because jonah just i got surprised this morning and he didn't i'm gonna let them do the chores this morning okay we got two projects we've got twine well this is we'll take that up there for the butchering we've got our supplies everything we need for putting together our trellises john how's it going i see you've been playing some baseball no you just have some baseball pants well they work it looks so good it's almost peaked give it another month here we go this is gonna be a game changer becky butchering on concrete butchering under a shed we kill that one need to be hung up we'll need to put a plastic up kind of protect the the boards i think the concrete will wash off the boards will not yeah that's the boy i guess they're thinking they're gonna do something with that sheepskin you have to stretch it and stuff i mean i'm no i'm no expert on hide saving but you know that much yeah and i don't his hide was so gross like look yeah anyways here's the exciting thing where i got this just is sitting here i know we used to have to put it on pallets we used to have to balance it we used the butcher right there because it was close to electricity but guess what we even have a 240 outlet for this installer and a regular outlet alex everywhere hey lights becky if it's a little dreary well we're gonna be butchering about this time yeah so we're turning on the lights it feels festive out here okay so then we're going in the order so we kill we scald we pluck then we have it we have three eviscerating tables wow and then we dump it into the oh we should check our ice machine it's not been working that great but i think i fixed it last night then we dump it in our ice tub our ice bath the thing is hoses we need to like run them up well look arun helped us set up this up yesterday he's got a hose on this and he's got a hose cook connect to that we need another one over here don't we or two maybe two yeah because we're gonna need one for this station like maybe run it along this type thing or up there come down and then over here okay oh this too for uh bagging them well are we even gonna do this method cause you were talking about parting them okay well it depends upon what we have yeah i mean we could park because we have so many people yeah now as well yeah we're having an abundance plus workshop six people from abundance plus we've been selected to come we'll have a lot of people because we'll have a roon us them we can part and that saves room in our freezer and well and it's just nice for when we want to park you just want to have breasts or you just want to have dark meat project number two got an hour and a half i'm hoping to at least get the beans hung up if not the line for the tomatoes let's check to see if we got the ice maker fixed it was not keeping up with us we really needed to put something in our ice baths oh i mean that's enough but we emptied it yeah i mean we'd have this much about tomorrow by the next day so that would work that would feel all we need for our chicken yeah i mean it's only been [Music] so let's see it tonight in 12 hours so there'll be 24 hours cycle and see if it's full well there's the henry cart 1200 darts why did you think that did you all hear that how did you say yes i don't know they caught me in a weak moment i say to him do not buy them anything else he's the softy i'm like no we're not turn off a line because these beans got so wet yesterday hey they have drained i helped them a little bit handy to be able to turn off the line see that greenhouse up in the yard we actually sl we actually sold it you know we're eating different we were going to alternate and have winter have plants in one greenhouse over the winter and animals in the other but we're kind of getting away from leafy greens and transitioning more into like saving like squashes we're still doing i potatoes this is the one uh so really we only need one greenhouse and we can just keep doing plants heat loving plants in the summer and our pigs and chickens in the winter and we can actually have a yard again hey how excited are you to have a yard i'm very excited like something you can walk barefoot in i'm very excited about it that's your door maybe a picnic table and you've been the crazy chicken ladies for long enough i know well and get the greenhouse out of the front yard flowering stuff well we have the space plants i think we've demoed what you can do in 300 square feet if somebody wanted to know like if that's all we have we would be keeping we would have that greenhouse we'd have vertical gardens everywhere we would have uh he would be the crazy people we'd be the crazy growing plant people front yard homesteaders [Music] so far this is going really good we're out here in a nice part of the day it's not too hot i'm gonna uh wrap this around i got this 14 gauge so i could actually manage it i can't do it with my fingers heavy and getting hot twisting you want to unroll it like this you don't want to untwist it because it gets twisted i can also cut it with the leatherman pull it tight oh yeah perhaps there's a little bit of sag no worries we're gonna tie it to every post but let's pull it taunt at the ends boy that's pulling it snug coming across there tight zip ties a homesteader's best friend [Music] i've got my post up with my wire i'm feeling really good about that now the net never worked with this net before it's supposed to be easier than like hanging cattle pedals paddle panels on that a tote this could potentially be a big crazy tangled mess if i'm not careful there we go okay okay not too bad i could hook this i don't know how long this is that's my end let's go ahead and hold it in there let's unroll it all right i probably should have used taller t-posts what do you say not my word i should use way taller t posts i don't have any taller t posts i'm attach it with a zip tie at the bottom oh we could cut this let's secure it at the top we won't cut it till the end there we go rebecca had a wonderful idea to do with this excess like because they'll grow becky won't they grow like yeah they will look as high as we want them to we have this we have this up here i think it's going to be just right we have this cross wire why don't we hang our well i was thinking what you would maybe do is use the wire to run the wire through the top of it that worked out great connected it way up there now i'll go to every one of these points and secure those two wires together and secure that up and then i can come back and go in the middle and secure it up this is beautiful becca had a great idea to raise this up to our wires and beans from what i understand we'll just go up the whole thing nice use of space feels so good to be done with the project only a little late to milking yes tomorrow's butchering but the next day let's hang those let's get our tomatoes and cucumbers there's a turkey out you go that way oh there's a couple out inappropriate well for monetizing on youtube okay totally fair totally fair youtube's youtube's business can make up its own rules that's against the rules that's so be it but that's kind of frustrating as a creator who you guys need to hear you want to hear that kind of stuff right and i guess that's why that's one reason i'm super excited you guys are super excited who i've talked to about abundance plus because guess what we can talk about it all day long and tomorrow when we butcher chickens we can show that in abundance plus we're gonna respect youtube and their rules but we're you a hint we we we rid two two machines for one i don't know if the machine is the right word there it is it's a pellet grill it's a crew and a pellet stove hybrid the beautiful one wants more room for sitting space she's the beautiful one why doesn't that make me the strong one [Music] we got it up there unfortunately we do not have time we have to start cooking tonight special night pizza you like the pizza pizza flavored breast milk tomorrow that's right i tried a carnivorous type pizza no crust just italian sausage a little bit onion a little bit of pepper a dab of pizza sauce and mozzarella on top and that's how it turned out that doesn't actually look too bad let no one be deceived this is no pizza replacement there's something perfect about bread mozzarella a delicious meat a hair seasoning but this is a lot healthier let's see how it is it's pretty good i mean it'll do as a substitute
