" I wanna put those round things in the cup but dat bitch gonna yell at me...."
That face was priceless.
My kids never did this. They actually regulated their behavior to make me angry.
Dude Kelly is a bitch.
Study confirms adults are assholes.
Man, maybe I'm just being a dumb dad, but this video made me incredibly sad for some reason. The kid was genuinely afraid to play with the toy so as to not anger the adult. Really goes to show how you act around your kids affects them way more than you think.
Disclaimer: I am not a scientist.
I feel like this experiment had too many variables to come to the conclusion that they
came todid. Why did they not let the toddler play with the cup and beads before the lady with the magazine entered or after she left?Edit: grammar
Edit2: /u/Sharwdry had shown me that I had overlooked one important fact. This video is a reinactment of the experiment that was published. Kind of like a behavioral experiment TL;DR for the community. That is why it is so brief.
So, this is why I love kids - you can literally see it on their face the learning, and the gears turning - or when the woman used that tone of voice it looked back at the other girl with a " oh you done fucked up now"
Watching experiments on kids is really freaking weird.
No shit they do. Otherwise they would be strangled at a much higher rate.
