what is going on you guys welcome back to another video I hope you're having a great day today I have a different video for you guys so as many of you know and the reason you guys are here is I've been bringing you guys some tips videos on Fallout 76 most of which being tips for new players and things I wish I knew when I first started playing well today I'm going to bring you a video similar to those this is going to be tips I learned the hard way so these are tips that I learned that do have consequ is that you're going to regret once you figure out that you messed up so we're going to jump right into these guys there's more you guys can think of let me know in the comment section down below because there is tons of them but anyways this first tip that we've G to do oh we got a player here at the camp let's give him a little wave I always wave the players we see here in the camp anyways now that we gave a wave guys um the first tip that we have here guys is do not scrap perk cards until you hit Level 50 and this is one I regretted very early on so I you know if you open some perk packs let's open some perk packs now right now shall we we're going to open three of them here we go just to show you how this process goes and you do get a funnies with it let's go all right so as you can see you do get a bunch of perk cards and stuff like that but once you get those perk cards you can scrap them for perk points now these perk points don't really help you until you unlock your Legendary perks so you scrap in your perk card for the two perk points is not going to be good because once you figure out what build you want your perks are going to change dependent on the situation that you're in so once you're level 50 and you decide to go with the I don't know uh stealth fixer build well you already scrapped all your gun fu and your action boy cards and those are vital for that build because you use Vats a lot so basically guys what I'm saying is don't scrap the cards until you're level 50 just hold on to them if all else fails yeah you got to wait a little bit longer to get that legendary perk but trust me having some options for perks is going to be a lot better than not having any options for Perks at all trust me just take my word on it guys and people in the comment section would definitely back me up on that one don't scrap your perk cards too early all right guys this next tip is going to be one that I will admit I did not learn until about I would say December last year that's right still fairly recent so let's say you have your Camp right and you're running a vendor well you probably noticed maybe your vendor's not getting a lot of people popping in well pause the game click on your camp and make sure public map icon is turned on cuz if it's off your Camp is not displayed publicly on the map so as you can see mine's giving out these little these little sonar waves that is letting me know that other players can see my Camp there are tons of people who have vendors that aren't even displayed on the map because they don't know that you have to turn your camp on if you don't turn it on people can't fast travel to your camp and well 90% of the people are not going to find your Camp all right guys the next tip I have for you guys is bobbleheads and magazines so bobbleheads and magazines unlike past Fallout games in this game are not not permanent so if you were like me and you found your first bobblehead and you're like oh cool an intelligent bobblehead let me pop this so my intelligence goes up it only lasts for a set duration of time the same goes with all magazines in the game honestly most of them I would say about 90% of them aren't even worth the Buffs upside from one or two I know like the leader bobblehead is probably the most useful one out of a bunch and there's some there's some magazines that are pretty useful for ranking up and stuff like that but the tip I have for you here is they are not permanent so save them for the situation save them for the situation that you would need them on so don't pop your big guns bobblehead expecting to be good with your minigun the entire time it's only going to last for a fixed duration of time all right let's say you're out camp hopping right well this next tip that I learned the hard way is going to be to scrap your junk before Camp hopping and the reason I say this is because there is a such thing as trap camps in Fallout 76 and what are these trap camps they're normally made by a higher overall player who likes to collect junk so they're looking for easy scrap and stuff like that most of the time they're just AFK in their Camp hanging out a lot of times it's going to be a store that lures you to a very particular narrow hallway or you're going to notice a lot of wires going around from where their vendor is most of the time this is indications of a trap camp and what this is going to do is these trap camps are going to kill you and when you die you're going to drop all your junk and then that player will be there to collect that junk so just make sure you are scraping all your junk before you go camp hopping I have not encountered any trap camps in about a few months I would say I camp hop quite frequently and check out the player stores cuz you never know what you're going to find a player has and I've only come across one trap Camp ever in my entire entirety of playing Fallout 76 and it was quite obviously a trap Camp I was just dumb and went down the hallway so it's not a very common thing a very common occurrence that you might come across one of these but it is not impossible players do like junk obviously free resources people with the influx of new players I have a feeling someone's going to stumble upon the Trap Camp tutorial video on YouTube and we're going to see a number of trap camps coming back especially with the new players coming to Appalachia so just keep that in mind guys and be very careful when you're Camp jumping all right guys and the next tip I learned the hard way is going to be starched genes starched genes you need to have starched genes when it comes to mutations and I'm going to explain why right now so if you pop a radex or rataway there's a chance you're going to lose your current mutation that you have no matter what it is cuz that's just the way it works that's what those chems do so with with starch genes you get to keep your mutation permanently as long as that perk is applied so I learned this the hard way I acquired marsupial that was my first first mutation I had and I got it the hard way by by dying of radiation until I finally got the mutation I wanted once I got more superal I literally I kid you not within 5 minutes popped the rataway or radex whichever one it was I forget which one exactly it was but I remember popping it immediately cuz it was in my quick scroll wheel and I lost the mutation and I didn't realize I lost it until about 5 minutes later and I was like oh damn this this sucks I lost my mutation that I just worked so hard to get especially if you're going especially if you're going to Camp to Camp to buy those serums sometimes they can get a little costly when you get all the ones you want so with that being said guys make sure you have starch jeans on once you go in for mutations and this that that's also going to Pigg you back on the not scrapping perk cards because you might not be using stretch jeans very early on in the game and you might see it and be like Oh I'm never going to use this perk scrap no don't scrap perks all right guys we are now inside the rusty pick because that next tip I learned the hard way is going to bring us to the Rusty pick and this next tip is going to be one that's pretty simple so you're going to walk up to mermar here and you're going to see these crates and they're very enticing I can get a legendary piece of power armor for 120 legendary script well the thing is with this look I'll even buy one right now let's get a a legendary range weapon let's see what we get we got a two- shot Gatlin laser okay this one's actually pretty good um it's it's not God rolls but this is actually a pretty good roll I'm not going to use it but for example a lot of the crates you're going to get are not very good so let's buy another one just so I can prove my point yeah there you go a junkie bow unless you're going for a bow build and you run junkies it's useless so yeah you can resell them the only problem is if you have the guns you currently like spend the script on legendary modules instead these will allow you to roll a legendary mod on them and to get the three star instead of paying 100 legendary script it's going to cost you 150 cuz you need three of them but you still have the we you still have the weapon you like and you can always roll it it's not the end of the world if you do not get the exact roll you want because you can always roll and for our next tip this one is going to be one that I've found out again very unfortunately so I'm actually going to enter my power armor here to show you this next tip and this is going to be about scrapping so whenever you get done raiding an area or completing a mission and you're going to be full of junk right you want to scrap your junk so we're going to run to the nearest bench let's go to this tinkerers workbench right here in the restroom we're going to press X to scrap and look at this I'm scrapping my pre-war money okay and I'm just spamming a spamming a and boom you have your power armor helmets just chilling there right this tip is going to be do not scrap from the new items list so as you can see scrapping through the new items list whenever you have a new weapon if it doesn't have a custom camo or a legendary roll on it most likely it's just going to become it's going to appear in the new log and if you're spamming the a button if you you have a lot of weapons that you just picked up chances are you're going to accidentally scrap it the amount of times I've accidentally scrapped a power armor head I can't even count on one hand if I'm being honest with you I recommend scrolling through weapons when you have to scrap weapons or scrolling over to junk when it's when you're scrapping junk now I know it's tedious to do the extra step but it's one extra step and it's going to save you from losing your power armor helmet which like if you get up to like a t65 and it's going to be costly to get another one all right guys and the next tip I learned the hard way is going to bring me to sight Alpha so if you know where this area is you know what this is about this is where you're going to go to drop a nuke now besides the random yau that you're going to have defending in this area this tip is going to be basically be prepared when time to drop a nuke once you enter The Silo you're going to be attacked by tons and tons of robots so make sure you go in there with some high energy resistance I recommend power armor when running through the bunkers they are going to pile there are tons and tons of laser turret down there you are going to get beamed by laser turrets once you enter that area I highly recommend power armor or if you have very high damage resistance make sure your energy resistance is very high too because they all use energy weapons as you know now with that being said that's not the only part of this tip also make sure when you're dropping a nuke you know where you want to Nuke because once you get to the end of The Silo and you don't actually know where you want to drop a nuke at you're going to be scratching your head wondering okay do I like scorge Beast Queen uh oral uh Ultra sight Titan or do I just want to drop it somewhere where to where I can Farm things I recommend if you're doing multiple nuke runs start with the scorge Beast Queen see how many people join if a lot join then do Earl because Earl you're not going to be able to do unless you have a very high endgame build you're not going to be able to do with very few players you got to fill that Lobby up because there is a player limit for Earl I think it's eight you want to get all eight people in there for Earl because you're G to probably need them the ultrasite Titan you need a little bit more than the scorge Beast Queen but most of people will join the scorge Beast Queen ultrasite Titan no matter what the Earl one you kind of want to test the waters there a little bit with that being said remember too when you enter the nuke Zone which is going to be the big red circle and look guys I actually put it on the screen this time it's on the screen there it is I shout out to those who know I missed to put that in the last tips video where I talked about the nuke Zone but it's right there on the screen see it's there it's there I did it this time guys I did it I did it um anyways once you enter this Zone you're going to gain tons of radiation so be prepared for that bring your chems bring your power armor just be ready to fight off a lot of radiation very quickly so when running the nuclear Silo make sure you have this little trusty thing called the nuclear key card without this you canot actually drop a nuke so they are very easy to come across these days in fact the seasons I believe gives you a ton of them so if you can't get your hands on any of them the seasons have them in here let me check what page it's on yeah guys so they are on the second page of the Season thing you get five so keep that in mind when dropping nukes you're going to need a nuclear key card if you don't have any definitely check player vendors I can't tell you how many of them I have extra of that I just sell in my shop for dirt cheap high level players normally have tons of them so check check high level players vendors they're probably selling them for pretty cheap I wouldn't pay a ton of caps for him but maybe throwing 150 to 200 caps on a nuclear key card isn't the worst thing you can do and the only other thing you're going to need to know guys for dropping the nuke besides running the actual Silo itself is you're going to need that launch code now there is a website you can go to for the launch code I am going to put it in the description down below for you guys I use it all the time because I do not want to go around and look for the launch codes all right guys and that is going to conclude this video I hope these tips helped you guys these are just tips I learned the hard way and these are things I regret doing very early in game because it just makes me face pal I have a lot more of these if you guys want to see more of these let me know in the comment section down below let me know which tips you learned the hard way in the comment section down below I'll probably do a video reading some comments but guys before I leave you thank you all so much for 1,600 subscrib rers what the hell at this time last week I think I was sitting around 250 and at the time I was like wow we were gaining subscribers super fast it just all came in so quickly and the fact that I'm sitting at that number it passed my YouTube channel that I used to make NHL videos on for like 3 to four years I made daily videos on and I never got over 800 subscribers that was my Peak 800 so that was my goal to beat 800 in 6 months and I thought it was going to be possible I would have never thought I would have beat it in not even 6 days guys I I am just going to thank all of you guys for the support you guys have all been very kind in the comments and you guys even have a little bit of fun with the amount of time I say guys or forget to put red circles in the videos but I enjoy all of you guys all the company that stops by means the world to me and thank thank you so much I truly enjoy making these videos and I'm I have so many plans to for more videos for you guys not even just on 76 I have some other videos coming not just tips videos they're coming guys that's going to do it for me today I'll catch you guys in the next one I hope you have an amazing day and as always deuces [Music]
