This is good although he's missed one point. As the price of a good drops, consumption increases. I don't think we'll be seeing fewer cars on the road by 2030, in fact, I think we'll see a lot more. This is especially true if children too young to receive driver's licenses are able to use the service, but also the elderly will probably travel more than they do now since it won't be as taxing for them, and automated delivery services will skyrocket.
I'd bet quite a lot of money that there are additional uses of AEVs that haven't been thought of as well. As the price drops, there will be more and more viable business cases that treat AEVs as mission critical. And part of me wonders if there won't be a giant fad of AEV motor homes that people live in full time.
