THROWING A FASHION SHOW IN OUR BACKYARD

this is the craziest thing you've ever built what have we done a lot more than this oh the life this backyard has had ever since we transformed this backyard we've managed to throw some pretty special events that have brought together some of the most amazing people we know and last weekend we might have managed to throw the greatest event that has ever happened here but before we get to that let me tell you why we did in the first place see we try to do merch before but we were never too impressed with the quality of what was available for us to sell to you and since we pride ourselves with high quality and everything we do if we're gonna do clothing then we had to do it right it took us about six months to put the right pieces together from sourcing the most sustainable highest quality material to working with the most talented designers and artists and now it's finally here nothing about this process was convention so we thought we might as well get creative with how we launch our clothing line to our community we decided to put together the most epic fashion show that we could possibly organize out of this backyard in just seven days all right this is our set let's figure out what's actually they look like by wearing this merch by spreading this message of sickness comfort you were becoming a light in the middle of like your community or your group of friends or your family how can the show just be like a physical manifestation of that you have broken pants so get out of my face yes these two are gonna get this done move one week today let's go they're gonna wear your bro convinced the Melrose trading post beat up with Michael who is a designer and we're gonna ask if he wants to be a part of this fashion show let's do it Michael yes we're taking about people to collaborate with she was like oh I got the perfect guy so just came here today to meet you and ask do you want to collaborate on the fashion show use that my work yay yes yeah hey I have a favorite ask hello okay hear me all right we are trying throw a full-blown fashion show out of our backyard and I need a backdrop for like the photo wall and you be down to DJ amazing in order to be able to do anything we only got some money for this event so basically we're gonna go to movement watches right now and we're gonna ask if they would be down to sponsor this event so that we can rent everything that we drench Jake has literally no idea what we're going to ask him what are we doing let's see if it works or what we're aiming to do next weekend is to turn our back into a fashion show like a full-blown fashion show the fashion show would be sickness comfort themed that's in regards to the clothing and the vibe of everything so we're energetic we're positive figure it out but just knowing that movement has a presence like it's totally I think we're bringing something like our most entrepreneur friends to actually be on the runway and it would be perfect if you secured let's go all out that's God yeah we want you to do a swim look with Robbie intensity like going out next to each other this will make sense when you sit on the runway the mission four days to get the clothes ready for the fashion shows I cannot agree with the printers and get the process of printing on a clothes that's it I just got to Michael he is putting together some of the looks for the fashion show getting the sweatshirt prep for some painting I think I'll believe that this is happening when I see the stuff printed on the clerk [Music] [Music] [Music] first discomfort sweatsuit ever made [Music] I'm kind of speechless for the second time Alan just comes through and the agrees to help us pull off this whole thing another home depot trip one these can go in like this I mean how cool is that gonna be oh my god yeah by like in your backyard so Matthias zero is gonna help me do the setup for the backyard in regards to the set actual stage and the life and everything we're gonna build like a cheese day I'm just gonna need ask a lot of questions about your rentals you're cause you need to get someone to design the lighting example labor team camp where the labor that's fine we'll figure it out yeah there's enough man and woman power in the house we just had our first ever meeting as an entire squad prepping for this event and now everybody has their own individual pass Enda they doing so we're gonna spread out right now [Music] [Applause] our male models and our female models only thing we're missing right now to strangers is gotta have those strangers in there you're trusting my job [Music] [Applause] my job to find two complete strangers that will be whoa I probably will and I'm recruiting a male stranger to waltz in the runway shows doing this is literally a wild this is the craziest thing you've ever built one of the artists that painted on jackets he literally flew from Indiana just for this time on these jackets see what I haven't slept for five days and I still look this good just for you guys I have never shown my art publicly I've kept it unlocked for like six years there's no joke I don't be a brillant you right now so I've done over like 6,000 pieces so this is like this is a pretty big deal for me to like be here and to do this but it's because like I respect you guys I'm like your channel the viewers so you guys have and like you guys are doing some really cool stuff in the show who some hear from young guy no one else it's every person that we've interacted with like coming to help us in a week in one week this well Alan has been working on this for the past six hours pretty much fire but the see discomfort is gonna shine in the background that'd be like that they'd be like yeah all right it's finally the day of the show went to fit last night and I woke up and our backyard currently looks like this the gap in her back yeah who is that how did this come here I just woke up and it was there it's way more legit than I expected I think it would be like on the floor like a little carpet or something so we're like actually hosting a fashion show we're about an hour and a half out from models arriving and about two hours from actual guests coming and there's so much to be done freaking out right now Gracie squeaking good news is there's so many cool people around us helping and it's gonna be great there's no stress just this is just theory nice look at that yeah [Music] [Music] you think unbelievable all right we're gonna do the the only rehearsal we're gonna do before the actual chef Maddy you ready or what are you doing born ready it's all the people I love in one place and we're modeling amazing whole thing's supposed to be fun it's supposed to be just a good time for everyone so there's no pressure you don't have to do like the proper catwalk or if you want to explain it so intimately on this model and then you walk back and then next dance or do something crazy [Music] what you're doing in the male model prisoner are you ready to walk yeah for the most part I wouldn't mind a little bit of protein that protein had 100 grams anything else be pushing how did you end up here I was walking down the street and Gracie that want to be a model tomorrow and I said who's going first no biking first we've gotten no instructions from anybody nobody knows they're doing fine everyone relax we'll relax [Applause] [Music] welcome to the first ever seek discomfort fashion show this comfort has been attracting just the right people around this already past we're hoping that by putting this merch line out we'll be able to allow more people to express that they subscribe to this lifestyle and be able to identify themselves amongst their communities whether it's family group of friends and hopefully end up opening the way for them to collaborate with one another because this is literally the only way to show came to life yeah I'm not gonna ramble for longer but let's get the show started [Applause] [Music] [Music] hey what'd you get up there [Music] it's a tie [Music] [Music] we have a couple of suppression performances so we're gonna keep the music for the dancers and then we've got an amazing
