Things To Do During Cataclysm Classic Prepatch (Cataclysm Preparation Guide)

what is up guys it's your boy swam here back with another classic W video for Wrath of the L King Classic or the catm pre- patch now today I want to talk about things to do during the cism pre patch and I'll be touching a little bit on my own preparations so far as well in the same video now this is for you guys who maybe are not sure exactly what to spend the P patch doing or you just want to minax your prep for cataclysm as well and I'll be going into a little bit of everything that you can do during the P patch both for prep yourself for the expansion things you can do right now to get um you're basically doing stuff right now and then getting gear at level 85 in cism which is massively beneficial and it's just a lot of things that you really want to get done during the pre patch so first of all let's talk about the obvious one justice points farming you want to farm justice points in the cism pre patch if you haven't already kept them out and this has a 4,000 cap now a lot of people myself included we have already farmed emblems to reach this cap that being said you can farm this just as efficiently when the pre patch comes out if you have emblems right now these will be converted to Justice point and if you have emblems you want to have Frost and Triumph and together you want to have 346 emblems if you have that amount you will automatically get the justice points cap when this gets converted at the pre patch and then you will already be at the cap that being said if you're lacking anything Farm out the last few that you are lacking and any one that you have like over the cap will be converted to raw gold values so either when to have 346 emblems before the pre- patch comes out or Farm justice points in the pre patch as well now I've been searching online to see how much justice points various activities gives you but literally the same way you were farming emblems in the past is how you farm justice points in the pre patch so for example you can do your random daily So Random dungeons every single day to get you two emblems of Triumph or a bonus justice points in the pre- patch you can do random heroics and each boss kill also gives you justice points in addition to that we have the daily Quest and the weekly Quest over in dalaran that will also give you at least the weekly Quest will still give you justice points the daily Quest might be baked into the dungeon finder in the pr patch that one is a little bit up the blissard and what they decide to do but the weekly Quest is still worth doing every single week so take a look at that Weekly Quest if you haven't reached that cap yet now I've gotten an image here of how to get justice points so this will show you all the various activities you can do to get justice points and what you can do now versus if you don't have this camp and you have to do it when cataclysm comes out as you can see you can easily Farm These in cataclysm so like one heroic dungeon boss in cataclysm would give you 70 justice points versus right now one would give you 24 that being said the heroic dungeons in Wrath they are way faster than the cataclysm ones and to queue up for Heroic dungeons in cataclysm well you need to have quite a bit of item level to do that so um as you can see here they do you really want to have those justice points right now because in order to queue up for Heroic dungeons I think you need 333 item level if not even more which is really hard to get in cataclysm like when I played cataclysm back in the days in order to queue up for heroics I had to buy a full set of Blues on the oron house Farm out reputations with r kahen and other factions as well to get to honored so we had to like spend a days farming reputations and also buy an epic Boe on the Ocean House and then finally I had enough item level it's kind of RNG as well depending on the class you play and how much you want to Chee this you can go into them normally but if you want to queue up you need to have some item level now the thing is you can farm this justice points cap now in Wrath and go into cataclysm with 4,000 justice points that allows you to buy two or three items of loot items of gear at level 85 which is a big boost by the way so definitely cap your justice points doing these activities that you can see right now on the screen so you can do both the Wrath of the L King weekly raid quest for 138 uh justice points you can do Wrath of the L King heroic dungeon for 24 the bonus at the end you can do raid bosses for 24 per raid boss or 16 per heroic boss also of the L King normal daily dungeon also gives you 12 and for some reason you can do some burning Crusade activities as well to get justice points so there we go you might be able to farm your transmogs and get justice points at the same time tldr Farm justice points get that cap you will thank yourself when cataclysm comes out another currency you really want to max out is honor points you want to farm these out it's going to be a new cap in the prepatch of 4,000 honor points so as you can see for me I have farmed out 75,000 honor now this will not be the cap in the pre patch like even if you have cap right now this will not be captain in Pre patch I think based on the math I've done I should be about 2k out of 4K combining both the owner points I have right here and the winter grass marks of honor I'm going to be 2K plus which means I still have to do some Battlegrounds in the prepatch as well on this character now I have prepped four characters this is only one of them but it's my main or my second main so I've been prepping a little bit now you want to make sure you have your honor cap right now and in the pre patch get 4,000 honory so farm that cap the thing is when cataclysm comes out you can spend these honor points one or two ways you can buy PVP gear for honor points as per usual which gives you an item level boost which once again helps you to queue for Heroic dungeons because once again the heroic dungeon requirements in cataclysm are way higher than what you are used to and it will be difficult to get there so you can spend your honor points to kind of boost your item level a little bit you're chasing it or you can also convert honor points to justice points in cataclysm which means that by having your own cap you can exceed your justice points cap and buy one more item of justice points which gives you a really good item by the way a lot a lot of people get their pre-raid B from Justice points or a really good upgrade from just justice points so you can spend your honor points convert them to your Justice points all though at a reduced rate so having three 4,000 honor points will not get you another 4,000 justice points but about 2k justice points maybe even slightly higher but you can convert your owner points to justice points at a reduced rate so you want to have capped out both your justice points and your honor points in the pre patch this will massively help you out at level 85 now after you have done that that is your main set now you're pretty much good to go now it's time the level alt we have two new races coming with the preat we have wargin and we have goblins this means that you can level as a brand new race brand new starting zone I personally love being a wargan hunter for example or even like there's a couple of Warg that I do enjoy I don't like the casting animations for Warg that's just me but Hunters they're kind of fine melees are also kind of fine and the Druid forms are really cool goblins as well that they're Mount is fantastic and they have like a reduced vendor price on buying certain things so if you if you if you've been waiting for goblins or wargin well now is your time in addition to that you can level up Alchemists for cataclysm which you can do transmutes on a daily cool down and make a lot of gold alternatively if you need true gold for example on your main you can use your alt to funnel craft for your main because doing these crafts has a daily cool down if you only have one Alchemist and you need let's just say you need 15 or something that will take you 15 days if you have 15 Alchemists you can get all of them in one single day so you can use your alt to help funnel and boost your main that way as well and the same thing goes for tailor we have the dream weave craft coming in cataclysm which is basically the same thing you're already used to you're doing like think about it like mooncloth you're crafting immon cloth it has a daily cooldown or more than a daily coold down it has a cooldown and you can craft them with tailoring and you can like the more tailor you have the more you can make basically it's a little bit different in cataclysm which I'll get more into later where you can check it out in my cataclysm gold making guide that being said you also have some brand new class and class and um race combinations coming in the pre patch as well another reason to level alss if you've been wanting to play a shaman on the Alliance side but you hate draai like me I don't like being a danai but I do love shamans we can finally be dwarf shamans so I'm going to level a dwarf Shaman I also think human Hunters are coming in the pre patch so we have a bunch of brand new class and roll combinations or class and race combinations that you can also level in the pre- patch in addition leveling will be way faster in the peat as well with the suering of asero which also means that you will have brand new quests to do leveling will be a whole in new experience for example Eastern play glands goes from being from level 53 to 60 to being a high level 40s Zone which is really weird so they're reshaping pretty much everything and the leveling experience will be way different for me I would say it's definitely worth experiencing that leveling experience if you haven't before so go and give it a try another new feature which is coming with the cism preat is trans mug you should start farming your trans mugs right now now for the essence of this just being a prep video and things to do during the pre- patch don't think about the Boe transm and the gold farming aspect here but think about if you want to do some raids think about black Temple think about old TBC raids any transm that you you really want to have for your class go out and farm them now the more you farm now the less you have to farm in cataclysm itself the good thing about transm as well is that we have a collection tab right now in Wrath and we will have in cataclysm which means that when you learn a at transmog you will have it on all classes of that um of that same armor type so you can Farm on a leather character for example and have learned that appearance on your account for leather then you can Farm on a cloth user and learn that appearance for all cloth users on that account as well as long as the item is not bound to a certain class so you can Farm on your Druid for your Rogue like that way as well right so you can Farm a bunch of transmogs and I would recommend doing that in the pre patch maybe some of you are planning to change Mains as well to a wargan or to a goblin and you have to farm transmogs over again well now's your time spend the pre Patch form the transm you want to have and then you're good to go for cataclysm itself now apart from that there's a couple of various things as well that you can spend the pre- patch doing so here we go max out your professions if you haven't already the catholism professions builds further on the professions you already have so if you have for example here go into skills you have 450 skill in herbalism you you're just going to keep building on this in cataclysm so you want to make sure you have 450 skills in all your professions whatever that might be so for me I'm lacking fishing I'll be spending the pre patch and the next coule cple of days just Skilling up fishing passively I do hate fishing but it's really good to have if you care about gold making at all so fishing big thumbs up really boring though but um still good to have so I'm going to skill that up spend the time you have the skill up the professions that you need you know you need to have in cataclysm on your various characters now if you want to take this one step further if you have a crafting profession for example you can even start prepping some skill points for the early stages of cataclysm you can go from 425 to 450 with Wrath of the Lich King Classic Materials in a lot of professions and some of them might even be pretty cheap to craft could even be cheaper than cataclysm craft based on cataclysm being a new expansion and everyone wanting those materials so you could scale up your first couple of skill points using old materials which you can start prepping right now prepping and stockpiling apart from that you also want to max out your flying for cataclysm we can fly in the old zones of asero like cindor e Kingdom and we can fly in the catm zones having maxed out flying will first of all help you level faster help you move faster help you travel from A to B faster it's just really good to have in addition we have a new profession coming out called archaeology which massively depends on you having flying speed and flying from Zone to Zone and from dig site to dig site so definitely make sure you have your main maxed out for flying but even the alts that you intend to play you should have the maximum amount of flying that you can have which could be costly but it is what it is apart from that make sure to go back and finish the professions or the reputations that you haven't already think about transmogs there's quite a few transmogs especially crafted items coming from reputations in the past you can also get titles by farming reputations and a good couple of like recipes for your professions it's just a fun little bonus activity to go back out and do you can even Farm Mounds like TBC Mounds by having exalted with very ious factions in TBC even in Wrath you can Farm Mounds in Wrath by having exalted with for example the sons of hir and stuff like that so if you want to have have those mounts if you want to have those professions done do it now during the prepatch that way you don't have to come back and do it in cism apart from that a lot more in cataclysm I've been raiding quite a bit in Wrath as well I do love the cism raids except for dragon soul but all the other ones are really good I do really enjoy them and um I'm going to
