The thing that is most upsetting is just the fact that people might misconstrue Em’s persona back in the day with this wannabe. At the time, Em was anti-establishment and had a fuck everything attitude because everything was censored, it was too much for white suburban moms to handle. Em’s anger and outrage came from personal issues that Em was confronting and working out in his music but this opportunistic poser saw Trump’s fan base and saw $$ and they ate it up quicker than gen-z ate tide pods. It’s not surprising someone like this exists in our world today - but it’s always a shame when they tie themselves to one of the greatest ever for clout and clicks.
