TIM COLEMAN: How to ride over logs on Enduro bike

my name's Tim Coleman I'm quickly just going to run through how to properly write over a log using the punch technique what you want to do is halfway up the log punch your front wheel into it so it gives you good compresses the suspension and gives you a good lift so you can carry that bash plate over without you going over the bars the combination of using the clutch and throttle at the same time so once you pick it up it's a lot easier on a trails by but I'll just quickly demonstrate for you so as I was saying before anybody tonight over a log smacking into it but if you can sort out this technique it's going to help you it's going to be a great technique so come across logs like this you want to get over it you've got to have this technique so it's all that punch in the front wheel you want to punch it hard using the throttle and the clutch compressing the suspension and get it on that back wheel clear in that bash plate if you hit the bash plate it's going to send your over over the bars another technique to write over a log is using your sump we use this if the log is suited for it so if you come across an angle draft in the angled log in the bush and you want to use the Sun plate it's not going to happen it's going to spit you right off so you only want to do this technique if the log is nice and round and you want to go super slow what you do is pop the front wheel up get it nice and high using the rear brake to pop you right onto the bash plate you
