped, and killed that 2 yr old kid. This case became a very high profile case. This case sparked the debate on how to handle young offenders as young as 10 yrs old. I tried to find pictures of what these kids look like today but I was not able to find them because remember I said their identities were changed when they hit 18 yrs old to protect them. So they are released from prison now, and we have no idea who they are which doesn’t make sense to me. Well there you guys have it.
