''TODAY'' by Akiane

[Music] I finished a new painting it was one of the most enchanting in peacefull three months I'd experienced [Music] I started filming the story for my new painting everything was going smoothly I was really happy three months passed by it was time to present the story of my new painting when I was just about to share it with the world I noticed that something was wrong something important was missing but I had no clue what it was I felt so frustrated and confused I knew I had to discard three months of filming and editing and start everything from scratch I needed a whole new perspective in order to find the missing pieces the next morning I woke up with a new insight the clues to solving this story will be revealed to me today moment by moment like any other morning after painting I cleaned my brushes most of them don't last for more than a few months because Irish sheep and remake the bristles for specific brushstrokes [Music] sauna is always the first to be taken care of because she has to be milked twice a day at exactly the same time no exceptions even though it's the same routine every moment still new for her [Music] when my youngest brother was nine he started this farm but the farmer is much harder than he imagined especially when it comes to losing his favorite animals just as it happened today favorite chicken passed away but in a circle of life there are also unexpected miracles early in the morning matroyshka one of her beloved goats delivered three kids every moment is magical for them I enjoy the serenity and the flow of the morning I appreciate new challenges and responsibilities cooking for my family is my small way of showing my gratitude they have been always there for me my day continued as usual my books and puzzles would deliver to my studio just on time to be shipped out for the holidays I signed my books limited-edition prints and various contracts like any other day I went for a run in the forest for inspiration but I returned home earlier because I had to catch the train to the city [Music] I love people and the energy they bring to the cities each and every one is a walking book I love getting new ideas from the most unexpected places the city life may appear like an overwhelming chaos but to me it's a harmonious Symphony where we all play an important part even if it is a difficult one especially when our close friends take a completely different direction in life and move on that's what happened to me today another unexpected goodbye from one of my friends yet today I felt peace about it because I realized that even this experience was a gift and another missing piece of today's puzzle throughout this day I became more and more aware that each and every moment was irreplaceable [Music] today I also realized that this particular painting was not meant to have one single interpretation today was a reminder that in life we don't need to know our whole life story ahead of time the blessing is in the peace of not knowing yet being true to the purpose that is given to us moment by moment all we have is today always just today today is like a meadow by allowing today to blossom and by embracing the unpredictable changes that shape our life we get connected to endless possibilities every moment is like a flower we cannot teach a flower how to grow we can only learn from it we all walk through this meadow of blossoms surrounded by thousands of unpredictable moments vulnerable to sadness and fear open to gratitude and happiness here she is finishing braiding her hair and taking her time to cherish everything around her a soft golden light illuminates her face the light is always there day or night every day even today it is her compass guiding her to her journey in life our life is a puzzle it cannot be completed without today in the beginning we start putting the puzzle together one missing piece doesn't seem that important but in the end it becomes the most valuable [Music] [Music] [Music] you
