This Toyota Tundra trim is truly GENIUS! 🎓

hello ladies and gentlemen hope you're having a great day and welcome to the tundra dude 34 YouTube channel as you could see we are still sitting and driving around in a beautiful 2023 limited TRD off-road this truck my friends has the iForce Max engine now if you watched a few videos I made on this truck already you know we were pointing out some things that the truck didn't have okay this is the limited it does not come fully loaded all right and with the understanding of this video is really talking about what the limited is and what it's supposed to be okay so if we go up into something like the Platinum 1794 Capstone even the TRD Pro you're going to start seeing standard equipment on those trucks especially when you talk about Capstone platinum in 1794 JBL standard Pano standard genuine leather heated ventilated memory seats all of that comes with the truck you don't have to add anything really when it comes down to it when it comes to 1794 and platinum the really the only the only thing you truly can add is the AVS suspension and you can add the power bed step and the power side steps of course there are other small things here and there but overall the truck comes very very loaded up on 1794 you could add the TRD off-road package if you would like but the limited here you don't get everything all at once this truck we're sitting in right here has an MSRP on the sticker they sent me with the truck 68 000 excuse me 65 800 now it is missing some packages so I went on to toyota.com and I built a limited as loaded as it can be with the iForce Max with everything you can have and you can see the price difference so today I want to go over how would you build your limited do you like what we're sitting in now is it genius Toyota gives you this many options with the limited where you can build it up nicely and start getting some of these luxury features but not have it all to keep it within your budget so let's check out what this truck is missing first all right so I made a little list here on some of the things you're going to get with this truck being it is 65 800 this limited gives you the iForce Max and that comes with the digital gauge cluster it is 4x4 it is Crewmax it does have the TRD off-road package on it JBL sound system Pano roof both of those JBL and Pano they are not standard when it comes to limited keep that in mind heated steering wheel BSM parking sensors rear cross traffic alert course Toyota safety sensors on all Tundras this has the 360 Bird's Eye camera power folding mirrors heated ventilated memory seats okay that's what this truck has for the 65 800 of course it's soft text in there as well now the stuff you don't get first I wrote some of the things that are as you Circle the truck you will see and then the packages they are in you don't get the premium Auto leveling headlights you don't get the trailer assist control you don't get the digital rear view mirror and you don't get the LED bed lights with the bed Outlet now if you wanted those items there's two packages you would have to get the limited premium package and that gives you the Premium Auto leveling headlights the trailer assist and the digital rear view mirror you also would have to get the limited power package and that would give you the wireless charger the rear seat and bed AC power supply and led bed lights so that's the stuff that's missing those two main packages now I went to toyota.com and I built a tundra limited like we're sitting in but I added those two packages okay here's what it looked like it was 18 of 18 on the packages the best one you could get 5895 added to the MSRP JBL premium audio limited premium package limited power package pvm BSM outer mirrors and the cost with the delivery was 67.540 so the truck we're sitting in although the sticker said 65 8 we're going to say 65 because there was a bed utility package on there that included the extender so that's not in this so let's just for argument's sake say that the truck we're sitting in right now 65 000 but with those additional packages and the stuff that's missing you would pay basically an extra 2600 now my question to you is do you like the fact that with the limited it doesn't necessarily come with all of that stuff now let's not forget SR5 nowadays on the new generation you could build That Thing Up amazing you could get things like the 14 inch screen the digital mirror you could get all sorts of stuff on the SR5 then of course there's things you can't get on the SR5 and that's why you come up into the limited like we're sitting in right now you can get the iForce of the iForce Max in The Limited JBL sound system is available the Pano roof is available that kind of stuff you can't get on SR5 but this is that package that has always been this way since the beginning of the limited and when they started to have these higher trims like platinum in 1794 it starts to bring you to luxury but I think the genius in The Limited it doesn't force you into the luxury you can get these trucks with or without packages so at first there were things I was criticizing on this truck and then as I walked around I started to kind of see the genius in this build right here sure it's missing packages but they're available for the limited so if you had that kind of money and you wanted a limited completely loaded up you can do it but if you're somebody that wanted a cool couple things that the limited offers like JBL like the Pano like the TRD off-road package but you didn't want some of the other things we were talking about that it doesn't have in here the Qi wireless charger the Premium Auto leveling headlights this thing has LED headlights you've got to manually adjust them you can do it this package and this trim I gotta say Toyota has continued to impress me with because with this package you can do a lot you could get a limited to where we make videos all the time is it worth it to go to the limited or stay in the SR5 because you could build the SR5 up so much but no matter how much you build up that SR5 there are things you have to start to go to the limited with if you want them and this truck my friends is a perfect example sixty five thousand dollars for a truck that's expensive but guess what that's the pricing today and if we look at the pricing of the big three and we look at the pricing especially of the tundra and their trims it's nice that you could start getting these luxury features in a trim where you don't have to get it all and get up into the 70s so I applaud Toyota and what they've done with the limited and some of the things I criticized because I was shocked that weren't on here you can still get it but if you're someone who wants to save a little money you could still get this without those luxury packages I want to know what you guys think in the comments below do you feel that Toyota went above and beyond with the limited trim I didn't think they could do it I didn't think they could do it coming out of the last generation where SR5 was fairly basic and The Limited started you into that luxury stuff and then when you went up further it was all luxury well they did it they did it better than ever because now you're not just stuck with certain packages unlimited you can make it limited with some stuff or limited with everything and still save a bunch of
