Semi off topic: I wish Ye and Tip would collab more. Kanye is a composer to me. As far as rapping and delivery, it doesn’t get much better than T.I. in my opinion. T.I.’s not the most creative artist, but I think he can spit with the best.

[Music] you're watching The Breakfast Club [Music] morning everybody is DJ envy Angela Yee Charlemagne to God we are The Breakfast Club we got a special guest in the building the people interrupting our tea I had to become the voice of the people over the past few years yeah I mean it's an honor you know I mean I I mean I've always considered myself a voice for the voiceless but you know if Santa have other people besides me considered yeah you know is actually dope but on some real live revolutionary activists this who you call when you want to shut down a restaurant or to man I just want to make sure that the collective is properly represented that's it and whatever I could do man you know I'm saying I'm just on behalf of those who can't organize mobilize and do it themselves I mean I'm honored to do so I forgot about something and I thought this morning I think a couple days ago was the one-year anniversary of when used by the square with the LAPD and for whatever reason one year and one year anniversary you in the game well I thought it'd been longer than that and I said was the year whoa and I never I don't I don't remember seeing that particular video where you telling the police you'll have to beat up a lot of us make a real revolution I'm a man you know saying I'm not gonna just stand there witness you know no no brothers being mistreated back you know at the hands of some some public service workers you know I'm saying I'm not gonna do that you know as a citizen we all have rights and and and you know the violation that overwrites come when you don't know you have you did so life in the police work for us man I pay my taxes man you work for me what's happening you know and that's how that's how that's hi tend to treat it you've always had a ready to die attitude that for whatever reason I'm going away no I was willing today just a fair and just cause something worthy I mean man I think if a person they found and they willing to die for 10 feet to live you did and I mean you know saying I think that as a youngster those you know those things were kind of a lot more Cavalier and frivolous those things that was ready to die for you know you know ready to die about this trap you know you know that about this dope there's this little money you know I'm a dad buy my car [ __ ] try to take you know that kind of [ __ ] and I think as I grew up and I'm a toward and life taught me lessons you know from losses I learned like you know the [ __ ] is really important it's like you know your family your children I mean yo yo yo yo your freedom your respect and inequalities I don't like this was truly important I think your kids are a great representation of how well you've raised them actually just to see how great they are as people I saw you know your daughter talking about ok I don't need no man cuz my dad and just seeing all your kids though because they all seem like great kids like the prom yes they are in they're all like I've said this a thousand times they all like different extensions of me they all took on a different part of my personality and you like you know how people say you know we don't know what T is this one minute is this one minute so they all took on different versions of me you know and and and I mean I'm just impressed at the way that they have taken a part of me and kind of elevated you know what Dad said is one of them a hothead yeah okay what a major will be major he's not a talker he rationalizes will force you how do you control that though um you know for real just just proper discernment you know little notice ain't just the fact that you are able to to you know use hostility in your failure to solve problems that don't mean that you resort to that you know that's that's when you've ran out of options yes you've clearly given up on the situation when you do that so you know I just find you know just motivating exercises mine and it's stronger than any of his physical force could be and plus the environment he's in is not like yours so it's not gonna put more fuel on the fire mmm I mean I'm saying every human being going through life has confidence how you resolved that conflict is what makes you who you are everybody glad cause I don't care how well-to-do you are or how you know I die or your circumstances may be more just because where you come from and jealousy is real you know all my children I've seen all my children go through that I've seen all of them go today and I've seen them all handling you know saying in different ways King is a fighter you know he handed his straight up that goes to the bathroom I mean that's how he is and he don't care how big a person is which is commendable but at the same time you got a the other apply some strategy to you know force so he took the old five nine with the heart he got a conflict he the smallest though you know he got his mama's height you know so I think that because of that I think people deal with him a certain way too he not willing to itself I think in his own he feels like he gotta go that much harder you know and compensate for the difference in height and weight you think the kids make you think twice about uh you know how you tend to move like absolutely man has been doing they've been doing that since you know since they were born but as I got older it's just you know service I just saw that I wasn't willing to take no more mmm you know now we're for the right reason but it got to be the right man ain't gonna be me and you arguing in the club and you know I'm saying I'm feeling father your old man do something to you that's gonna send me to jail you know I mean I'm nothing to go I wouldn't go off with it oh no not no conversation you know saying you you you you violate me I am one of mine is on the menu about musical are you are you still in love with the music with with the new forms of streaming and Jeezy retire you still in it the same way and feelin it the same way absolutely I do absolutely I do and I mean I just they put in an effort yeah the damn trap he is coming I got tons of music and I record every day why haven't you put in a note um man I really just waiting to feel like it like the work that go with putting out an album I got so many other things I got going on as far as like you know producing and developing television shows and foster gang I was dedicating a lot of my time to you know developing and cultivating new talents I like that you go hard and you were always with them everywhere which I think it's important because there's a lot of artists that have people signs to them and working with them but you don't see them stand behind them or next to them sure but we're family like I've always seen it man and I really believe in what they have to offer contribute to the culture so that's why you know that's why I invest my time after the energy into it and I will continue to do so I think people forget sometimes you know even even I would say myself and in his heart because I'm a DJ and I mean I was raised off for early tea I until you hear the a verse to people and then you hear a the way you spitting you know what you say what what I said what you said yesterday but I think I may be done behind the scenes you sound like oh dear he not only rapping it's like you're telling a story and I'm sitting in mesmerized do the story where it's like it you really like I know you really meant it built it like I feel like I'm nanny and even a scratch I did but I felt it even more with that record I mean yeah man I'm so glad that you did that because I've been so irritated like so irritated to the point where I don't even really want to listen to what he's saying but then when I seen you was on the track I said okay I know T I ain't gonna let this slide cause I can't see ya know I never talked about to make America great again yeah you know I'm feeling again you know I ain't going for it I mean man you know look that the director actually happened it was the fastest record I've ever recorded in my life you know saying it happened at the end of a four hour long discussion we were having I'm sure there were a lot more things you could have been saying on that song oh man I mean I I mean I said you know I said that but the discussion happened from the time I got there up into the time we started a cool let's talk about the discussion you seen it's Twitter rampage no no no you got ya hand talk da man since uh since friendly since I got out of prison like we did the record for no mercy and then I had you know probably had spoke to him but since I probably got out of prison I was six seven years yes I'm like that I mean you know I don't know if he may have seen each other in passing uh but I hadn't you know we hadn't had a actual conversation and you know quite some time so we happened to see each other at home at a hotel you know tell la ba la I was there for me and he was there for me and he came over spoke to me and you know you know you know so then immediately a mission let's work you know me several times you said that means I mean you are here for a reason he said he's Express that to me but um so you know I said let's work you said yeah bit he gave me his number he put out a phone and it was all right because I I never knew him to have a phone I remember like it was a big deal when we were recording and why did you know not you ain't got no phone you don't do no phones so he got like now you got a phone with an iPhone Android overcome I'm certain it was I'm certain it was a half anyway so you know exchanged numbers he back about his meeting I went back about mines in that night you know I went to the studio and you know after I left him I started seeing the stuff you know he just started popping up and then so by the next morning by the next morning I uh I got on the phone with him again you know another weird turn of events that is not really relevant to the story so I go and continue on past it but I hit him and said hey yo let me get with you you know saying I want to get with you whenever I can and he immediately hit me back it was like I bet I have my people call and you know the said of me and this is after the Trump absolute lose right around the time when John Legend you know saying like you know and I'm like oh but I didn't want to say that over the phone can I have an opportunity to go see him I'm not gonna you know I'll have a discussion over the phone so I just waited until I got there and I got there and you know saying it's a huge complex of compound when you know you know get me in you know we walk past security and whatnot and he takes me into you know his showrooms and you know you see all the new Yeezys and season four out of season 13 14 right and and now I'm thoroughly impressed you know saying I congratulate him I know he's working hard I'm coming I'm thoroughly impressed I like I want to be like yo when that went them come out with two you must stay focused on a mission you must stay focused and so we go on into the room well you know everybody was sitting in music not and so he says you know he starts saying you know I got some things on you know I want to play for you watch it here see can't wait to do it the first let me speak to you so we stepped I said has a discussion that's when I was just like yo you know what's up man I'm sure you have you know the very logical explanation to all these like what's happening what's the punch and you give him the benefit of the doubt at this con you like what's got so I'm just gonna make all this make sense in my head I just got to here right so let's here go let's go and he say man just being a free thinker man think about like be a free thing you like ma'am just just feel free you know I just felt free to think whatever it is that my mind leads me to think without some minor list monolithic view of what society wants me to think what's up with the head bro any like man my subconscious spoke to my conscious and it just moved me to wear the hat like to like my lie below like you know the Hat represent he's like not when I wear it though yeah you wanna like just like we did the word [ __ ] we took the power from the world and now we use the word as our own I say yeah they're not the same that's not the same bro cuz America's never been grateful minorities right but just yeah but just imagine just imagine like right now I'm really like looking and I'm trying not to trip I want to get dude I'm trying and plus it's Kanye he doesn't seem like malicious not at all yeah you know I mean it seems extremely sincere and passionate not a publicity is done no I don't seem like he's ninety do is see like many man Jay woke up on some [ __ ] one day [ __ ] not now I didn't get no signs and no right no no inebriated state about politics you see what's going on when it comes I don't know man but but what I do know is I asked him two things right I see it oh and dad waited before asking is he said yo you know this is just like I went out on tour with Thalia Crowley and war rockefeller chain and they booed me when I came out on stage for wearing a chain I was a backpacker like as far as my style but but it's like being flying flashy as that sight it wasn't accepted at the time and people had to come around I say bro do you really think that is the same thing hmm he's like yeah wow I see no need to say anything you know and then you know at least said I say we'll look man have you thought about the people who supported you that you hurt when you put that on and then he looked different you know saying he looked at me kind of like I could see an epiphany you know he was like hurt someone for having my own opinion I say yeah people believe in you and they see you as a certain way and then you go and they support you and you support someone who goes directly against them like you supporting the enemy so you do you think I day feels like no I didn't really I didn't think about that but I can see any faith he was like I don't want any what I ain't mean to do that he knows I won't speak to him but he actually hit me and say Amen T I said I'm hurting people in my heart and you okay yeah you talk to her whatever you say keep saying because you gotta think people telling me what he can't do right I didn't him keep him to keep pushing and making it that's what got us Jesus whoa yes nobody was doing the song like Jesus well everybody I told him man you tripping with that one he like okay watch this you know I'm saying yeah with the same Brazilian energy that but then he but when he say his subconscious talked to his conscious and it moved him to do something like I disagree with it with the last thing I'm gonna ever do it tell somebody not to listen to themselves if it's something inside of yourself saying to do some even if I don't agree with it I don't I don't feel comfortable telling someone to listen to me over listening to themselves domani we're to make America great again what is he not seeing is people around them I mean I don't even think he's even challenged this idea of this idea has been challenged aside from when it hit the air you know what I'm saying like the fact that it moved me and run out and I refuse I agree as the black delegation cannot afford to lose Kayne way to keep it out I'm keeping our without nest that was my like that with my a pro I'm like nah hell nah we can't Nami can't do that and I know he's influential but I didn't realize how influential people crying over there like people literally on he is I will Michael Jackson like just play Pierre and I feel like the same consideration we give my good Jeff first of all we're talking about car you SUV yes is very very minute ah man a minuscule percentage of the population of the earth that speaks the language of Kanye West right the things that covered too is mine once it hit the air it probably don't sound the same to the person every [ __ ] who listening to it as it did in his heat right so he needs kind of like a translator for real this he need somebody around him who he could sing say stuff to and then they could say what he's saying is he trying to do this and I mean if you just take seconds of him speaking and play it sounds preposterous mm-hmm but if you listen to him over span 3-4 hours you understand you kind of understand his logic and where he come you don't agree with it I emphatically disagree like if you said I love Trump you don't mean he loved trumpet policies guys kind of like you like that I love fried chicken you know think of him as a person he thinking of yeah the thing there whatever that for Sears in any say well he has dragon energy I have dragon energy like that was like the beginning of the conversation right so I'm just hearing him throw all these parables in like the man speaking and kind of like riddles and [ __ ] you know because we can't really explain he can't explain the [ __ ] going on in his head yeah but at the more he talked it out he kind of get around to it so by time we had sat down in the room with everyone else he kind of got around to trying like he could kind of convey because you know that when I say because he said well I don't agree with everything he's saying I don't agree with half of the stuff he says I said okay well what do you agree with right and he said without of coming from nothing in nobody says you can do it and you become the president I don't show the equivalent to Kris Jenner becoming the president yeah of the United States a very privileged individual nice man did you hear what I said it would be like Kris Jenner being the president of the United States so how did it end you said that what like so how did it end that he finally get it said I mean I got him - we had it at a point where he was like we'll look maybe I should just change something on the head and make it my own I say yes yes that's what you should do that's it and did he say but no no no no that wouldn't get me like that without with it that wouldn't prove my point is what he said and I don't think he understand the objects of the situation because you don't you don't understand how diet is situational nothing about Trump's policies he said yeah ask me I said a man was so how you feel about the travel ban you say what's the travel base exactly I said come on bro you can't do this you can't do this man you can't side with somebody and you say you leading with love I if you love in this man is hurting all the people what make him so much worth so much love to wear it called these people so much pain and then he sat down I gotta figure that out and then he start thinking and then he was like but if hmm you know they're like yeah he's trying to reconfigure his approach you did and a lot of kids too because he's like I love him I mean just be just look he loves to talk he loves if Donald Trump would have made it the way he is the way he made it and and you know he defied our eyes and he was really a decent human being you know if that were the case because in his mind that's you know that's kind of how it is you don't really know nothing he don't know the things that we know because he's removed himself from society to the point where it don't reach him you say just thought about you see anything started watch the same and he say even when trouble I mean Obama was in the White House he'd never watch CNN and nothing he just started watching no no actually makes it more dangerous the fact that you're uninformed and you using your platform to spread this not a genius of them said all right well let's do a song like the how did this all come about merica we were talking for four hours about the same thing never but it was very enlightening discussion I feel like you know I learned a lot I learned a lot you know about him and you know about his his commitment to personal growth he's truly committed and whatever that is like he feel like he on a personal journey just give him he's like man look man just give me a minute I'm ihling something I'm work let me you know let me figure out what it is you know don't be so quick to just cut me out I'm not a white supremacist I don't agree with white supremacy I say but you are supporting one you wearing a flag you are wearing the flag he's like but imagine what a white supremacist thinks about it when I wear it he'll want me to take it off I say man so do we and I'm like do him a favor just take it out cool we want you to take it out here but and then he's like man maybe you you want me to take it off and then want me to take it out is enough to bring y'all closer together like man listen man listen man ain't my brothers coming with a love lead with love Martin Luther King you know early Martin Luther King my Luther King before he got to see was really really smart before he's now and and I'm more Malcolm X a lot more Malcolm X so well I I don't I don't apply love to those that don't deserve it must be reciprocated it must be earned first and then reciprocated I ain't you loving for the sacred yeah I mean I got children and family to love ain't just love and no hate for strangers I don't know why black people we don't only people they tell to do that we don't want that love it we got a love going for this give our price ain't going for it ain't going for it how did this all come about whose idea was it like okay yeah well I mean you know saying like I was saying man so you know got to you know to the to the point where we've been going back and forth for quite some time and we would start talking about music he played the scoop scooby-doo boot and I say man you're just toying with people now you got to stop like why are you doing this and he's like nah man it was like what if I go boo boo stop it man when I said what the [ __ ] is this and he told me all the reference track even though I think the shock of the people in the room every time he played it is what made him keep it I think you know heard yo y'all seen that that Dave Chappelle stand-up on Netflix the one where he says he says you know the reason why I really want to quit company cuz I'm too damn good at you know saying I can say any Joe any punchline and you know y'all gonna laugh right I feel like that's how Kanye what I do I'm nothing like I ain't pushing myself I'm not bringing the best out of myself because anything I do you accept it and love it because people were like I love this choice yeah scoop scoop [ __ ] is gonna be a genre now I could do without I feel like I did not care for however he plays some other [ __ ] is completely like jamming on the one hand yeah you know so he played that first one for a reason right because he could have played any of these other songs that I heard that was jamming like and then afterwards he I was yeah I think I asked him if he had any beats but something like that he was like well I got this one song and you know what I'm already kind of saying my part maybe we could you know it's kind of one sided maybe you could do your part in between my parts I was like all right cool but then when I started doing my part he's just erased our literature started from the top so none of the stuff he told me he had to he keep he just like started all the way over we just fished out back and forth and it only took about 30 30 to 45 minutes and it's interesting how God worked okay when I heard the record I was like anybody gonna take this publicity tonight yeah I mean I'll just recorded it laughs yeah we released it in 24 hour you didn't know you put it up I didn't know see I did the song right I'm thinking after I leave he gonna play the song I bet you don't hear me talking you know is there i'ma still be talking to him while I'm gone and then he gonna hear what I'm saying like that she gonna race it you put the song out the next day give you a heads-up nothing not even Timmy number I mean I don't know if he put it out he said it got leaked with the boycott you've been staging with Houston's in there how do you know the time to let up off a business we we resolve our issues you know I mean we mediate we come to the table we sit down and have a discussion you know I'm saying I speak for the collectors the greater good of the collectors and their list of demands and requesting you know we come from i back and forth and finally we shake hands on an agreed-upon resolution here you know everybody walk away a little happy you know they're happier than they were before they walked in that's the goal to make a change yeah absolutely and you also have your competition series on bt yeah man the grant hosted the basically Bearden's competition show where I just got a bunch of cats man song who were formally educated and Ivy League schools and some who were like hustles from the streets and I put them all in the house together they made a compete man you know and the winner of the competition gets a six-figure salary and a position on Grand Hustle roster that is the artist though as an executive Wow if you like more than one person and they might be assets to there's only one there's only one salary [Laughter] yeah come Angela yeah that person's already working for you know I know I can't have them work for me that we have like contest like contestant rules that we gotta abide by so I can't have them to work for me until the final episode so everybody won't know what made you want to give them an executive job instead of making them daughter I got enough artists yeah you know if anything my infrastructure needs needs needs strengthening because the Empire is ever expensive so we continue to diversify and everybody is doing multiple jobs what we need is another strong executive who can create you know more opportunities and have you know more forward-thinking ideas and even be the arms legs and boots on the ground to kind of facilitate and execute some of this stuff necessary to keep all this [ __ ] of flow you see some qualities that make somebody a strong executive well I think that for one you have to be willing to accept accountability and hold yourself responsible you know I mean you got to do that because everybody has certain tasks and responsibilities and if we don't it will execute on those and deliver on those then collectively the Empire will struggle there gonna be more work on the net person and you know less less deliverables men let's checks to be a gotten in and you can't really maximize on the on the potential of all the opportunities you have now let's go back to the music right sure and what are we doing when are we getting a TI solo album yeah you said it's done yeah yeah it's back done it's back then I'm going into a comb-over others actually damn Emmylou she got a record is dope me and me and G's you got a record is dope me and meek Shh let me see here have you seen now I'm going at that lis here actually yeah who else I get I got you know so I got records with a lot of people but I'm not sure which records I'm going to actually keep for the project go watch the duck Jesse from watch the gossip for real records is a [ __ ] dope are you gonna do Philly after you leave here yeah I'm gonna go down there check out my little bro man I'm happy to see him back out and you know I'm saying how they flew him you know straight into the to the Philly game yeah yeah man feel good the first three somebody campaign I see you working my life that it was a travesty it was a travesty and I'm talking about it it really it throws mud in the face of what we call American democracy you know I'm saying it shows so much bias you know what I mean so such an abuse of power and it just reeks of privilege you know I'm saying I hate it I hate it I hate it had to happen to him as well what do you think about the concept of free thought I appreciate the concept of free thought and you know even the fact he feel like along with chance they say that everybody does black ain't got to be a Democrat to be conservative either but I mean man look man even if you want to be conservative that she'll be in as man just be a decent human being that's all you know be fair and just and considerate and thoughtful to other people who occupy this planet with you I mean don't be so conceited and rude and just arrogant and egregious with your thoughts thinking that you're the only person that matters or people like you are the only people that matter on this planet like that's just a poor excuse of horrible waste of space of a human being you know I mean so it don't matter I don't care what your views is you know I mean just be decent and no matter what your views are there's gonna be people who don't agree with you sure part of having free thought is I have the free thoughts and not agree with you yes I feel like you can be free think if you part of a political party because you're gonna have some of their part you gonna walk that party line regardless of which one you are I believe both of these dishes Mena I that both of these parties have like a theme and they have like you know itemized action items and agendas under that thing I feel like the Democrats thing is everybody do a little something to help everybody you know I mean the Republicans thing is make money make everyone do for self you know and that is the thing so if you believe in the principle if the core of your fundamental principles is you feel like you know you know those of us who live above average have a responsibility for those who live below average like I do and that make me a Democrat yeah I don't know we believe in everything that Democrats say and some of the things that the Republicans having to push through that have a positive effect on my background I do appreciate but the fundamental principles of my core values push me into the Democratic Party now what I will not do and I don't think we can't allow to continue to have this happen we cannot continue to just this freely just push our boat over there without holding someone accountable and having some consideration given to the needs that we have that we have that must be met for us to progress in some instances you know I might vote Democrat for president and Republican for my city official who know it just depends on the actual the principles of the person absolutely we have to you have to involve ourselves in the political process we got to listen we need people speaking because they speaking about things that affect you in your daily life if it's a Republican it won't they want to you know legalize marijuana so well I'm both for Jersey I know you gotta go I got a question for you mm-hmm I got two more what rap music hey listen man let me ask you a question we need not ask questions we already know the answer to you did the word trap had never been coupled with the word music to make a phrase before August 19th 2003 nobody can ever show you anyone saying trap music you could say people were talking about trap people were talking about Senator listen man people were playing that lets you guitar before rock'n'roll but daddy make it rock n roll we made it like a roll was a [ __ ] say this is rockin you coz so I think that you know that is that's a frivolous discussion when we have bigger fish to fry you know I have bigger fish to fry I think did my purpose is greater to talking about who created something that I know I created and and I have you know since transcended you know I'm saying but i'ma give you an example then ask you a question okay what's the number one phone in the world right now is everybody okay iPhone now as great as the iPhone is and as much as everybody like it you you can never say this is the first cell phone right you can ever say that right you can't take away from the Motorola flip flow you can't take away from the next hancher big block how much phone man you must pay homage to what lay it up to because the reason the iPhone became the iPhone it because they didn't have to go back and research out his technology they all these other phones before them had done it same thing yeah if I hadn't done what I done it was at least taking you a whole lot longer you know I mean to get with you in and it wouldn't be the same it just wind I think you made it a genre it just went I mean I didn't creates anything that happened after that is under that mmm period and that's that on there not to but I will say is interesting because I find that there is a common type of people who have this argument you know saying it's a common kind of like three that kind of binds them y'all remember the wire right yeah you got some cats who are more fond of Avon Barksdale and his methods you have some cats with more fond of stringer Bell you know so cats who feel like they know Avon Barksdale you know I'm saying grind me into good or get it that you live dirt under your fingernails you know the keys with the blood stain on it you know that you know that just keeping it real you know those cats they tend to go over that way with the other guy and the cats who feel like we have elevated level of success that allows us to diversify our portfolio and not have to you know subject ourselves to such inconveniences like life in prison or casket you know and we take this year and we build upon it and grow and take it to some men and those people kind of err on the side of me so you'll never convince a a von Bock's dear supporter that stringer Bell is you know more effective that's just like a principle within you so that's what you had didn't have what you had but thanks effects and that is that you play them Doughboy than the trap from I'm serious Amen I can't the the work thing I could do manage it I sound stupid trying to convince people to something so simple yeah it like if I tell you [ __ ] I tell you a man the son is that side shining the sun is shining that's what's lighting the whole thing up and you like northern the more I argue with you about something so obvious the Dumber I give so i'ma let them have it I have elevated the discussion - [ __ ] - yay versus the people that is the discussion right now this discussion has already paid we passed that with two quick questions now what's your title with kitchen lands bottoms cuz you want huh yeah me and killer Mike on the transition team and for mayor Keisha Lance bottoms and it's an honor and a privilege to work alongside her I've this is my first transition team but you know say I see how passionate she is and how where she is of the need of certain communities because she comes she's a product of the community and I serve on the jobs and opportunity subcommittee and also the affordable housing subcommittee and I believe Mike serves on I know who we serve on jobs and opportunity together and I believe he may have another one I don't know which one and a Donald Trump what about him he comes to Atlanta and he says I would like to meet with one of the leaders of the black delegate the black order I just would like to have a conversation to see if there's anything that can be done in the community and could you have the conversation if I could bring Farrakhan okay I'm a brain somebody smarter than me I'm either him or you know somebody got to come just make sure this [ __ ] going the way you know me I ain't you gonna have somebody there hmm you know somebody that is probably giving him the lowdown on me and what I'm saying so I'm gonna take somebody with me and the conversation before anything start look first of all what's with the blame disregard ever spitting my people let's talk about that we can't move forward to do nothing together I can't even look at you out of I we can't usually if it ain't a mutual respect then we can't go nowhere and you've been disrespecting enough from the jump so what's happening hmm and hi he answered that gonna depend how the rest of the meeting go if he walks in with a hat you smacking a hat off we had to get some done look I'm gonna be yeah but I ain't going by myself the thing that I say happen somebody are gonna be able to go ahead ain't going by myself good day how you sit you up he'll come out and say yes he told me that we were buddies and that we were going to eat chicken wings but I mean I think that somebody got to be at the table that way you know it's a night I think even if we spent all this time like informing Kanye you know and trying to equip him as best as we can to make a more rational decision even if he decides like man look man then what I'm gonna do I'm moving it away and another thing I didn't mention mmm two things two more things that I learned that I didn't know before I got there I didn't know the dead man dead the folks ear about running for president yes yes oh-ho that's that Bankhead friend ain't in politics ain't trying to be in politics man I am in the for-profit business you understand me ain't trying to be in politics I'm not interested I think I could get more done in you know a restricted you know I'm saying I don't want to be bound by the restraints of bureaucracy money and really do it it's been 20/20 done go write up again yeah yeah yeah it fits him a truck I'm gonna hear my all the way right I will hear my old wait and see that way he seen that wasn't seen well maybe you do now what's the other thing you said he said it was two things oh and how how much how affected he still is by the death of his mother absolutely he's extremely he's still affected but he doesn't show it doesn't show yeah I mean but and I think another thing he'd been Hermit it for so long and he removed himself from I guess normal social interaction so much did I think I it feel to me like you know he's just happy to be like you know talking like what's up man listen man I've talked to Kanye probably four times in 14 years and I talk to him maybe every day since I live every single day hey man unless you know he reaching out you know who are we to be like yeah I'm the Brotherhood I can't do that if anybody needs my help and they are worth helping and they have shown that they willing to put in you know the work to helping themselves I can't turn my back on it we know you talk somebody off a goddamn building no yeah but I mean even if you decided where you want to go if you want to sit at a table we need somebody who gonna sit at their table I mean we don't represent us we don't represent us black we go represent us you know they can't make us do then we want to do good they got to bring it back to the front line you did you know saying what you say now
