today we're going on the weekly run and we're going to hit as many goodwills as we can [Music] before we get to our very first goodwill i want to take you guys to one of my favorite places in vancouver and i haven't taken you guys here in a long time and it's called fabulous flippin treasures and it is a large vintage mall in vancouver washington off of fourth plane and they've got a ton of stuff here as soon as i got in the door these brass goblets caught my eye you guys know i am such a sucker for brass but then i spotted here on the left this incredible large brass bowl it's got some really amazing kind of mid-century brutalist style design on it and it's only 28 for a piece this size i feel like that is a great deal so i immediately grabbed a shopping cart because this place is pretty big and it's got a lot of different vendors this is one of those places that is great to come with your entire family and all your friends because they have something for everybody lots of different eclectic styles here and i usually find really good figurines [Music] the color on this is really beautiful and as soon as i picked it up i realized it had draggings on it it has a japanese stamp there on the bottom and it is only fourteen dollars [Music] a beautiful decorative piece that's going in the cart so i have seen carved wood lamps that are this ornate and detailed made in india but i have never seen a vase or candle holder whichever this is 18 each is such a great deal i'm grabbing both of these and these are going to be coming to my next shop sale which is coming up next week my next sale is july 2nd and my sale launches at 3 p.m pacific time on my website leftcoastrevivals.com [Music] i have so many vintage treasures that are coming to the shop sale including some really amazing sterling silver jewelry that i just got from an estate so i can't wait to show you guys that this is one of my favorite spaces in the entire vintage mall and you can easily see why there's a ton of brown things i always find really good carved wood and sculptural pieces here and pottery including this set right here this one's really beautiful these little carved wood bowls from india are perfect for setting out hors d'oeuvres on [Music] this is a really unique piece i've never seen something like it it looks like a handmade piece it's an adorable little ladybug they've got 33 dollars on there which is probably a very fair price for such good craftsmanship but i'm gonna pass on it today i think it's really adorable though and i hope somebody finds it and loves this no one's surprised that that's sitting right there just waiting for me to spot on the floor always look inside the jewelry cases because you can find hidden treasures that are not just the jewels this piece here is only 24 and it looks to me like a very picasso inspired piece it says it was from a museum i really love the coloring and the abstract style so i'm going to pick that one up for sure and i also found this cute little bird in there too not bad for the first stop of the day fabulous flippin treasures provided i haven't been there in quite a while and i was very excited about all the things that i got from there today including this dude right here i'm pretty sure that this is a copy of a picasso piece so fantastic and i love the little smiley face in it it was 24 and i didn't even look up comps online because i got this piece for myself and i don't know if you are like me but i don't like to buy things online unless i can't find it anywhere else or i can't find it for a better deal i personally like to have the experience of finding it in person and i love this guy he's so cool my husband and i have been collecting mid-century tiki pieces and these look like they would be carved wood but they're not can you hear that they're actually painted ceramic salt and pepper shakers and they were only seven dollars for the pear and you gotta have salt and pepper if you're having a party this was another piece that was a little deceiving this one i thought was pottery and it's metal it's a vintage japanese piece and it's got these kind of sea dragons right there i thought that was really cool and the color on it is beautiful based on the inside with that kind of dirty look in there i think someone has probably used this as a planter i think that would be beautiful this is the kind of thing i like to put up on a plant stand something that raises it up a little bit gives it a pedestal look and then you have this beautiful greenery just overflowing out of it fabulous flipping treasures had some fabulous flipping good deals for me today this was only 28 i feel like for such a substantial brass pot with such unique markings on it at a vintage store i would think that this would have been at least 60 or 70 dollars this is a big honker right here so fantastic i can see this being used in so many different styles of decor again this is what i love to do with plants is to raise them up just a little bit and then you can have a plant here that's a little bit smaller and then a plant over here that's a little bit smaller and then you have this giant beast here in the center and now for my favorite pieces from fabulous flippin treasures these are so unbelievably incredible they are giant carved wood candle holder i don't know i personally like to use these as vases and here's why if you put a big drippy candle up here and it drips all over in this beautiful carved detail how are you going to get that wax out my suggestion would be to take a skinny clear vase you can find one at goodwill for a buck or two or a giant test tube pop it in there and then you can have the wood protected and use this as a vase because how pretty would that be maybe with like two palms coming out of it so incredible i got two of these and they were only 18 each so i wanted to show you guys i thought that i possibly was already gonna have some glass tubes that would work in here to pour the water inside so that the water doesn't get on the wood and damage it but they kind of go in but not all the way unfortunately they don't fit i was hoping to be able to sell this as a complete ready-to-use set but that's okay they're so stunning and beautiful [Music] now let's go find some incredible deals at goodwill we are going to be hitting several of the vancouver washington goodwill locations and this first one is one of my favorites [Music] sculptural wood pieces are very popular right now i feel like i cannot find enough of them to keep them in my shop and this little birdie is only 2.99 this is one of the best goodwills in vancouver for smalls i always find really great things down the wood and the metal aisle [Music] this looks like it might be oregon myrtle wood which i always grab for my shop sales and as you can see i kind of have a theme going right now [Music] i only ended up grabbing two things at that goodwill even though it's one of my favorites but i was just there a couple days ago so i'm not too surprised and now we're gonna head to battleground washington which is about a 30 minute drive from the last goodwill we were just at but it is always worth the trip up here they have the best antiques for any of the local goodwills [Music] borrower seems to sell the best in the winter season i think everybody gets home and gets cozy and makes their little beverages and entertains but i do like to pick up pieces off season because that's when you can find the best deals these are really beautiful but i do have another set almost identical to them stashed away so i am going to pass on these but i am going to grab this beautiful vase it's a very old heavy one it is only 7.99 i think this possibly could be an authentic art nouveau piece not positive but it is so beautiful it's got the flowers on it i'm going to grab it either way i used to have this exact set of vintage brass chargers these are great for staging things but right now i have all square plates so i think i'm going to pass on these ones today but they really do look great when you use them to layer and give that pop of that brass color underneath your plate this is not something that i typically pick up for my shop i don't do a lot of blown glass but i know these do sell for quite a bit online and i really do like the texture and the color on this one so for 9.99 i'm going to go ahead and grab it and see how it does on my sale when i did flea markets before the pandemic about 30 of the items that i sold were pottery i have always done really well on vintage pottery and these bowls are beautiful it's hard to ship pieces like this that can be so fragile so you really need to double check them and make sure that there are no hairline fractures because if there is a fracture it means it's a lot more likely it could possibly break in shipping these ones all look great and i'm going to get the set this mesa pattern is one of my very favorites i really like the simplicity of them these have always sold really well in my shop and i know a lot of people have even reached out asking if i have found any more so here you go i've got the large mixing bowl and the medium size and don't forget to look in the jewelry at goodwill because you never know when you're going to find a mid-century swedish moose [Music] you see me pick up brass vases all the time but it's not very often that i find something that has this very artisan unique hammered brutalist look i really like this one and that is a great deal on it i can't get this because it just does not fit the aesthetic of my shop i'm just not a unicorn person and i know someone is going to find this that absolutely loves it it is very very cute for a unicorn piece but this hand painted mexican folk art pottery bowl definitely fits my aesthetic and it is only 4.99 this might be one of my favorite finds today actually because i really love the coloring on it [Music] just kidding this is my favorite find today this is a 1970s leather and suede jacket and the best part about this one is it actually has all of the buttons and it has the belt that's really hard to find in vintage coats and it's only 19.99 [Music] this is the largest set i have ever found at goodwill of all matching brass faces from india these are my favorite ones because you know i love the black and brass ones i can't believe it's an entire set i'm gonna grab all of them [Music] this is the first time i've come across an iron wood shark i typically like to pick up the lions or the cactus or the roadrunners but you know a shark will have to do for today i'll take it these chinese ironstone vases are so beautiful and they can be quite valuable i love the colors on this one and the stamp here on the bottom appears that it could be pretty old i'm definitely going to get it either way just because of the beauty of it but i'll get home and do some googling and see how much it's worth i probably have five lamps right now that i'm on the hunt for new lampshades for well not new lampshades you know me new vintage lamp shades and i think the shape on this one and the color will work really well it does have a stain right there but i think it's going to work i could probably get that out or just flip it around i have a lamp i think this will work for and i can't wait to show you what it looks like with it these retail for quite a lot online and honestly i would have gotten it just because of the colors and the beauty in it not just because of the value if you're on the hunt for one of these pieces here's the hallmark to look for very easy to spot it's got a big old crown and it says iron stone china double check to make sure there's no cracks or chips because i feel like these pieces sometimes do have pretty big fissures in them this one's in perfect condition 7.99 and this should retail for probably around 70 to 80 dollars meet one-eyed bill he's got one eyeball there he's missing that one but he's still fantastic that's vintage for you always critters always cranes this guy's fantastic carved wood someone spent a lot of time making this and it was only 2.99 so you guys probably already know that i love iron wood pieces but i've never seen the shark before i kept feeling like something was missing from it but i think he has all of his fins i think he's good to go it was 6.99 and these ironwood pieces are very collectible i've seen people that have a collection of 30 to 40 different animals so i felt like this was worth picking up even though i wouldn't say i'm a big shark person but for the fact that it's something unique and i've never come across it before that's always a good reason to pick it up i'm not positive on the wood on this but it looks a lot like oregon myrtle wood very pretty i love the minimal simple sleek design so pretty with just a single little flower in it 4.99 for a hand painted bowl this one's great because it's got the three little feet on it such beautiful coloring and pattern on it this is kind of the look i want to go for in little italy my rooftop terrace of my new house i really want to add some kind of like spanish tile it's called little italy but it's going to have a little bit of everything in it i normally do not pick up christmas things out of season because otherwise they just pile up and half the time i forget where i put my christmas box and then i don't end up listing them in my sale but i know that i'm going to have a big christmas sale this year and i want you guys to get as many treasures as possible this one was only 2.99 and it's the old heavy brass ones you see the one where they're standing up a lot but you don't come across the ones where they're laying down resting very often so for 299 i'm going to stash it away and it'll be coming to my shop sill in december if i remember where i put it so rad to come across this entire collection all together i love brass fluted vases and these ones are my favorite because i really like the two-toned look with the contrast of the brass and the black and i've never found an entire collection so this is gonna be really pretty so i'm gonna pop some flowers in this and show you guys how i would style up these vases [Music] they came with a little elephant dude too i have a trio of handmade pottery mixing bowls and i think that they are a must in any kitchen this set's really beautiful it's got a blue rim going around the top and they were 3.99 4.99 and then i think 5.99 for the larger one none of them had any chips or cracks which is so wonderful to find these pieces from the 70s or 80s with no chips in them and i have a little trick for how to make them look good on your shelf and also to help prevent them from chipping when you set them inside each other i don't do a lot of hand blown glass and this is the first time that i've picked up one of these pieces but i do know that they sell for a lot on ebay and etsy and i thought the coloring on this one was really pretty i don't know if you can see it it's almost like a deep amethyst color when the light hits through it there's a handful of pottery patterns that i would collect if i already didn't have myself stuck to my fabrique pottery and this is probably one of them i like them because they are just this perfect beautiful matte blue but then when you look at the rim it's got this very cool kind of almost like a geometric southwestern detail on them they're very collectible and i've always sold them really well in the past and one thing that i try to stick to with my shop is i only buy it if i love it because i have found that is the biggest key to success in selling the things that you buy as a reseller buy what you love and if you love it someone else is probably gonna love it too here comes all the dust now there are two things you know i'm gonna buy every time i go thrifting hats and coats and this one is amazing i'm so excited about this coat it fits me perfectly so i'm really sorry it's not going to be available in my shop sale but i am going to be upgrading which means that i'll probably replace maybe two coats with this one and these 70s coats are so incredibly well made so if you can find one that's still in great condition you're gonna have it for the rest of your life and for twenty dollars a coat that's gonna last me a lifetime is a great investment when i had them open the case at fabulous flipping treasures to get my picasso inspired bowl out of i also spotted this hand-carved wooden and brass bird and i thought it was really great i was a little worried what the price might be on it but it ended up only being fifteen dollars and i feel like this is something i can get forty to fifty dollars for so he came home with me so the crane was one-eyed bill and this is two-eyed bob because he's got both his eyes the lampshade actually works really well with this beautiful raven lamp that i got at goodwill a few months back i have still been trying to find out who the designer is on this piece it's a 1970s stoneware lamp and i have not been able to find a signature anywhere on here and i've done a lot of online research i have not found the designer but i really really love this piece and i knew i wanted a lampshade that had a little bit of this shape to it i think this might possibly be just a tad too small but darn it's really really close and it's gonna work for me for now do any of you guys know the exact designer rule of thumb for lamp shades i'm not sure if there's a certain point that's not supposed to be showing maybe it's the brass ring right here if you get eye level that's not supposed to show but either way i think it looks pretty darn good for five dollars not bad once i got everything home and i pulled out this amazing lamp and i've got these beautiful vases here i could kind of see a really fun neutral color palette going here but i also love my color so i think i'm going to play around with all of my finds from today and i'm going to show you guys two completely different vignettes for how you can use these beautiful wooden vases and have a completely different look [Music] i love a good neutral space i think it is so calming and pleasing to the eye and i feel like it makes it so easy to mix and match pieces that maybe you would think have nothing to do with each other but if they're all in the same color palette they end up blending so beautifully together [Music] and here it is with more pops of color now i use some of the same pieces but obviously i switched out some of them just to give it a little bit more of that bohemian feel and i'm pretty happy with how this one turned out i feel like it's a little bit different for me because i used pink flowers and that's not something that i typically add into my decor it's so fun to play around with to see how just a colorful pop of pink in the flowers can completely change the look of the space and that's something that i recommend if you're wanting to play around to see how you like different color combinations or maybe what colors you might want to introduce to your space use flowers because it is so inexpensive especially if you grow them yourself and it's not a commitment you can still keep all of the neutral pieces that you've invested in and they're no risk at all and then if you wake up one morning and you're just in a really colorful fun mood head to the farmer's market pick up some bright pops of color in your flowers and have some fun decorating i would love to know if you are more of a neutral person or if you like a little bit of pop of color and i really want to know if you're like me and you're a maximalist and you like to mix pattern this was a fun day i'm super happy with this haul and i'm already ready to get back out thrifting so i'll see you guys in the next adventure [Music] you
