[Music] welcome to mechanical tutorial i am going to teach you different techniques in solidworks for mechanical engineers i am going to train you different modules like surface modeling sheet metal and enclosure design product design plastic components design reverse engineering and many more tips and tricks in solidworks hi today i am going to explain three ways to create counter bore holes one is with whole wizard revolve feature and extrude see first of all i have created with counter bar next is a revolve cut and with the exterior boss so i am going to show you all the three methods so go to features whole wizard select counter bore here i have taken m20 and for position select this face right click and select keep it normal keep it in my frame uh so this is the one of the method and this is the standard method this is the standard method for creating the counter borehole see here next is a simple method that is with revolve feature so we have to create the sketch we have to create center line for dimensioning these are the dimension these are the dimensions select revolve cut say ok so this is the simplest method to create hole counter bore holes next method is extruded cut this is for beginners so create a extrude cut and through all now select this face once again go to sketch keep it normal 38 depth is 12.5 see while creating a counter bore with the extruded cut so the best practice is to create a smaller hole and create a larger hole so that we can select the single face create this sketch so these are the three regular methods to create a counterbore holes thank you [Music] you
