i am so excited i just watched them put this gorgeous pink vars out on the shelf here but those of you who've been watching my channel for a while will know i'm even more excited about the piece that's hiding under here hello everyone it's tiffany with thrifting vegas i shop at thrift stores estate sales garage sales and discount stores for items i can resell for profit on online platforms like ebay poshmark and offer up it's friday night about four o'clock but as you're watching this it's mother's day so happy mother's day to all the moms watching thank you for all you do probably the hardest but most rewarding job there is i'm just about to turn off the freeway onto cheyenne to go to my favorite goodwill at rainbow it's just about the time that they start restocking for the weekend so i'm excited to see what they have i'll see you there i have to show you this just off to the side of the freeway here there is a busker a guy playing a guitar off the freeway he's very brave the warm weather is here it's may the 6th and it's 100 degrees in las vegas today their 50 off color of the day today is purple so let's go inside and see what they have let's go thrifting there are plenty of carts here so i don't think it's very busy at all i'll take this one the question i get asked most frequently is how do you know what to buy i have no formal training but i've spent most of my life collecting and then later reselling items as a hobby my knowledge comes from years of experience i research things that interest me online by doing a google search for the particular item i've also spent hours and hours in antique shops flea markets and malls learning what different brands and makers pieces look like and feel like and how their price as to what items i pick i buy what i like and what i believe from my experience to be good quality items signed by well-known makers well-made items with few or no flaws and if they're hand painted the painting is nicely done i also keep up with current trends so when i see something that's selling well in the marketplace i can grab it they are restocking these shelves as we speak so let's have a look and see what we can find i am so excited i just watched them put this gorgeous pink vars out on the shelf here but those of you who've been watching my channel for a while will know i'm even more excited about the piece that's hiding under here at this mid-century blue glass dish i think that this is a viking piece based on its color its base it's shape and the way it's made let's pop it in the cart this vars is most definitely murano it's absolutely flawless a somersault style it's only 2.99 and it has an oh getty made in italy sticker these little turkish coasters always sell really well for me and they usually come in a set with a trivet and i just looked over and here is the trivet made in turkey hopefully it's a blue pattern that matches the coasters yes it is look how gorgeous that is no damage absolutely lovely there we go so my friend here is restocking the shelf with a basket full of all sorts of treasures i'm seeing a fenton hop nail little votive candle holder and saucer there's a really interesting airplane down there it looks like it's made out of spent casings a sort of trench art piece that's fabulous there's some other pieces of glass there goes the plane let's see whoa did you did you see that goblet sway and then recover that was amazing let's take a look at this fenton pair here don't see any damage it's 299 for the set let's pop that in the cart and have a look at this plane up here how fun is this it looks like a jet fighter spent casings all glued together that's fantastic how fun let's take that too what else did she put out oh here's a mirror i think this might have been here when i was so excited about the murano and the viking pieces of glass but that's lovely for 5.99 unique and bizarre pieces always do well for me so i'm going to pick up this rooster riding a brutalist penny farthing this is a gorgeous divided clear dish and here is a vintage amber dish for two dollars a piece i'll take both of those way at the back here under all this wrapping paper i'm seeing what looks like a shortbread mold possibly pampered chef oh it's a gingerbread house how cute is that it is a pampered chef it's five dollars but i really like it here we are in the vases lots of clear pieces as usual make sure you move things aside have a look front and back pick things up feel them feel their weight if they feel too light for their size that tells you they're not good quality look at the patterns look at the finish look how the edges are finished you can learn an awful lot oh look at this this is enamel on brass it's 299. it's got some birds on it i really like the colors of that here is a tiny little salt glaze vase how sweet is that there's a little cottage on it that is really lovely let's see it's 69 cents bbp is beaumont brothers pottery it's dated 1991. that's just a lovely piece back here is a libby i think it's a maple syrup bottle these used to sell quite well but now only about a ten to twelve dollar piece two little matching vases here this asian one is quite pretty but it's missing a gold handle at the top there okay this is not a good quality piece do you see uh this submerso here how it's not even it's uh bumpy at the bottom let's compare it to the murano piece the murano is nice and smooth very few floors there's no seams because it's hand blown here we are in the kitchenly bits and i have spotted a hershey's kiss oh unfortunately it is broken off on the very top and even though it's 99 cents we'll have to leave it if you're enjoying the video it would mean the world to me if you could give it a thumbs up drop a comment below and subscribe to my channel with the little red button in the bottom right hand corner of your screen oh back here is a gorgeous bowl this also looks like a viking piece the color is absolutely stunning and the base has a viking look it's absolutely gorgeous these are little dessert cups the red color is flashed on it's painted on it's not within the glass you can see if you look carefully that there's little areas where it's flaking and scratching off so we'll leave those some little tea cups here oddly the teacup doesn't match the saucer they have some sort of code i wonder if they were previously in an auction or whether that's a garage sale price i'm not really sure but we'll leave those here is a lone little sugar bowl some temptations at the back there that doesn't sell as well as it used to oh look at this this looks like a artisan pottery piece it's signed john on the bottom it could be either a little napkin holder or an hors d'oeuvre tray multi-purpose i love the colors i love the speckled finish lovely glaze let's get it back there is a pier one imports basket these are taco holders it's a little crystal candy dish and a butter dish i actually have one of these in my inventory already so i'm not going to pick that up if this was any other color but clear i would probably pick it up it's a nice bowl down here this z gallery didn't know they made bowls sadly this has a massive chip on the side here we are in the metal section there's a clock here it's not good quality some letter trays silver plated bread baskets some garden bits it's a leaf serving tray i'm just checking the bottom for a signature i'm not seeing anything it's not ever such good quality however i think i'm going to pop it in the cart and look on ebay to see if i can find anything similar lots of wall art at the bottom some fans these are quite nice but they are a bit scratched unfortunately and several of the leaves are bent this would be ever so heavy to ship to so i think i'm going to leave it on the shelf for someone else this is a garden piece goes on the wall in your garden it has a ring for a plant in it again very heavy we'll leave that for somebody local little bra scoop here that's really lightweight not good quality a lot of these brass pieces are made in india this one however has some good weight to it horses are great subject matter it's a little um hook caddy for your keys let's take that it doesn't have a price but i'm sure they'll give us one at the counter these are made in india very lightweight brass we'll leave those i am taking my second stroll around the store before i leave to make sure i didn't miss anything this is a very large asian jar i really wouldn't want to ship that and unfortunately i don't have my booth anymore lots of candles shrink it dishes here's a little frog planter and a project piece it's quite fun i think this is a triple frame lots of bags of items here this one looks like it's full of dogs they're all contemporary pieces though nothing of great quality the same with this bag [Music] do look carefully though because sometimes there will be a treasure in one of these bags and it only takes one piece this is gorgeous this is a vintage piece unfortunately the roses are severely chipped and uh half a leaf is missing this is marked usa could have been made by any number of companies that would mark their pieces made in usa when that was required to disclose whether the pieces were from the usa or they had been imported from places like japan or china or germany look at this cherub how lovely a wall hanging for just two dollars really nice quality in size let's get that some big letters up top here m e lots of candle holders just a little planter here quite modern i don't think they restocked further after i came through there's a little soapstone pyramid here that's quite fun just about a ten to twelve dollar piece though little brass an inlaid shell pear i think it's supposed to have a little stem there sadly that is missing let's see if i can open it i think it's supposed to be a little trinket box pop the camera down there we go just see if we can take the lid off pops right off there if it wasn't missing its stem i'd grab it it's a little starfish candle holder if there was a pair of those i would grab them but by itself about an eight to ten dollar piece lots of clear glass the inkwell i found the other week was very very popular with my subscribers so many people were interested in purchasing that inkwell i am on the lookout for more look at this gorgeous dish again this has a viking vibe look at that circle in the bottom and the thickness of the glass this is the seasonal section some polka dot pumpkins down here lots of full items 4th of july and christmas halloween and just a very few easter bits left here's the wood and the baskets the shelves and the frames not much in this section today little houses to hang on the wall lots of baskets here is a little wooden ashtray not sure how safe that is more baskets lots of frames nothing i have to have here is the plastic style i just love the rainbow colors we'll walk down here just in case something got put out here by accident or dropped off in the wrong spot at the end of this aisle are the lamps then the small electronics there's a few bits of furniture and toys in the center it's a little console table a little wicker one dresses some couches and armoires this is an interesting little poof footstool egyptian revival it's only a few dollars but has some significant damage to the fabric here's a fun little cork keeper it's a bit bent and lopsided unfortunately and 5.99 here's the art section look at this couch didn't everybody's parents or grandparents have one of these let's have a look at the pillows and cushions seeing a couple of things i want to check out these tapestry pillows are sometimes worth a good profit this one is a bit of rough shapes quite dirty it's another longer one here again not ever such good quality so we'll leave those and call it a day here on my counter is everything i found at goodwill today bandit found the box i be first we have this very unique and interesting rooster riding a penny farthing bicycle he's made of cast iron and the bicycle has a coppery finish he's really quite heavy i paid 299 for him and i'm going to ask 25. i love the green color of this enameled brass vars it does have some damage on it right here and here where the enamel is flaking off but i think that adds to the age and character of this piece there are two birds at the base and i just love the swirl and the green enamel i paid 2.99 for it and i'm going to ask 25 dollars this had to have been my find of the day it's a no getty murano vaz the artist is luigi ernesto it's a gorgeous sarso technique tear drop bras in pink and clear just stunning and i have found comps ranging from to three hundred dollars all the way up to seven or eight hundred dollars so what i'm going to do is put it up on ebay and take offers this is my favorite piece of the day i believe this is a mid-century piece of glass made by viking i paid 1.99 for it and i value it at 40 to 50 dollars i love avocado glass and this bowl although i don't believe it is viking it's a viking style it's an avocado green i paid 3.99 for it and i'm going to ask 30 dollars similarly this beautiful dish has a viking look and style to it it's a lovely thick glass i'm really not sure who makes it so if you know if you could leave me a comment down below i would really appreciate it it's a beautiful piece would be gorgeous with some grapes or decorative pieces in it i paid 2.99 and i'm just not sure of the value this is another lovely vintage piece it has a sort of bubbly look to the bottom and scrolls at both edges it's divided in the middle it could be used as a relish tray maybe olives or celery sticks sort of hobnailed and raised on the bottom very mid-century i paid 1.99 for it and i'm going to ask 20 this is a lovely brass piece it's an equestrian piece it's a hook wall hanger it's quite heavy brass i paid 399 for it i'm going to ask 25 going to ask 25. i was lucky enough to find a matching set this of these turkish coasters and trivets there's two coasters made in turkey and the matching trivet here the trivet does have a teeny tiny bubble right here just a little chip on the side other than that it's in perfect condition made in turkey i paid 99 cents a piece and i'm going to ask 20 for the set along with the coasters also came think is a liar she's so nicely made she has a wall hanging all ready to go for a hook i paid a dollar 99 for her and i'm going to ask 25. pampered chef makes wonderful kitchen items and this is no exception it's a shortbread mold for a gingerbread house i think it's a schoolhouse because it has a little bell here and a flag it's absolutely lovely it would be really fun to make your own gingerbread house to assemble i paid five dollars for it and i'm going to ask 20 dollars this is a lovely little salt glaze i called it ava's but i think it actually originally came with a cork as a
