This Tablet Changed My Life As A Mix Engineer! | Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE

yo let me give you a little backstory I used to be the guy to say the iPad don't get me wrong I love Apple I've used almost every category of tech products they've ever manufactured but I hated tablet my thinking was I've got a powerful laptop a MacBook Pro I've got a powerful iPhone what do I need a tablet for but I was wrong I fail to understand or see the importance of that in between device I know you're thinking yo the title says Samsung why is he talking about Apple let me Lear let me Lear just let me cook look I love to write right I used to have stacks of paper pieces all over my desk my pockets my backpack everywhere because at random times during the day I need to write down stuff maybe ideas offload them from my head you YouTube ideas the list of mixes that I have to do if a new mix comes in I have to jot it down so I don't forget um just random stuff I write a lot cuz for me offloading ideas from the top of my head onto paper helps me Focus but over time I got really tired of papers I got really bored it was unmanageable there was too much of them around I couldn't keep track of what was written where what version is this is this new is that old and then I thought about it I need a tablet and I went online regular stuff do my research I go online looking at iPads cuz it's only right right I'm already deep into the Apple ecosystem so I need an iPad if I need to get a tablet but I go online searching for used devices new iPads and the prices were crazy bro I'm I'm seeing prices that look like used car money laptop money or even bright price money I'm thinking there's no way I'm doing this I'm not spending this amount of money on a tablet I never like tablets anyways and then new thought comes along I've already got a Samsung phone I have an iPhone I've got a Samsung phone and I love it w for the Samsung tablets I do my research go on a few websites I saw the options I needed something I could write on that had a stylus I could find the a series them ones were cheaper but most of them didn't use the Spen and I finally stumbled upon the Samsung Galaxy galx tap S9 Fe the price was sweet in comparison to its Apple counterparts I cut that one 2 days later it arrives I'm not going to start telling you about all the specs and features and stuff cuz I know there's countless videos on YouTube talking about that already you can just search do your research and find out all the technical stuff but I'm trying to tell you how this tablet has changed my life ever since I got it and how it can change yours if you're creative like myself so not taking on the SP Spen is actually amazing it doesn't feel like you're writing on paper obviously it's you writing on screen although there's screen protectors out there that emulate the paper feel I have tried it I didn't like it took them off and I still have the regular screen protector on but anyways it's very useful it is usable it's got this little button on here you press on that button the pencil turns to an eraser so you can take down whatever you want fluently might feel strange at first first few days but you'll get used to it it feels very natural you see we live in a world where everything is digital we think it's digital we feel it's digital but you'll be surprised at how many times you need to fill forms or sign documents sent to you via email in PDF format and you need to just put your signature on there so if you don't have a tablet or something like this you just have to print out that document sign it scan it or take a picture and send it back via email but if you have a tablet you can just open your email take out the PDF save it in maybe one of these PDF editing applications sign it save it again as a PDF send it back you catch my drift I'll tell you this I'm not a professional photographer I'm a mix and matching engineer and I happen to create as well make content YouTube videos and stuff like that and my software of choice for editing videos has been Lightroom I use Lightroom on my Mac the Lightroom CC but with this tablet I cancel that subscription I now have light room mobile only I understand Lightroom on Mac and and PC has got more features than the mobile version but I can actually leave without those features it Sav me money saves me time the process of copying from my camera SD card to my computer loading it up and exporting I I think it's quicker for me to just put it on my tablet make the edits quickly and send it to my other phone or even upload to social media from the tablet so yeah that has been a great addition to my Arsenal also file Freedom generally moving files around from one SSD to another flash drive from one flash drive to another if I use my tablet as a host to get that done I find it quicker than using my computer having to pull out my computer every time it's easier to carry your tablet around but it's not as easy to carry your 16inch MacBook Pro around that's another one the tablets also helped me to offload files from my phone there's certain files and and apps that I don't get to use I think I need them but I don't use them often so they're just there taking off space on my phone making my phone slower and now I've been able to take them off my iPhone and my other Samsung put them on the tablet and just know okay if I ever need this app it's on my tablet not on my phone and another thing about the tablet that I love is I use it as a second monitor for my Windows computer I've got a Mac and I've got a Windows PC I can use it as a second monitor from my Windows laptop when I'm doing other things asides music and it works really well I love that I believe you can too so yeah final thoughts about my Samsung Galaxy tablet S9 Fe I wish I had the S9 Ultra because editing videos I can tell the screen resolution would have been higher but it's not a deal breaker still serves me right if you're creative like myself and you make content you have everyday life going you need to write down stuff and you write on paper I would highly recommend you get yourself a tablet it doesn't have to be a Samsung tablet doesn't have to be an Apple tablet just anything with the stylus would do
