These Tracks Were Made by Our BIGGEST FAN!

gentlemen how are you doing today fine fine too long and now I lost first place oh I'm sorry well I know Merry Christmas uh happy holidays to those who don't celebrate today we're going to be checking out some tracks made by one of our biggest fans con uh goes by the username numbat uh he's a bit of a younger viewer but dedicated nonetheless and so I figured let's check out some of his tracks interesting yep you know what I'm really upset about what are you upset about not getting first place you'll be okay man you'll be okay I will not I refused alrighty so I've played each one of these once just to kind of check them out and these are all pretty cool I'm not gonna lie okay this one requires you to really like check your speed you know definitely some like simple but challenging Concepts that I think make these tracks pretty cool features in first place shout out to numbat that's right yoink my speed yep all right feeds you got a break I don't care I don't care I did a front flip how's that nice dude that is excellent wow you actually made it yeah like what the heck here we go what what do you mean and you're faster than me you were still faster than me and get wrecked this guy oh my gosh oh I see you're supposed to break on that Hill apparently yeah you are because otherwise you don't make the landing and then the The Landing space is a little short so you might have some trouble interesting okay yup it's definitely one of those like how many milliseconds can you shave off your time yeah the hard part with this one too is because you have no speed throughout any of these boosters oh there's a huge skip yeah well you can like you can skip the whole jump I think but I don't know if that's faster I I don't know everyone's driving I see that I see that yeah I actually figured that out as well but I feel like because you get the booster off oh no people are definitely getting faster times it's gonna be way faster it's gonna be way faster for sure yeah unintended skip optimize it even more yep yep I got a 41.5 but I was slow that is an unintended skip I think I think so but let's see who can optimize this time it's like a desert bus desert bus I don't think I've ever played that but you've never played desert me neither me neither this guy it's literally driving a pixelated bus for like 40 hours and the bus always pulls to the left slightly so you can't just like leave it on autopilot you have to like actually correct the steering somebody didn't do an alignment you think I should make a desert kissed DLC that'd be awesome desert bus for zapegist that'd be awesome we could make a desert what's the maximum time you can sit on a track and say because infinite basically like in the lobby it'll let you set an infinite time oh um like the length of the lobby I think it's like an hour ooh okay so there you go we just gotta make a 55 minute track I'm literally gonna copy my 10 minute track six times and then make a new track I'm trying it out it doesn't cost a perfectly straight road but it pushes you to the left so just have a perfect straight ball with fans can't get me to fight the fans dude that would be so strange that's the whole thing is just stay on the perfectly flat track right it would kind of be like the long drive but in Vape kissed right like the fancy inconsistent power so it's not always like the same amount of steering it like fluctuates over time but you're still just going straight so you're always like fighting the steering and that's like basically the desert boss man honestly I want to remake the long drive and save kiss it's totally doable oh the long deep the long zeep yep that's right uh Hey Cosmo the round length was it four minutes or five minutes it was five minutes but I'm setting it to four actually right now okay form oh you're okay I just changed it before me too you too okay sounds good how are people I'm getting a 32. I don't know dude they've got to be like quick around the corners there we still have to hit all the checkpoints right like yeah I don't know I don't know that's a good question is round length it's zero for me the timer right now right uh nope I got 40 seconds 38 seconds left weird it says zero for me huh ax you should probably turn your monster off it might not like me going in there and doing a shenanigan probably not I see people also going straight from the start to the Finish while they're doing the uh the annual percent Speed Run yeah oh I was like what are you guys doing yeah it's like there's clearly checkpoints I had the same reaction the first time like what is going on here yeah those 32s man I don't know how these these guys are so fast that's cool well they're doing the inside wall ride on the on the first sand corner right yeah but I was still keeping a lot of speed out of it true true well that was the first track by numpad let's check out the second one needs one more checkpoint on the job agree just one more checkpoint and it would be Mint or cheeses alrighty I forget what this one is but good luck level 07 oh I remember this one yeah good luck oh no what is it there's actually a skill shortcut here which is kind of cool oh I think everyone is going over I think so because people don't like realize they have to slow down so they just kind of eat but then you still have to be like dead on the middle of the jump I think to actually make that heat so people are either gonna decide to keep grinding to eat or they're gonna decide to take the you know the longer slower more safe way and uh yeah oh no I I actually had a good jump but I had a landing bug why does a ladybug happen do you know yeah Unity physics okay thanks Unity thanks for nothing oh yeah [Music] gotcha I was just curious I wasn't like harassing you about it or anything yeah no the thing is like all of these game engines they keep making updates to their Graphics like oh we got a high definition super extreme rendering right but we're all still using Nvidia physics of like two thousand years ago can we please make a ray traced physics engine I don't know like yeah is that too much to ask for guys come on Unity I'm paying you nothing over here I'm paying you nothing you can do your job make better software for free please is Unity open source or no I don't know anything though no no I think you need to pay money if you make like many many millions of dollars or something like that okay okay boys I'm gonna go for a slow time here I'm just gonna set a time you know uh you guys are setting times there seems to be a big cheese if you just drive around the map oh really I'm gonna try that but everyone I've noticed a lot of people jumping off at the first Loop and then just trying to drive around the map oh interesting I don't know if that's faster though because like you're kind of losing time going diagonally don't you think well I don't know that's the thing I don't know but that's I've noticed people have been trying it interesting interesting we're gonna be able to get back on the track though because the finishes are all inside that little yeah yeah they're inside the structure so yeah that's why I'm confused you see a lot of people yeah they're all just jumping off and that that doesn't make any sense to me but okay I guess you know the people have figured something out ah barely made that slalom holy moly wait can you hit the Finish from the side and finish still I don't know probably not oh I that's long was that oh I see yeah there's a slalom right at the end full speed full speed I did the first time and now I can't even get back there okay slightly better time here let's go please don't bounce please don't bounce okay oh oh okay [Laughter] it did not follow my instructions okay I have one more one more left if I get like the perfect time okay back of the slalom section [Laughter] every time man dude that's all you got a break for like I know I know but it's cool because like it teaches you how to like break but also do it conservatively so that you don't lose all of your speed I thought it was pretty neat I actually haven't finished this one and I think it's kind of long so just you know just keep that in mind there are a lot of checkpoints on this one nine checkpoints yup guys it's tumbleweeds yeah I just thought it was cool because it's got tumbleweeds it has some pretty cool jumps as well so oh if you guys try tumbleweeds and sleds yet are those interact well yes yes but no I haven't built a track but I've played some recently that had them why what are you alluding to my friend or like sounds like a fun shenanigan oh heck yeah heck to the end I tried making a track with a lot of tumbleweeds and the only thing that I was disappointed on is that they despawn and I'd love to be able to adjust the spawn oh no oh no okay thank goodness are you gonna have permanent tumbleweeds if you wanted to you know right yeah so now they can stick to you forever yeah well didn't they used to they used to but then they never did okay like saves performance but sometimes some rare occasions you just don't want them to despawn right okay but if you don't despawn them but then the entire level will just fill up yeah until you reset right so it's like yeah or until your computer runs out of memory yeah I got 64 gigs I'm pretty sure it'll be a while oh I think people are jumping off the tracks because they're trying to do like an 80 Speed Run and they they I guess they think that's faster but it's the idea but like that's not implemented yeah it's not I think they just do it for the sake of doing it I I want to do that like once the the 1.0 version of zapegist is out basically I want to add like you say next game well yeah that's next week it's not next week so once it once the new adventure is here I want to like uh if you finish it you can do it again except freestyle mode no checkpoint just go for it yeah because the Finish still registers your time right so yeah you can just disable the checkpoints and then you compare how many checkpoints you have you know if you got zero checkpoints and you have a time then there is your speed run time uh well yeah I want to make it a dedicated Adventure Mode oh cool cool that'd be neat or like extra special you should do it the way that they do dedicated no checkpoints in track Mania though how's that where like delete the check literally delete the checkpoint blocks on every level and that's it so if there was a row there with a checkpoint now there's a gap yeah and yeah I feel like that's a lot more difficult in zapes because in trackmania you can like it's just oh well yeah you might end up you might end up making possible levels that way probably yeah but hey somebody will figure out how to do it guys come on you know the community don't figure it out they'll figure it out I think I'm gonna better time here I think I might still set a second time I will not no okay noted oh man oh man these uphill jumps if you can get those you're you're golden okay on that first booster and then like right curve into the [Music] all right here we go and finish with a slower time sick nice alrighty one more I'm actually gonna set this one to three minutes simply because it's a shorter track and uh that'll that'll also spice up the competition a little bit hell yeah lightning rounds I actually kind of enjoy lighting rounds yeah it's pretty fun facts heavy short though one minute track and lightning rounds is a little long yes I agree yeah you don't have much much attempts you have much time to you only have like one or two runs yeah that's good all righty boys I don't understand I thought this one was really cool so I went with it oh okay that one doesn't okay yep there's got some tangible blocks up in this okay busy here we go but they're not all intangible so just you know keep that in mind some of them are some of them the parts have been green green yeah I actually haven't found a pattern but I'm sure there is one actually I'm not sure but if you guys can figure one out that'd be cool there we go 29. let's see everybody uh see how everybody's doing here I'm going too fast oh people are just flying over now the reason I like this one is because you still have to manage like it's simple but you have to manage your angles you have to manage your speed you know you got to manage your jumps so all the people are just crashing into the back wall there because they're not setting up for the jump properly I've yet to see one of you guys come flying through we are not skilled yeah you are let's stop it watching people are found to figure out which ones are intangible or not I think oh my God let the crowd figure it out and then let them Bond their heads oh yeah War camps is going for my time wow okay I gotta get back into it [Music] I saw workouts like the same path as I did and I'm like he's gonna set a bomb time what's your path I do green green orange and then I'm I do like yellow yellow orange type deal yeah like yeah yellow yellow orange is my path [Music] how does this work well very carefully don't hit your head [Music] very carefully oh I don't know if this is going to be fast 22 I think he I think he did what I theorized doing and that's just jumping excuse me I don't know how to do that actually how does that make sense I don't know man I don't know oh I think I know the CTR boys are built different okay they can figure some stuff out I know they got the breaks right up and if he gets enough speed probably I have like one yeah they wall right up it 100 okay boys we got to do this we have 28 seconds let's go [Music] ride up the last jump basically do you think yeah I think it's over the last jump you just skip it and then oh I lost my speed uh well that's it um that's it forecast for the 20. that's insane that is a speed run and a half always work
