This video contains a paid advertisement of 'LocknLock cookware.' I went to the grocery store today. Some people say that a job of a mom is to make food through her whole life repeatedly. In some way, it's true. But I've never thought of it as meaningless. I think taking care of the health of my family is the most important task. Just like other housewives think so. How to store large green onions? First of all, I pick a large, healthy green onion root. Green leaves grow when healthy roots are soaked in water. There is a difference in the use of the white and the green part of green onion. The white part of the green onion is used for broth, and the other part is used for cooking. The water in the plastic bottle needs to be changed two or three times a day. Otherwise, it smells.. Cabbage is usually large in size. So, if you cut it, it often turns black. If stored in this way, you can make the color change slightly slower. I moisten a thick paper towel with water and cover this part of the cabbage. You can keep some moisture in the cabbage, so it can stored fresh. Herbs can be kept fresher if there is a little moisture as well. I noramally sprinkle water on a kitchen towel like this. Can you share any useful tips for food storage that you have ? :) I keep most vegetables and fruits out of moisture. Honestly, if I feel tired, I just put the ingredients into the refrigerator without doing anything. I can't store food so perfectly like this every time. However, when I organize them well, I feel like kitchen work seems more fun. Some food need more moisture. When I see water filling a clear glass container, I feel like all of my little worries are washed away. The glass containers are quite useful because I can see the ingredients at a glance. My daughter's favorite fruit If I make strawberry jam, will I be able to taste sweet strawberries for a long time? I cut off the stems of the strawberry and washed them with baking soda. I normally use this when crushing the strawberries. You can use a blender too. strawberry 1: sugar 0.8 If the jam boils, it can overflow. so I prepare a slightly high pot. This yellow color pot goes well with my kitchen I guess :) When the strawberry jam is cooked, I add a tablespoon of lemon extract. home-made strawberry jam :) If you've made strawberry jam, you can't help but think of white bread! When I was a student, I was once lost at Toronto Airport in Canada. I was supposed to transfer to Montreal, but I end up with being in the Toronto Arrivals Hall ! I was so freaked out, but I got a help of airport staff. so I arrived Montreal late at night. I was very tired and fell asleep hungry at the hotel. The next morning, I ate a slice of bread and it was so good! although the bread was very dry, and strawberry jam was an inexpensive syrup from mart :) Since I have a little time today, I plan to prepare dinner in advance. I sprinkle salt on this fish. I will grill them for my daughter's dinner. Me and my husband are going to eat spicy fish stew. I bought the meat that was on sale. Meat should be stored frozen, excluding the amount to be eaten within 3 days. For the rest of the meat, I store it in the refrigerator. One loaf of meat for soup is too much for a family of three. I put the meat in an airtight container with a partition and freeze it. Some meat will be boiled in advance to make a soup for dinner. I add meat, water, and green onion. and simmer for about 30 minutes. While the meat was boiling, I took the pepper and garlic out of the refrigerator. My husband often tells me that I am in the kitchen all day. He advises me to take a break. But I sometimes feel like I am actually taking a break while doing this. because I don't have to think of complicated work. I think my husband will never understand me :) After a few repeats, I become a technician! I can do strength training like this! :D Do you have such an airtight container in your country for garlic? I wonder. Korean cuisine often use minced garlic, so there is an airtight container only for garlic. I've got donuts from next door :) These days my daughter loves the long-sleeved Elsa dress. She wears it every day; but Summer is coming. Would she need another short-sleeved Elsa dress...? time for making dinner already :) When making spicy fish stew, I add clean water washed with rice. It can reduce the smell of fish. First, I put water in the pot and cut the big radish. I will put the large-sliced radish in the fish stew. the small-sliced radish is for the beef soup for my daugher. Since little children can't eat spicy foods, I often have to cook several foods at once. Boil beef soup with radish, minced garlic, green onion, and salt. I use a steam airfryer to grill the salted fish. My daughter likes grilled fish, so I often use the airfryer. stew source: 2T of soy sauce, 2T of red pepper powder, 2T of starch syrup, 2T of Cheongju, 1T of red pepper paste, a little ginger Add green onion and red pepper. after about 20 minutes, it is finished. In the meantime, grilled fish is also completed. I think there is a way to feel love even if you don't say it. It's to sharing your family with healthy dishes. I am saying that I love my family with what I can do :) My husband has been cleaning tulip bulbs from early in the morning. The green onions I cut yesterday have grown this much in one day :) This morning I will make one of my favorite food with eggs. In Korea, this food is prepared often when going on picnics. Today I will cook Gimbap with lots of eggs. This food is not difficult to cook, but it requires to prepare many vegetables. But if you cook the same dish multiple times, you will get skilled up :) I prepared carrots, spinach, eggs, cucumbers. also, the burdock fried in soy sauce and sugar. If rice is seasoned with sesame oil and salt, it tastes much much better. Beautiful color and healthy Gimbap is ready! Today I feel like I'm going on a picnic home. and here is a Gimbap's best friend! It is 'Tteokbokki'. It is the all time favorite food of Korean teenage students. The remaining vegetables, I cut and put them in an airtight container. This is because it can be used for fried rice or other dishes the next day. When I was in college, I often ate Tteokbokki with friends as street food. The sweet and spicy taste of this food relieved my stress :) What foods remind you of your teenage years? In Korea, people might think of Gimbap and Tteokbokki the most :) I hope the day when I can sit down with my old friends and eat Tteokbokki soon. With the mask off! I really miss my old friends now :) In the morning, my husband and I went to the flower market. When I move out next summer, I will really miss my little garden. Many of my subscribers have asked where and when I am moving. In fact, I stopped searching for a house. Detached houses close to the city became too expensive, and I can't get a house far from my husband's company. I can still live in this house for another year, so I plan to look for it again in winter. I just want to enjoy this pretty season now, without much worries :) Today, for my husband sweating in the garden, I prepare a high protein lunch. The steak will be served with mashed potatoes. While the potatoes are being cooked, prepare well-kept vegetables first. Take out the rosemary to be used today, and make rosemary oil for the rest. Add olive oil. This oil is effective in removing the smell of meat. At the current temperature, mold will form on the herb after two days. So, use up all of the oil within two days, and refrigerate any remaining oil. I like to cook often and stay busy. At that time, I feel like I have become a more important person. After crushing the potatoes, add sugar and milk. You can also add corn. Simplest way :) Grill the top, bottom, and sides over high heat for 2 minutes. Sprinkle salt at the same time. And after reducing the heat to medium-low heat, you can cook more deliciously if you cook the meat inside. When the meat is 80% cooked, add a lump of butter and rosemary to cook. Cook the vegetables in the butter and salt left in the frying pan. How do you see it? The meat seems to be ripe! :) If you add rice to meat, it becomes an Asian menu, and if you add mashed potatoes or bread, it becomes a Western menu :) In Korea, a long time ago, eating out in a restaurant was used by the expression 'Using a knife'. It's probably because you didn't cook a lot of menus that use knives at home :) I actually thought the amount of meat was a little too much, but it was just my useless worry. Do you have any idea what have I prepared? :) This Sunday is HAMI's birthday. So I bought a summer Elsa dress. (I have no choice..) My daughter's summer uniform... :D This clothes was sent to me by my sister, and it is made of a very cool material. My summer uniform... :D While I'm folding my clothes, my daughter is showing her a dress to her next door sister :D Cute HAMI! (From the very next day I wore a uniform) After making kimbap yesterday, with the remaining ingredients, I will make tofu sushi. 1.5 cups of water with kelp flakes in it for 30 minutes, Add 2T of soy sauce, 2T of sugar, and 4T of sake (or sake). Now put the tofu and 15 minutes later, turn off the heat when the seasoning is cut and let it cool. Unseasoned tofu is used for sushi or for making hot noodles. The minced beef, which was put in an airtight container yesterday, is also used by frying it in the remaining seasoning. Take out the crab flavored stick from the refrigerator and mix it with mayonnaise. Add 2T of vinegar, 1/2T of salt and 1/2T of sugar to the rice. Mix the chopped ingredients in the rice and you're ready to go :) Cut the tofu simmered in soy sauce to the desired size and make it like a pocket. Put the seasoned rice in it and you're done. Ummm... but I felt something has been missing in this food. Can I get the help of a stalk of parsley I grow indoors? After adding the chopped parsley, the food looks a little tastier. :) Tofu sushi goes well with spicy noodles. Is it my feeling that I feel a little lacking when I eat only one food? Noodles seasoning: 3T vinegar, 2 sugar, 2T red pepper powder, 2T soy sauce, minced garlic, sesame oil, sesame The trick is to add cool watery radish liquid here. The harder time it is, the more precious it is that there is someone to be with you. I spend more time with my family than ever before. Last year, my child rarely went to kindergarten, so I stayed with him all the time, and this year my husband's working hours from home have increased. Even this difficult time will pass someday. I just decided to thank for what was given now. The season has come when it is not awkward to wear short-sleeved clothes. In this season of the year, there are foods that I love to cook. Cooking chicken right away. For chicken, cut off the skin of the fatty part and blanch it once in boiling water. Add leek, jujube and whole garlic. (Add fresh ginseng only if there is one) Wait 45 minutes and the chicken will be cooked thoroughly :) In korea, eating hot chicken soup is said to help overcome summer fatigue. Dinner is almost ready :) Remove any oil floating in the water with a ladle. It helps to improve the taste. A soft chicken dish that my daughter also loves! This is my daughter's favorite chicken leg. So I yield to my daughter. But the chicken wing is mine! :D Peel off the chicken breast, cut it, and make porridge. Add the soaked glutinous rice, chopped carrots, chopped pumpkin, and salt and boil. The warmth of the chicken soup feels as if all of today's fatigue is relieved. I wish you a healthy and enjoyable weekend too :) Thank you for watching to the end!
