What is up EWU Crew! Today, we have a very interesting case for you. It's a case regarding a 47 year old man. He disappeared as he went into the desert in search of something extremely bizarre! His name was Kenny Veach, and he claimed to have found a mysterious cave in the shape of a perfect capital M. Roll it. And I'm looking for a cave that I found and something about that cave just spooked me... Out of all the caves I've ever gone in, this one just made my body vibrate. The closer I got to it, the crazier my body felt. And I was like, "Alright, I'm not gonna go in there right now, but I’m coming back someday!" So this all started in the comments of a YouTube video titled "Son of an Area 51 Technician". Kenny had commented and he claimed to find a mysterious cave by Nellis Air Force Base. Again, in the shape of a perfect M. So as he approached the cave's entrance, he said his whole body began to vibrate and it scared him so badly, that he hightailed it out of there without even entering it, and he said he had to come back with a weapon. So others in the comments encouraged Kenny to go back and find the cave and some were skeptical and accused him of lying and he wanted to prove them wrong. "And I talked to some people on YouTube and I told 'em hey, I'm coming out here, you know, cuz they - they kind of called my hand on it, so..." One commenter warned him about going in the cave. He said something like, "don't go in if you find it. If you do, you won't come out." So after this, Kenny went to search for it again, and he posted a video of this search just weeks before he disappeared and went missing. "Hopefully I'll find it. It's shaped like a big M." "It's a big cave that looks just like a gigantic M and it's about as tall as I am and kind of narrow and it's stuck on the side of a mountain." "Yeah, so I hope I can find it again. If I do, I'm going in there." "I'm gonna put on my light, walk in there. See if I find anything." In this video however, he was not able to find the cave... "Well, I did not find the cave. That is so weird." So, he didn't give up on finding it, though. He said, "I'm going to go again this weekend. I will be hiking solo for three days. I plan on covering about 40 miles." "I will cross through the same canyon where I found the cave. If I don't find it again, I will just continue hiking over mountain over mountain of the north of the canyon. I dare any of the people that like to run their mouths on here to join me." He finished that comment by saying the M Cave was the only case he has ever feared, you guys. This guy was a hiker. A very, very, very good hiker. Wouldn't you say? He was like - yeah, he was experienced. Yeah, a very experienced hiker. So, he could hike some serious mileage. At 6am on November 10th, he set out on a mission to go searching for the cave again in the mountains. He texted his girlfriend and said he would be back in a few days. He would text her when he got home... but that text never came... Never happened because he disappeared. Kenny had disappeared without a trace. As soon as the third day came, he was supposed to be back. But he didn't return, so his girlfriend named Sheryon decided to contact the authorities. Just a few hours after she contacted the authorities, the search for Kenny Veach officially began... They located Kenny's car parked at the foot of the mountain. "There's my old truck... I use that thing like a Jeep." We were actually there and we livestreamed there, guys. On the same day searching, they had found Kenny's phone and some change next to it at the same exact mineshaft he had shown in that video searching for the M Cave. Let's roll it right now. "Some of the rocks are kinda rusty, so it might have been some kind of ore... uhm, this is kind of iffy. I'm gonna step on this thing, it's very old, but I'll just show ya." They searched inside the mineshaft, but they found absolutely no trace of Kenny. He was - no trace of him anywhere. All they found was his phone and some change according - This wasn't known, though. This is new info. Some change. We don't know how much change. We reached out to Sheryon to try to find out how much change, cuz we think this might have been a clue. According to Sheryon, the phone couldn't have just fallen out of his pockets cuz they were, like, the deep kind of pockets that you could see him wearing those pants in his video. Yeah, you could tell, he has the cargo pants that he wears. Yeah, so it wouldn't just fall out, and she said he wasn't the type of hiker that would just leave something there and forget about it. Basically, she believed that he had left that there on purpose, either as a clue, or as a way of not being tracked by the GPS on his phone. So strangely enough, they went and searched Kenny's house, and they found his video camera, which was really weird because he told people on YouTube that he was gonna go searching for the M Cave. That was his goal. He really wanted to find the M Cave. So if he was gonna go find this cave, why in the heck didn't he bring his video camera to prove to everybody? So that's one of the big mysteries of this case. But he did bring with him: his weapon, which you saw in the video that we played before - and in addition, he brought a point-and-shoot camera. I guess it was a point-and-shoot - she didn't make a distinction, just said a photo camera. Which I'm thinking must be a point-and-shoot that they brought with him, meaning he must have brought both of those with him on his final hike. So, no other belongings of Kenny's were ever found, which means they're all still out there somewheres on those mountains, and here's the important part. He's probably never gonna be found, because guess what? The Nellis Range is taking over that entire area soon, and soon it will be off-limits to everybody but the military. So let's go back you guys, now that we got the story out of the way, let's talk about some of the things leading up to Kenny's disappearance, and let's also discuss some of the theories and possibilities, and we want to hear what you guys think in the comments below. Make sure you post anything that you think in the comments below. So one thing that's really important to mention is 14 months before Kenny disappeared, he had quit his job of 17 years. "My whole life, I've worked for, like, corporations and companies, and I've reached a point in my life where I want to do it my way. I want to live my life the way I see fit." Yeah, he was running out of money. He had no more money, his house, he was about to lose his house cuz he had to make his mortgage payments, and he loved his house. I believe he built it himself. He designed it, I believe. I don't know if he built it - he designed it himself. He designed it himself. "And for two years, a scorpion that I found out in the desert, it lived in this little thing, and it lived in there for two years, then one day... it died... and I don't know why... maybe it just got old. But, uhm, more stuff I did." Everything has a little story." As you'll see in the clip, he literally loved his house. It was, like, everything to him. "I decided about a year ago that I was gonna kinda strike out on my own, and go live the life I wanted to live. My life's kinda an open book, it's just waiting for me to write in the pages. How I got this home, I worked a lot of hard jobs all my life, and I saved and saved and saved..." He was so desperate to keep his house, that he was trying to, like, sell it with him with it - yeah - or some kind of strange arrangement... He just really wanted to keep his house. "So what I plan on doing... is selling this home... in a unique, kinda an unusual fashion... and I'm putting this house up for sale along with me. I'm offering myself along with the house." Yeah, it was a really weird arrangement he was trying to set up. Unfortunately, if he would have just lasted a little longer, he could Airbnb'd his house, and he'd have been fine. He could've had roommates, like Airbnbing. Oh well. "On my hikes, I seem to find a heart-shaped rock every time I go out, so all the heart-shaped rocks are in there..." One thing that caught our attention too, is in this video, he made a point in saying he always makes it back from his extreme hiking trips. "I'll walk up to - with - I'll put a pack on, and hike up to 15 to 20 miles just to get to the mountain, and I'll climb all the way to the top of the mountain, no matter how I got to get there. I climb and climb and climb. I always make it back. I've been doing it since I was in my 20s." Yes, and he did up until that point. Yeah... Alright guys, so this is never - we've never heard this mentioned before, so we think it's pretty interesting. And, we dug up something very interesting. Why don't you tell them what exactly what we dug up? So before Kenny disappeared, he had gotten, like, SUPER interested in occult-like stuff. He was REALLY into that stuff. His liked videos playlist, you guys, if you go look at that, he has, like - like, maybe four or five videos on stuff like awakening, source wisdom, and Global Illumination Council... Yeah, stuff from the Global Illumination Council, who likes to tag their videos with Illuminati. And it's really interesting, because a lot of the things they talk about is this energy that vibrates your body sometimes. Yeah, exactly! So we thought that was kind of interesting. And a lot of people involved, they talk about some, like, strange experiences that sound, like, super similar to what Kenny described about the M Cave, you guys... If you go watch those videos, you can see they're talking about, like, aliens visiting them and experiences like that which caused their "awakening", and in, he's - a lot of people thinking he was going towards Area 51 Yeah! On his hike, so I don't know if there's any connection there. Well, he obviously had some interest in Area 51. He did leave that first comment on a video related to Area 51, so... Kinda strange. That is interesting. According to Kenny's girlfriend, in the months leading up to the point where he disappeared, he had very, very bad depression and it was getting worse because of his money problem. She said as his money decreased, he became more and more depressed. He really did not look for another job. So he was basically living on his retirement money this whole time, and he - all of his business deals that he was trying to get off the ground had fallen. He was trying to do, like, Shark Tank inventions and all that stuff, and basically it all had failed... "Hello people of Shark Tank. My name is Kenny Veach, and get ready... because I'm gonna show you a few things about myself, and I'm gonna let you know just what I do, what I am, and how much I enjoy life... Hello everyone at Quirky. My name is Kenny Veach. Hello, my name is Kenny Veach, and I am the inventor of the Glolar Bear..." And Kenny's state of mind at that point was pretty depressed. Just one month before Kenny vanished, his girlfriend said him, "you aren't gonna pull a Robin Williams on me, are you?" And that's when he opened up to her about his thoughts about taking his own life that he said he had much of his life. Yeah, I guess for the majority of his life... and this is gonna be another key detail that I haven't really heard anybody else talk about about this case, and we're gonna tell you guys, his whole life he had these thoughts about ending his own life, and he thought it was strange that his girlfriend didn't have these thoughts. He thought that was a normal thing. He told her, "if I decide to do it, you'll be okay because you're good at the law of allowing." Again, we believe that's related to this other mysticism type of things that he was liking before. He said if he did do it, he wouldn't do it in his own home and nobody would ever find him. And this is kind of a key thing, you guys, because this stems back, that a lot of people have never talked about, that Kenny's own father had taken his own life, and Kenny had to be the one... He was 20 years old, and he had found his own father after his father had ended his life. Now, if this is what he did decide to do, it is plausible that he probably wouldn't want other people to find him, because this was so traumatic for him Yeah... So, the idea that he, like, he kept saying, oh, no one would ever find me... No one would ever find me...that probably had really good reason. Exactly. Because that traumatized him. Yep. Upon searching Kenny's computer after his disappearance, they found some pretty depressing things on his computer... Yeah, like he has searched for things, like, something that we'll have to censor, you know, taking your own life... You guys could figure that one out, and he typed the words "HELP ME"... written several times in searches... "But my mechanism is inside here, keeps it from coming all the way out, and it keeps it - keeps it on track. Thanks for your time. I hope I hear from you soon... Bye-bye..." Basically looking for help, which is kind of sad, and as we can tell, it doesn't appear that he got the help he was looking for. With all those facts and all that information out there, let's try to figure out if we can come up to some conclusion of what we think happened to Kenny, and make sure you put in the comments what you think happened to Kenny. Let's go. First of all, you guys, let's talk about the cave, because this is, like, where everything - everyone searches around this cave for Kenny. Yeah! It's all centered... Even, I think, Red Rock Search & Rescue were looking for the M Cave. That's like, I think what their searches were, like, based on. Finding the M Cave! But what's weird guys, is that, seems like everybody that's looking for the M Cave, seems to forget what Kenny said it looked like in his own freakin words. Yeah! A capital M at the bottom of a canyon. Not high on the mountain, but at the bottom, at the base. And high! Higher than his head. He said it was a massive tunnel. "And it's about as tall as I am, and kind of narrow." I've seen some speculation in the comments where people timestamp one, like, little M, and at first I was like, oh, yeah that looks like it. Exactly. "It's shaped like a... it's shaped just like the letter M... So..." But then you listen to what he said, and he said it was at the base of the mountain and it was HUGE. "Lots of little caves and stuff along here, and it's about... It's about level with the ground, but, like, right - like, in an area like this." And if you watch his video - yeah - he also says look, it's down, like this, like next to the bottom of the ground, not up in the canyon. Yeah, so he was super specific about it. And I don't - it's never been found. Which brings us up to the first mystery. Did this cave even exist? This cave that shook his entire body, and made him, you know, feel all crazy. Was that something he created based on him wanting to build this thing up for You - because he was trying to be a YouTuber. Well, he was also really into that interesting stuff before he went missing where they talked about experiences like that, and we were digging and we were listening to some of their experiences, and it was, like, eerily similar you guys... Yeah! It was really weird... And, they say this is what happens when you "awaken", which I still - we, we watched a lot of those videos, we don't really know what "awakened" means, you guys. If you know what that means, let us know in the comments below. It seems to mean all kinds of different things to different people. Like this one person will say one thing, and they're always vague. That's what I know. It so ties in, though, cuz some say they've been visited by aliens. Some say they saw weird lights. Yeah, I mean... "And something about this cave just spooked me. Out of all the caves I've ever gone in, this one just made my body vibrate. The closer I got to it, the crazier my body felt." It really matches up to what Kenny had said. Exactly, it's true. Was it real or not? So what can we do to figure out whether or not this was real? So let's go to the source. Let's go to his girlfriend, who was very close to Kenny. She says she actually believes he was being truthful. He was not a kind of person that would tell lies. She believes that the cave exists. But she was with Kenny the night before he disappeared, and she found it strange that Kenny didn't discuss it with her the night before he went to search for it. Sheryon, if you're watching this video, please reach out to us and email us. We sent you some emails. We don't know how to get ahold of you, We know you're active on YouTube. So if you could just contact us, because we would like to know how much money and change was found. Maybe that's a clue. We'd also like to know what movie you guys went to - not because we're accusing you, but just cuz we're curious if it had anything to do with his state of mind when he took off. Well, the one interesting thing someone did point out in his house tour video, was the the two dice they were rolled to eleven, and they thought that was interesting because he went missing in November... "I was in Cancun, and I bought that little guy. I bro - I dropped him, and I broke his arm, and I was like, how can I fix this? Actually, he shattered, and I had to glue the whole thing back, and I couldn't find this piece. So I just tied him up like he was injured, and he - he died rolling dice there, so... (laugh) Silly... Oh wow, yeah... so, they thought that might be a clue. I don't know. Could it be a coincidence? But it's kind of interesting. She said the night before, they had talked about his depression and the choices he was needing to make in his life. So another thing that supports Kenny in not being able to find this (the M Cave), cuz I even I was like - You know what? How in the heck you lose a cave like that? But even his girlfriend says that they would go out there and they would find, like, things on their trail, and they said okay, we're gonna bring this back with us later, and they would go and on the way back, they couldn't find it... She said it's that easy to get lost and not find a cave. So if he was looking for a cave even, I mean, they couldn't even find little things that they wanted to bring back, it's possible he couldn't find the cave and he was being one hundred percent honest. So again, that's another mystery. Does a cave exist? Something we don't know. We may never find out because, like I said, Nellis is taking that entire area over, and we're not gonna be able to get out there. Something that we've never heard anybody ever mention this, you know that mine in his video? Let's show you real quick. "Down inside that hole... It goes way way way down in there. Let me see if I can... Okay, that mine right there. If you look at that mine, that's the exact location where his phone was found. So we wondered if, like, maybe he was dropping clues the whole time. If he was planning this for a while, cuz he did say he had these thoughts for a long time, he could have been planning this out if things didn't work out. Exactly. Yeah. He could have been planning them out, and who knows. Maybe there's clues in there, like he always - he's - what's that peak? Gas Peak. He keeps referencing, top of Gas Peak, the top of Gas Peak... Yeah! "I hiked to the top of, uh, what they call Gas Peak, and I spent the night." So I slept up in these mountains..." Has anybody searched Gas Peak yet? I wonder if anybody has. So you guys, so, this is where we're at with the - with the M Cave. Does it exist? We don't know. Where's Kenny? Nobody knows. We only know that his truck was found at the bottom, and then his keys - and - were they found? Where were his keys and stuff found? In the truck, right? They never said. They didn't tell us where the keys were found. We know that his phone and some money was found, about four miles away is where that mine shaft is. And he's never been found. He's got a tent. He's got a sleeping bag. He's got a weapon, and they did a helicopter flyover and they didn't see his tent or anything. Yeah! That's another weird thing, I mean he'd be hidden, you guys. So it seems overwhelmingly that - that everything points at he took his own life. He went there to take his own life. That's what it seems like. And did he plan it? Did he leave hints in the video? Is everyone getting misdirected by the M Cave, when he was dropping hints on where he would be when he did it? Or, there's also the idea that maybe he freakin got hurt or lost. "You got to know which canyons to go down. Otherwise, you get lost up here." I don't bring a compass or anything, but I do have a pocketful of pin-pine nuts. Yeah!" I mean, just because he's been there a lot, doesn't mean, he's, like, never gonna get hurt or lost, or got bit by a snake. Well, he did say, he did tell his girlfriend he would text her when he got back, which is kind of weird. Yeah, so that's another interesting point. If he doesn't plan on coming back, why is he gonna text her? And he did like to pick up rattlesnakes. He liked to grab rattlesnakes and handle them. Alright guys. So, I'm really interested in hearing what you guys think. You think he was going there with plans to end his life? Do you think he was, like, going out there to search for the M Cave WITHOUT his camera for some reason, without his video camera... His girlfriend really, really, really believes it exists - the M Cave. Do you believe the M Cave exists? Also, let us know all of your theories, everything in the comments below, guys. We will read them. If we can get any updates, if we can get Sheryon to contact us, we would like to do an update on this video. If you want to go searching for Kenny, we'll put the coordinates in the description below because they're gonna be blocking that off soon. Yeah, you better hurry! Yeah, but if you go, make sure to be super, super careful, and make sure you have the ability to hike. I'm telling ya. Kenny was a beast when it comes to hiking. He was a beast. That guy could hike farther than we could. I mean, that's what we haven't gone and looked for him, cuz we know he's - it's farther than we could go. Yeah, so if you go, know the risks and know how dangerous it is out there. Bring a SPOT personal locator. Yes, there you go, was just about to say that. I'm telling you guys, they're closing it off soon. They're gonna take it all away. If you guys like this video, make sure you hit the like button.
