This Tiny New HOI4 Nation Is Ridiculously Overpowered

what's going on everyone it's only me the hearts of iron 4 gigachad Alex the Rambler and today we're back on uh I've already said it uh hoi for we're playing hearts of volume four again in the new uh the by Blood alone expansion I'll have you know and today I'm going to be playing a nation which was recently added but you may not really have given it a try yet because uh well it's tiny and that nation is the kingdom of ayusa so oh sorry not the kingdom I should say the sultanate of ayusa led by Muhammad uh we're a non-aligned or voluntarian regime and the ruling party is the hanafo Dynasty uh we do also have Warriors skilled in desert Warfare which is a treat so far you only really see them in one event when Italy just decides to gobble them but today we shall try not to be gobbled so I'll have my face down here today there won't be a whole lot going on uh as we only have three tiles to begin with four little divisions all fully equipped though which is nice and uh the the very first thing that I'm going to do is the afar Armed Forces as we want those extra units so Bish bash Bosh the world is increasingly unstable and there's actually like a little uh Focus tree I don't know if this is for other nations too or this might be a unique one for oza I'm not sure let me know if you know so I did a test run of this and I it was surprising at how powerful they ended up being so we'll go ahead and get our Field Marshal Mohammed and I is that our ruler too yes our ruler is going straight into the action I'm immediately going to withdraw to our Capital you can see our Capital well you can't because I'm blocking it it's on a mountain tile which is going to be fantastic we at the moment don't have a general we do have fill commanders but we uh we we can't promote we need to cut we need we need Five Command power in order to get a general so we'll just uh carry on because each that the brigadiers now I believe our from each unit is kind of cool so we'll just fall back there and begin if you're wondering what the templates are is we have eight combat width which isn't a whole lot so holding these desert tiles will probably be tricky even even despite the fact that we do have Warriors skilled in desert Warfare don't really want to go in on that too much imagine Ethiopia is going to get pushed back pretty quick although they did manage to push out a tile okay in my initial um test run Ethiopia fell very quickly but here we go we've got the uh afar and then we'll get the old Warrior tradition so we get three extra units and here we go so Italy moves to Annex the sultanate they've been seeing amassing on the border of the isolated Nation if they want our land they would have to take it by force there we go we remain defiant and they immediately declare war and this is where we will hold Ethiopia would like non-aggression of course can I have military access why not so I'm going to actually promote a field commander here let's go ahead and promote Brigadier Muhammad Camille a couple ammo and then there we are he becomes a general and I also have enough command no I don't I almost had enough command power to do defensive Doctrine to increase our Max entrenchment which is uh we're gonna wanna do looks like Ethiopia's been encircled in the South oh no we are inflicting more casualties though our manpower's still okay our entrenchments great uh we've got recovery rate our General's doing a great job was that several more units you've gosh damn right it is so there's a choice between Every Man a warrior or strengthen the Irregulars I'm actually going to go and strengthen the Irregulars because that changes the division template and adds in extra combat width really this we can kind of sort out later on so we'll strengthen the Irregulars to begin with and now we just try and hold it's almost like the Luxembourg of Africa really Ethiopia is holding a little bit better um compared to the previous attempt and the fact that they just are suffering so much from attrition here they're holding thing on that tile so it might be just kind of funny I mean not funny but see if we can take a little tile back and add pressure to the Italians here they're doing Force attack which isn't I mean you don't really like to see that but then we can also do Last Stand go ahead and do interwar artillery you're going to see why it's gonna really benefit us as the playthrough goes on um we do also have the ability to get a lot of a fair amount of pp let's reduce our attrition even more we're going to take more casualties here and it probably is worth just falling back I think we are inflicting a lot of casualties on them though so yes that holding that tile is kind of untenable so let's fall back and we can start getting our entrenchment backup so we've strengthened the Irregulars which has changed around our combat width to 16 now on these bad boys in doing so that's wiped out our available Manpower so let's go ahead and do a limited conscription I'm also going to go ahead and utilize our strengths purple ammo which increases division attack and defense if we go for a chief of army let's go ahead and get army defense and let's start getting our army experience going up every day passively so it'll be quite funny to go ahead and do metal beasts and get ourselves a little tank uh but I think we're gonna do the rules of thunder and get ourselves some artillery looks like Ethiopia may be falling soon which is good for me because I I really want to show off how many Italians will perish in this but yeah the uh the abilities you get here are really quite overpowered well they're not overpowered with it for a nation that's well you know you'd think it would have as much gameplay value as somewhere like Luxembourg but they don't I I'm super impressed with how they just Giga chats so I did that research because we're going to get improved artillery ahead of time so I I be lined these two and then I'm getting the research bonuses on the next two uh from the focus that we just did which was the rules of Thunder nice also gonna get of ourselves uh some static Warfare okay so now in Warfare from the air they now have support artillery and artillery in there uh however we are lacking 72 pieces but we'll manage to solve that deficit ah there we go we'll go ahead and get uh Amar in which will help our artillery yes ah there we go all right so they've capitulated Ethiopia now and now uh we try and survive and as you can see I believe Italian casualties should start going up against me pretty soon they have blown the Yellow River I found that in this patch so far Japan doesn't really seem to do uh very well against China so we'll see how that progresses too we'll edit this division so they get some support artillery as well and I think we'll still have sufficient numbers yes we do very good I can't believe actually how passive Italy is being in my last run through they were cycle charging me the entire time I'm just a bit baffled my divisions are better than theirs ah good yes Italy good let the cycle charging flow through you yes good good good this is what we wanted uh unfortunately I'm going to go to service by requirement here because our Armed Forces for such a small nation we've got almost 50 000 in a nation of fight half a million so one in ten of our population is currently in the military and we've already lost 14 000 but you know we've inflicted almost 60 000 casualties on them so let's start getting some Superior Firepower baby okay so there we go we've got only 300 defense on that tile in the mountains it's going up to well I mean they're still good a couple of hundred defense I mean as we level up I think our generals will get stronger and stronger I was honestly hoping to be doing a bit more I feel like the casualties I've inflicted are a little bit pitiful at the moment look 105 000 is that it is that all you can give me it's even tempting just to be like I'm taking that one too the more tiles we have the more they'll attack I mean they're not even entering that tile either I'm a I am confusion Ethiopia's actually got five divisions now uh so I'm actually just gonna let him chill I think I I don't even know if I need to help them here we're just absolutely just destroying them we are destroying them uh let's do military corporation why not in terms of equipment everything's all good in the hood it's all fairly spicy we can't edit this template unfortunately but we can edit our template here although I can't actually add uh irregular infantry but I wonder if I added in more artillery is that just gonna yeah I feel like the soft attack is worth it almost and we're making one a day of improved artillery we're increasing our infantry equipment Effectiveness and our support weapons oh everything's coming up there's salt in it oh they bombing me now they are we are getting bombed in which case I will bolster the spirits hey if you don't know this is a new event and we get weekly War support because people bomb us you have nothing nothing to threaten me with except running out of uh Manpower look at the bonuses here this is really nice it's it's really it's really quite chad-like except we're not in Chad we're in a sewer apologies for the pronunciations I don't mean to be terrible at them I just am why don't we have a decisive battle expert in a as a landlocked Nation go on then why not I don't really have much else to spend my PP on and you know it's great having a lot of peepee but if you've got nothing to use it with then what's the point oh now France would I be able to why would I need convoys when you're literally there sir but regardless we've inflicted 250 000 casualties to Italy which I think is pretty nice I was hoping it would be much higher if I'm honest though oh at least join the axis and I'm at war with Germany now so uh brace yourselves because death may be coming ah Germany's sending in the pair hands of Divisions uh if they decide to start attacking with those we may be having a bit of a problem we'll see we'll see yeah uh we're immediately gonna fall back from that tile in fact is the tank attacking oh my God it is but we have 400 soft attack uh I doubt we're able to pierce the tanks though but this may be a case of withdrawing back to the capital um very soon let's rally the afar people the world is being ravaged by conflict all that stands between our current freedoms and the abyss of subjugation is the willingness of the FR people to stand up and fight united we stand divided we fall meanwhile I'm just bricking it those German tanks are doing a number on us but have we uh we've taken down four medium tanks good odds for any nation that has no no way to to to destroy tanks yeah those German panzers coming in were a bit naughty weren't they but no worries we've already killed 13 000 of them I think I'm gonna have to stick in more infantry here I need the org yes I think with the extra all this is going to be quite nice so we've got 459 defense currently and they're attacking me with a stupid Griffo squadrione freaking Cavalry I've got I've got freaking artillery Italy oh they stopped attacking again cowards absolute cowards Germany's had to f off I'm at war with the Axis powers and I'm living I can even attack in the mountains whenever I choose what do you got to say about that mate I just instantly killed him there we go we've saved Ethiopia again see how Japan's getting on what casualties is Japan taking good Lord oh good we have allies I shall join the United Kingdom yes I mean once the Italians are under a bit more pressure they've got a lot of their divisions down here and the British I don't think were prepared for the amount of Divisions that Italy's committing to this front I mean they never are are they why must you being competent allies oh okay we insta just killed that unit my God can I have a port please well I'm doing probably push them back into the sea honestly because they only have that one port left so if we take that Port then they're just all going to be slaughtered oh of course the Germans send in the tanks right at the last moment you know what let's get out of that Salient I don't like the look of that I think we'll just I think we'll just leave that yeah don't fancy taking that attrition you know I'm just going to rename this the Giga Chad's offensive yes push them back to the sea is that actually working oh good lord yeah yeah we've encircled the north um are those Germans paratroopers I'm gonna try and Power Drop power drop of Rome oh Italy's done Italy's so done in Africa not down here though they are actually uh pushing us back down here we're actually um maybe an encirclement oh they're not going to save those troops though there's no point wasting troops and manpower to that kind of offensive when I don't need to I'm beating the German tank in fact the German tank has no equipment the offensive continues perfection Perfection but for such a small nation I'm doing I'm having so I'm having such big game impact I love having game impact as a minor Nation now core it's thrilling Italy didn't even manage to go after Yugoslavia they're so weak because they've only taken over a million casualties in ninth and it's 1940. look at me improved irrigation systems you know it oh Germany's going after Yugoslavia I feel like they're starting to overstretch themselves already I think they may have given up down here nope they're sending more and more and more and more panzers I'm not honestly gonna worry about that too much I think I may just get my troops back on my Capital uh just in case they do do anything silly oh Rome is actually is that in range I need to get there first I've only got like four convoys we'll have to wait until Italy's a little bit uh more weakened I think but this is just I have no I I have no words for what is going on down here Japan's demanding indo-china did they actually defeat China yet not really they've taken a million casualties ouch I look away for one minute and it's all it's all gone wrong I don't believe it why must you be the way that you are AI kind of glad I stuck my troops back on the capitol here uh they appear to have fixed their situation from the fact that there's Romanians down there now 10 divisions of Romanians have just been sent to this end of Africa I am confused by their objectives but we have paratroopers now oh yes yes yes yes yes that's what we wanted get even more stretch Germany I also really don't know why they have their Panzer divisions in here like why are they treating this as an integral part of their war effort it makes no sense considering they're getting pushed back by the Soviets in the first year of their wall oh you love to see it like how many divisions does Germany have they don't even have that many oh no I have a dockyard convoys here we cometh I could actually enable invade places now the province needs to have 50 transport planes to Power Drop since you had a role all my days I honestly had no idea all right paratroopers you got to do some walking first this is ridiculous isn't it this is utterly ridiculous could that actually go and would that be successful I mean they're trying to move into that tile so this could all go terribly wrong it could all go a bit peaked tongue you know that's just oh you tarts the Allies have screwed me oh God did only one little fella land oh no oh little fella get out of there we've been betrayed no I never don't mind I encircled them uh what it was disposed what a matter hey look oh and then they take my freaking Glory UK you have annoyed me for the last time shame we can't fly on our bloody just just I okay let's give them one more chance hold on I can encircle the port in nice here we go when you take when you take the tile you should be I am um really baffled by the game function now of paratrooping I know that was my bad with not having the right amount of transports to divisions but I would have thought 96 transports could handle paratrooping six divisions one at a time at least but apparently not apparently not paratroopers in close patch appear to be absolutely God awful would not recommend it was all going so well I was thinking I finally had a fantastic game as a minor Nation either way I may try and Naval invade somewhere now I may try and cause a D-Day there we go that's what we can do here we go I don't know anymore guys I think I'm losing it here we go game impact nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope I bet by the time I actually do this damn Invasion there'll only be there there's no need for it there's no goddamn need for it oh my God oh you have to
