good morning everyone my name is jairo today i'm in suzhou in this video we'll be talking about things you can do in studio so make sure you watch the video till the end [Music] sujo was founded 2500 years ago a city west of shanghai is known for its canals bridges and classical gardens the city has the most unesco recognized gardens in the world and it's china's 13th largest city outstanding modern architecture is everywhere most of the city skyscrapers are here in the area known as suzhou industrial park [Music] this is the most iconic building of suzhou city which is called the gate of the east just next to it you can find the biggest shopping mall of suzhou city which is called suja center here you can find all the international and local brands you need [Music] on the other side of suzhou center you can find the jinji lake jinji means golden chicken so an english ginge lake will sound like golden chicken lake the view here is just outstanding that's why many families come here to spend their weekends and evenings [Music] just next to ginger lake there are many bars restaurants and pops so if you decide to come here you will never get bored we are hungry now and it's lunch time and whenever you are hungry in china make sure you eat hot pot for lunch let's go most of the hot pot restaurants in china have any sauce you like and here are some of them [Music] we got four different flavored hot pots the first one is with chilies the second one is with tomatoes with mushrooms and the last one is just water as you see we ordered two different types of beef we got lamb we ordered chopped fish tofu some kind of vegetables and that's it [Music] and this is exactly how i like to eat hot pot i just put the same meat into four different pots and see how they taste [Music] okay we are done with our lunch the hot pot was really delicious and right now we are moving to the old part of the city [Music] subway is one of the best ways to go to the old city there are 5 to 8 stations between suzhou center and the old part of the city depending where exactly you want to go [Music] if you come to suzhou make sure you visit the shantang road shantang street is an asian street which is around 1200 years old it lies between the canals in all sujo city and it starts from the shantang river to tiger hill [Music] the street is around 2.5 miles long and one of the famous things to do when you are walking along the shantung road is to take a boat tour through the shantang canal [Music] tour is a good way to penetrate into the ancient social life buildings here cannot be renovated for heritage reasons that's why many houses here still don't have electricity and water the residents here live like in asian times [Music] after shantangjie we decided to visit the guanchan street guanchan means street in front of the temple it is an old street consisting of a grand taoist building group which has a long history of more than thirteen hundred years there are about ten temples along the street the street is named for a sram meal temple that's because the street starts from that temple this is the xiaomi temple which means mysterious temple [Music] in 1982 the street was designated by the municipal authority as a walking street and the new night market was established it's an outstanding place for those who love street food you can find here chinese fried crabs steamed buns roasted dogs egg pies and all [Music] quantum street has been honored as one of the four most famous walking streets in china [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] okay at the end of our trip we decided to visit the pinjong road it is not far from the guanchan street and it is another historical place where you can have a good time by walking along the street having dinner in the traditional restaurants and taking nice pictures [Music] [Music] if you liked our video about sujo make sure you subscribe to our channel so you won't miss the next videos we have prepared for you thank you again for watching see you next time [Music] you
