This easy cake hack is so good!

all right y'all one box of yellow cake mix including the bag just kidding don't do that and don't get mad at me for saying that uh four eggs four eggs and then this recipe calls for one cup of vegetable oil but y'all y'all know what I've been doing lately so I'm gonna use one cup of applesauce instead hopefully it'll still turn out I'm not sure but it should all right one cup of applesauce all right so now we're gonna do y'all y'all guess what guess what I'm so excited y'all look what I got look at that it's a hand mixer y'all all right so let's uh it's my first time using it let's see okay here we go so now I'm gonna mix this look at that okay I know it's not mixed all the way yet but we have something else to add so I'm just gonna get the dry ingredients from the edges all right y'all I will say that the hand mixer is great the only thing I don't like about it is that it's loud so I can't talk while I'm doing it and I love talking all right so we also gonna add um one can of Mandarin oranges with the juice so what I'm gonna do I'm gonna pour the juice in and I'm gonna mix it with my electric mixer and then I'm gonna pour the oranges in second I'm not sure if that's what you're supposed to do but that's what I'm on okay so I think that's how we need this so I'm just going to move this to the side let those drip all right I'll clean that later um so now we're going to put in the oranges all right got them all got them all um and now I'm just going to mix this like so just with my spatula not even my trusty Fork y'all wow today is a new day look at me I'm not using my trusty fork and I got an electric hand mixer all right this smells good probably because it's a vanilla cake mix all right y'all so we have a 9x13 greased pan here now we're going to pour in our mixture and um yeah we're gonna scrape all this out so we're gonna bake this at 350 for about 40 minutes y'all and I'm real excited to show you all the topping we're going to do on this delicious cake all right y'all while our orange cake is cooking we're gonna make our topping so we have one 20 ounce can of crushed pineapple we have one box of instant vanilla pudding Laura and now we're going to add to this is some Cool Whip we're going to use about 12 ounces so I guess that'll be like not all this but a good amount so we're just going to guess so we're going to fold this all together Cool Whip pineapple vanilla pudding and that's what we're going to do here y'all we're gonna fold this all together and then this we're going to put this in the fridge and then this is going to be the topping for our delicious cake mandarin orange cake that we're making and I'm so excited y'all I'm Gonna Keep mixing this and then y'all see all right y'all so this is our mandarin orange cake I'll let this cool for a while you want to get this completely cool before you um you put the topping on all right so remember this topping we made it was cool whip with pineapple and uh vanilla pudding and this is a lot but we're gonna use it all look how much this is sometimes I crack myself up y'all look at all that I don't I don't even really have to spread it because it's going to spread itself but you know what I like I like thick um thick icing or or whatever Cool Whip whatever this stuff is all right so y'all y'all y'all can Frost this and then leave it in the fridge um but guess what we're gonna taste it right now because it's gonna be delicious all right and I forgot the technical name Pig Pickin cake or something like that all right y'all I gotta try this [Music] um yo okay um I gotta try the cake too but that is delicious y'all you know what I know what else I want to ask out a question have you ever had that uh Green Jello thing it's green Jello it has like cottage cheese and pineapple in it do y'all know what I'm talking about my grandma used to make it and uh yeah I just want to know if y'all know what that is because I want to make it this this topping reminds me of it that's why anyway it's okay that's a real big piece all right y'all I'm excited let's look at this oh my goodness look at this that looks beautiful look at those layers we got those Mandarin oranges that delicious uh Cool Whip layer yeah I'm excited time to eat that's my serving I'm gonna eat the whole thing just kidding all right y'all I already know this is gonna be good because the topping is good look at this bite it's so big I'm just gonna use my hand because why not here we go um
