T.I. Speaks On Confronting Kanye West For His Donald Trump Support

make sure that the collective is properly represented that's it and whatever I could do man you know I'm saying I'm just on behalf of those who can't organize mobilize and do it themselves I mean I'm honored to do so I forgot about something and I thought this morning I think a couple days ago was the one-year anniversary of when used by the square with the LAPD and for whatever reason one year you did so life in the police work for us man I pay my taxes man you work for me what's happening you know and that's how that's how that's hi tend to treat it you've always had a ready to die attitude that for whatever reason I'm going away no I was willing today just a fair and just cause something worthy I mean man I think if a person they found and they willing to die for 10 feet to live you did and I mean you know saying I think that as a youngster those you know those things were kind of a lot more Cavalier and frivolous those things that was ready to die for you know you know ready to die about this trap you know you know that about this dope there's this little money you know I'm a dad buy my car [ __ ] try to take you know that kind of [ __ ] and I think as I grew up and I'm a toward and life taught me lessons you know from losses I learned like you know the [ __ ] is really important it's like you know your family your children I mean yo yo yo yo your freedom your respect and inequalities I don't like this was truly important I think your kids are a great representation of how well you've raised them actually just to see how great they are as people I saw you know your daughter talking about ok I don't need no man cuz my dad and just seeing all your kids though because they all seem like great kids like the prom yes they are in they're all like I've said this a thousand times they all like different extensions of me they all took on a different part of my personality and you like you know how people say you know we don't know what T is this one minute is this one minute so they all took on different versions of me you know and and and I mean I'm just impressed at the way that they have taken a part of me and kind of elevated you know what Dad said is one of them a hothead yeah okay what a major will be major he's not a talker he rationalizes will force you how do you control that though um you know for real just just proper discernment you know little notice ain't just the fact that you are able to to you know use hostility in your failure to solve problems that don't mean that you resort to that you know that's that's when you've ran out of options yes you've clearly given up on the situation when you do that so you know I just find you know just motivating exercises mine and it's stronger than any of his physical force could be and plus the environment he's in is not like yours so it's not gonna put more fuel on the fire mmm I mean I'm saying every human being going through life has confidence how you resolved that conflict is what makes you who you are everybody glad cause I don't care how well-to-do you are or how you know I die or your circumstances may be more just because where you come from and jealousy is real you know all my children I've seen all my children go through that I've seen all of them go today and I've seen them all handling you know saying in different ways King is a fighter you know he handed his dedicating a lot of my time to you know developing and cultivating new talents I like that you go hard and you were always with them everywhere which I think it's important because there's a lot of artists that have people signs to them and working with them but you don't see them stand behind them or next to them sure but we're family like I've always seen it man and I really believe in what they have to offer contribute to the culture so that's why you know that's why I invest my time after the energy into it and I will continue to do so I think people forget sometimes you know even even I would say myself and in his heart because I'm a DJ and I mean I was raised off for early tea I until you hear the a verse to people and then you hear a the way you spitting you know what you say what what I said what you said yesterday but I think I may be done behind the scenes you sound like oh dear he not only rapping it's like you're telling a story and I'm sitting in mesmerized do the story where it's like it you really like I know you really meant it built it like I feel like I'm nanny and even a scratch I did but I felt it even more with that record I mean yeah man I'm so glad that you did that because I've been so irritated like so irritated to the point where I don't even really want to listen to what he's saying but then when I seen you was on the track I said okay I story so I go and continue on past it but I hit him and said hey yo let me get with you you know saying I want to get with you whenever I can and he immediately hit me back it was like I bet I have my people call and you know the said of me and this is after the Trump absolute lose right around the time when John Legend you know saying like you know and I'm like oh but I didn't want to say that over the phone can I have an opportunity to go see him I'm not gonna you know I'll have a discussion over the phone so I just waited until I got there and I got there and you know saying it's a huge complex of compound when you know you know get me in you know we walk past security and whatnot and he takes me into you know his showrooms and you know you see all the new Yeezys and season four out of season 13 14 right and and now I'm thoroughly impressed you know saying I congratulate him I know he's working hard I'm coming I'm thoroughly impressed I like I want to be like yo when that went them come out with two you must stay focused on a mission you must stay focused and so we go on into the room well you know everybody was sitting in music not and so he says you know he starts saying you understand you kind of understand his logic and where he come you don't agree with it I emphatically disagree like if you said I love Trump you don't mean he loved trumpet policies guys kind of like you like that I love fried chicken you know think of him as a person he thinking of yeah the thing there whatever that for Sears in any say well he has dragon energy I have dragon energy like that was like the beginning of the conversation right so I'm just hearing him throw all these parables in like the man speaking and kind of like riddles and [ __ ] you know because we can't really explain he can't explain the [ __ ] going on in his head yeah but at the more he talked it out he kind of get around to it so by time we had sat down in the room with everyone else he kind of got around to trying like he could kind of convey because you know that when I say because he said well I don't agree with everything he's saying I don't agree with half of the stuff he says I said okay your views are there's gonna be people who don't agree with you sure part of having free thought is I have the free thoughts and not agree with you yes I feel like you can be free think if you part of a political party because you're gonna have some of their part you gonna walk that party line regardless of which one you are I believe both of these dishes Mena I that both of these parties have like a theme and they have like you know itemized action items and agendas under that thing I feel like the Democrats thing is everybody do a little something to help everybody you know I mean the Republicans thing is make money make everyone do for self you know and that is the thing so if you believe in the principle if the core of your fundamental principles is you feel like you know you know those of us who live above average have a responsibility for those who live below average like I do and that make me a Democrat yeah I don't know we believe in everything that Democrats say and some of the things that the Republicans having to push through that have a positive effect on my background I do appreciate but the fundamental principles of my core values push me into the Democratic Party now what I will not do and I don't think we can't allow to continue to have this happen we cannot continue to just this freely just push our boat over there without holding someone accountable and having some consideration given to the needs that we have that we have that must be met for us to progress in some instances you know I might vote Democrat for president and Republican for my city official who know it just depends on the actual the principles of the person absolutely we have to you have to involve ourselves in the political process we got to listen we need people speaking because they speaking about things that affect you in your daily life if it's a Republican it won't they want to you know legalize marijuana so well I'm both for Jersey I know you gotta go I got a order I just would like to have a conversation to see if there's anything that can be done in the community and could you have the conversation if I could bring Farrakhan okay I'm a brain somebody smarter than me I'm either him or you know somebody got to come just make sure this [ __ ] going the way you know me I ain't you gonna have somebody there hmm you know somebody that is probably giving Semi off topic: I wish Ye and Tip would collab more. Kanye is a composer to me. As far as rapping and delivery, it doesn’t get much better than T.I. in my opinion. T.I.’s not the most creative artist, but I think he can spit with the best.
