Time To Stop Messin' Around!

have you ever wondered where do I touch on a vehicle When I close the door you know sometimes these things you just do it and you automatically don't even think about what you did or how you did it live on a gravel road worh your vehicle let it dry then drive down the gravel road get in and out of your truck a few times you'll know look at the little fingerprints and it's funny even up here I must touch here when I close it I've only been the one that's driven this for the last few days since it's been washed I'm the one that washed it I I I even touch all the way down to here I don't know why I was paying attention to that just something so I can move my lips I guess so oh we're going to head over to Cole's Place it sounds like Samuel will be there in a little bit so I just kind of travel I'm the traveling floater I just go between my place Cole's Place and back and forth back and forth I don't want to be called a floater though but I'm a floater we got Samuel pulling in with his rig we need the Boogie things to be done trucks to fill now I'm horsing around it's taking me forever good morning good morning Samuel how are we doing doing good I bet your morning's better going off better than mine I tell you that oh no you let's see you rotated all the tires yesterday and then this morning you find a nail in it and the truck never left the shop yep I was like are you kidding me sometimes I do feel like the little ground hug doing the same thing over and over and over climbing a ladder with one arm it makes that arm stronger you know sometimes you sit and you think like when you go to these processors and you see 400 600 700 trucks come through a day and then you think down the road is another processor taking the same amount of corn and then 20 M down the road another processor you just wonder where all this corn goes and you would think okay my bins are about empty you just think everybody's bins it be going boom boom boom boom boom empty then we got this huge giant carryover of corn yet Roman is abusive on stuff he broke a thing on Cole's camera yesterday so he's looking for parts good morning morning Roman how are you today not too bad it's going to be a beautiful day yeah beautiful day and 10° tonight yeah cold you always walk beside the semi don't get too close make sure the driver sees you well they're Clos tomorrow we just found out we were going to have a really big week of hauling try to get much corn we just got a text message and I tell you one thing nice about the text message is it lets you know what's going on at the processors and stuff so that's a good deal but now they're going to be closed tomorrow so we won't be hauling corn tomorrow but we'll try to get three loads each driver down today if it works not the end of the world and then tomorrow I could dig some cremation Graves if I have to well the truckers ain't around but we're going to make whatever work work I'm just trying to figure out my day my week sometimes you think one thing and then you realize oh that ain't going to work right now my brain's not working straight seems like tomorrow we have the banker coming out in the morning quick kind of scares a guy last week I see some elevator had some big Big Bend fail it always scares you when things like that happen you kind of look at your own setup and you think did the people that build it do it safe scares you Bo somebody got hurt or something the lawsuits would just open up absolutely huge on something like that mainly if it's a newer setup and things went wrong it wouldn't be pretty I think pretty soon we should be able to open up the door here we'll take a peek it's got to be getting close we got to bring the cords around it won't be too long we'll run the sweep inside it's always a sad feeling when you're getting about out of corn nice and cold in here it's nice looking corn corn it's really really cold this corn lately these last loads I took in or the truckers took in I should say was around 14 and 1 12% moisture so it really looks good ooh that's cold take a look here see how everything's coming out see the corn comes from the the bend up this augur then it goes down the conveyor all the way to the in this turns around underneath takes it goes up this conveyor drops it into that conveyor and then it shoots it along better watch where I'm walking it goes up to this leg over here on the right side and then it takes it up there's a com that goes over to the 5,000 bushel overhead and then that's when we drive the semis under there probably better show you have to apologize then the trucks pull underneath there and that's where we fill the semis ah oh we need to pull the cord around here too if we can get another load out here before we have to start to sweep there's a little door here and then there's a little door there and then eventually we can open I think there's two more doors on the other side of that cord so we will be able to eventually walk out to PL in the sweep I'll show you as we go last year we were getting a few more cobs in the combine than we would like but overall you can see it's pretty clean oh let's make sure we don't trip here guys oh we better close that door in case the wind picks up oh it's one thing I like about this trailer makes it simple reach in here this is the trailer which one should I use today yeah I think I'll use this one for the skid loader we got a couple cremation Graves to dig but this is nice push a button goes down oh I got to go forward that might go oh I'm working so hard one thing when you're pulling these trailers around and stuff you always want to make sure to hook the safety chains that way if something comes undone I know probably wouldn't like this thing jerking the truck around but it keeps the trailer from going off the other side of the road and maybe hitting a car or something I'm going down a gra a road right now we got Levi he's back for another load oh my nose itches who's thinking about [Music] me the wind is starting to pick up you can just feel it but the temperature is rising too you look up at the sky it almost feels like you're going to fall [Music] over that look all right Levi yep that's good okay we got her one nice thing with the radio you can talk back and forth to the trucker he's got gauges in his rig so you can kind of see how full we are there's that new electric roll tarp goes down and then it folds up and it's tight they're coming in like bees on honey well this is nice cuz when you're over here when one truck pulls in and another truck pulls in that's really nice I'm here we can get them loaded get them on the road they're making money right now time to go fill up Samuel we had like 10,000 bushel at this time going for this week Samuel thought he was supposed to haul all that in he forgot that we got the other driver too so it relieved some pressure on them I really should try to get an office desk or something here in this little tiny house or maybe some fireproof filing cabinet or something sometimes like right now I'm waiting like a half hour 20 to minutes to a half hour waiting for another semi well there ain't enough time to really run home start something in the shop I got everything full here now I guess if I had a little office table or something over here I could be doing some work work doing something and I still one of these days I'm going to get a TV in here so just kind of hanging around in here sometimes just to have a little sound little something to watch Netflix YouTube that kind of stuff one thing has been hard though I'll be honest hanging around like now I know oh I got 20 minutes I get hungry I think I'm hungry and then I want to go to the fridge I want to grab some junk food I've been I've been doing really really good on that not going I haven't had a pop in a long time I haven't had ice cream there's some frozen pizzas in there I haven't done that and it's hard I've been trying to drink a lot more water which I always drink a lot of water but before it was always so easy to go to the fridge get a Mountain Dew and I got Mountain Dew sitting down there and I haven't opened it I'm not going to open it it's kind of more for if company stops by or if we're having a business meeting if they want to have a pop but I've been grabbing the old water bottle why is food so good we got Roman he's done working in the house for tonight but I'm going to go dig a grave he's a wild man he's a wild [Music] man
