BUT I CAN TELL YOU, EVERY MI MINUTE, THAT HILLSIDE IS MOVING. >> THAT HOUSE WAS LITERALLY BROKEN INTO HALF LIKE THIS. >> COUNTY AND CITY LEADERS RETURNED TO PAIR TREE LANE MONDAY AFTERNOON WHERE TONIGHT 12 HOMES CONTINUE TO SLIDE DOWN THIS HILLSIDE AND 16 MORE NOW AT RISK. >> EVERYTHING IS COLLAPSING. SHE CONFIRMED -- >> IT'S UP TO THE HOA TO HIRE THE GEOLOGIST BUT I DON'T KNOW IF WE HAVE ANY UPDATE BECAUSE SOME OF THE RESIDENTS WHOSE HOMES ARE NOT MOVING YET WOULD ALSO LIKE A LITTLE BIT OF UNDERSTANDING IF THERE'S ANYTHING THEY CAN DO TO SHORE UP. >> SHE VOLUNTARILY LEFT WITH HER KIDS SUNDAY AFTER THIS VIDEO FROM HER FRONT DOOR OF THE HOME SHE BOUGHT JUST TWO WEEKS AGO. >> WE DIDN'T FEEL SAFE BECAUSE NOBODY KNOWS HOW BAD IS GOING TO BE. >> A GLIMMER OF HOPE FOR THOSE WHO LOST EVERYTHING. THE COUNTY ASSESSOR WHO TOURED THE DAMAGES ALREADY WORKING TO MAKE SURE HOMEOWNERS WON'T HAVE TO PAY PROPERTY TAXES ONE TIME. >> THERE ARE NO IMPROVEMENTS, IT'S A TOTAL LOSS AND THE LAND BENEATH THEM WILL BE I HILLSIDE SO WHEN WE ARE DONE, THEY WILL HAVE NOMINAL VALUE. >> SUPERVISOR ON DID SAY HE REACHED OUT TO THE GOVERNOR IN HOPES OF DECLARING THE STATE OF EMERGENCY WHICH MEANS MORE RESOURCES AND MONEY COULD BE BROUGHT IN.
