upside-down radical myths Bryan Fox bears nothing but black is known as a backcountry snowboarder and a sourpuss attitude will make anyone cry sage kotsenburg is from Park City Utah he is the reigning winter Dew Tour slopestyle champion eats nothing but high fructose corn syrup and has the attention span of a fly who else is there Canadians [Music] where you headed going to New Zealand and do a little filming down there we're gonna do a little bit of snowboarding a little bit of surfing a little bit of skateboarding pretty cool little crew that's gonna cruise around South Island there's another I was down there for some contest uh Travis Rice is down in New Zealand right now for the super EXTREME guy I don't know what it's called he's always entering these extreme contests I can't really keep up with which one he's in right now but I think he's in the world heli challenge I think that might be the name of it so in movies about the Todd cast movie is about me following people around and basically just life commentary we're gonna cruise around go hang out with the high-profile members of our team you know who likes to Travis Rice and Bryan Fox and have you seen Travis Rice no you just get on the wild horses on your property Travis Rice signature outerwear test impact you know just living Encinitas we like skate and surf joke cheap shots at Todd after Todd got done eating Panda Express now he's going to Starbucks get a kinda two pumps in the chocolate with no wood paint say last year we really started to mark it around the Todd casts and really sort of push the get the word out about them and we started to see that they were getting hundreds of thousands of views the natural progression of that we thought was to try to make a whole movie it was always meant to be a kind of fun and experimental project he's still a professional athlete he still rides for Quicksilver as a professional athlete but he's also got this second career going as a host in naked statues everywhere every once in a while in the history of comedy there comes a person who really can make a shift in the domain you know there's the Lenny Bruce's the George Carlin's the Bill Cosby's but really Richards is gonna be that next person I mean there's a rich history of comedians and mountains most people don't realize but if you look at the history of Jewish comedy and the Catskills for example remember your audience has the attention span of a fly no exactly you've already lost them I know how do we fit in action into say early on in the movie tyranny is hassling us about action footage let's just figure out where is the first action sequence gonna be will run into Travis you just stop it right there and then you make have like a thing coming gulp Wow Travis rice and then I going down in the Southern California yeah it's exciting you know it's a constant movement you know in the waters like when I really feel I guess the energy better [Music] I find we're always looking for oddities you know wind water the weather has created this weird earth formation and then trying to bring your own like creativity into it and make it work [Music] did I even go on this trip this is all the stuff from uncle Roy's house [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] it just seems like that was a different trip than the one that I was on that one looked like it was a lot more fun you feel like I was doubt yeah grab the door though you're on the screen you're in the screen credit or good black party luck what the is going on here there's a possibility if we go to cook we can hell you there if it's gonna be just a pile of warmed-over ass then we might as well just go cut our losses go to the coast surf skate comeback ride snow park for two days and biggety biggety / so we go to the ocean or we keep going to Mount Cook and to tell you the truth I don't necessarily believe someone that's gonna take six thousand dollars from us that they're gonna tell us the truth yeah mate it's great when you get up there and you're like you're riding the flats you guys did it the other day you went up they paid five thousand bucks and basically you didn't really [Music] is it going on a biplane ride I don't think we're staying here tonight Jesus Christ is such a pain yeah my adventurous days are over don't forget to lock the car because there's a rapist loose in this town who's Brian I'm gonna stay I'm gonna stay with the vehicle Brian I sleep in a tent by himself adds a little creepy never abandon your mode of transportation good night good it's like a metaphor for this trip isn't really rolling smoothly I feel like five was near meltdown yeah he's over it this is reason well it's like I said when he's like 40 year old man he's like been doing this for I don't know 25 years or something like it's not looking to drive around with his head cut off in an RV you know like uh but I like it we simply put the pole of table away and then this back seat polls over links coming out and you make up the big board how many steps is every one we my friend you go to a place that you already know it's gonna be good you get there you get a car you drive to that snowboard area it's nowhere there you drive to the airport and leave and you just didn't experience any culture or anything about that country or you might as well just stayed at home and went snowboarding because all you did was go to a different resort where the most worthwhile experience or stories you have were like the other stuff around that snowboarding I'm dark and mysterious and I only do things that are hurt and make me dirty that's fine my name is Todd I only do things that cost a lot of money this is the arrowtown skate park founded in 1998 it's fantastic place to come with you and your family you can skateboard your family can shop you can go on the river and fly fish it's really wonderful let's move on now to some of the other historic sites here in our town well yeah I could we could just go eat some more guys we prefer burger yeah it's go I don't really want to go further burger let's do it though where does Brian want to go yeah where do you want to go what do you wanna eat you want to go in that river and salmon and in the skate park what if we split up where do you want to go I was getting some camping supplies and then going out okay none at all let's get massages I was that you ever had a massage I have had a massage a lot [Music] no God cast Cuba clarity it's all in the edit it's all in the edit laughter we really ratcheted up a notch seeing that we really didn't do any snowboarding hopefully today will be a fun skateboard game well I just go skateboard in the rain [Music] Brian and sage have gone camping boxes it's just one of those guys who just likes to be in the world we're gonna do a little line to the car [Music] looks like we're in uh somebody King Coughlin [Music] we're gonna go play some mini golf be the ball baby be the ball don't ever put your hands or put inside models have a nice dinner you guys I've had my fair share of Indian maybe watching movie in the hotel I'm gonna don't really little room here that's just no real great snowboarding we kind of need like really great snowboarding we need some we need some snowboarding in it we got a little we're making like a bit of a snowboard movie how many is it not masquerading as a snowboard movie right so we can masquerade the whole movie until the end where we have some actual snowboarding where do we get them we could use all the winter stuff and your stuff from like the 1980s sweet okay dropping in 10 just drop it and that would take some sweet music from like a Warren Miller movie exactly right and it has no meaning exactly you know look good right
