*this movie had no right.. being this funny* FIRST TIME WATCHING: Tropic Thunder (2008) REACTION

for 400 years that word just kept us down my god what is what do you guys will get the formula we're back and willing to get another movie reaction you guys today we're watching tropic thunder from 2008 yes the infamous tropic thunder movie starring none other than my personal favorite childhood comedian ben stiller it also happens to star another actor that i greatly love and respect in a very [Music] different role that i've seen him in before i only know that he plays this character from promos and pictures that i've seen over the years but i still have no real context as to why he's that character so i'm actually very excited to put context in this movie already and i mean to my understanding it couldn't have been that bad considering that robert downey jr definitely had a very booty sweat but the real heavyweight on the set is five-time academy award winner kirk lazarus lazarus underwent a controversial pigmentation alteration procedure in order to play the platoon's african american sergeant osiris trying to hold his own on-screen with kirk his action juggernaut that's what happened but now the question is they're parroting everything in this huh all right huge star all right but right now you're like that kid on the playground you know the one who has lice that none of the other kids want to play with what do you mean i mean we gotta shave your head and get you back on the monkey bars right what what bro who is not in this movie and you don't need to explain to me why you need tevo or clean water clean sheets food shelter we got we we got tevo this movie is heavily 2008 and i saw a sidekick in there somewhere [Music] you better do it i know a place where a man's worth is measured in the ears hanging from his dog tags sergeant four-leaf tayback i wrote didn't go with the g5 this movie is crazy no not the tivo [Applause] this is the most ridiculous hilarious thing he actually won for that it actually was a movie that's actually jennifer love few it and that the instant guy all right okay thank you les thank you we have a good night he's gonna play florida again [Music] yo the kid toss was the best scene the best part man this movie had no business being this hilarious honestly this was really unexpectedly hilarious like actors that never have made me really laugh before or i never thought were that funny like killed me in this like i said in the intro um i've been a ben stiller fan since i was a kid even though i know a lot of his movies have been hit or miss this one was definitely one of the best of his career a really surprisingly clever film too um highly ironic and a big satire to hollywood movie tropes war films um method acting robert downey jr played that character far too well like far too well for me to like far too well to not appreciate the genius behind the whole role of that character um and just the kicking the balls to hollywood's political correctness these days i'm actually really surprised this movie did come out in 2008. um i definitely expect it to be the last of its kind matthew mcconaughey's character was amazing um but i always kind of knew he was funny but what really blew me away was tom cruise's character that was hilarious and not just because of the dance moves which were also unexpected but just the comedic timing with all of his lines and then the body suit and then the prosthetic hairy-ass arms everything was perfect only regret is that they didn't give his character uh more screen time i mean they really should just make a sequel or spin-off just based on that character alone it would take off sadly i do believe movies like this are a last of its kind but i personally thought this was hilarious this is a movie i would have loved to watch pretty much at any
