These CRINGEY Cartoons from Jehovah's Witnesses are awful!

hello to be honest I just did that to make Adele and Lionel Richie fight over which song I was infringing upon their copyright honestly let's just dive on in we are going to be watching some more Caleb and Sophia Jehovah's Witnesses cartoons that really make me uncomfortable I am mr. Ricky yes let's do this just in a singsong kind of mood today oh I survived that blizzard yesterday's video was all about my anxiety and that I deal with chronic anxiety and and sort of hell that was crushing in on me because of this blizzard I I survived it though so everything's good but if you haven't watched yesterday's episode I do recommend it cuz it's kind of meant to be a sort of anxiety awareness kind of thing I think it was interesting enough I don't know maybe it wasn't go watch and tell me in the comments but today we will watch Caleb and Sofia and you will press that subscribe button but most importantly we will watch Caleb and Sophia we're gonna start off with a a pretty mild video from Caleb and Sophia one that doesn't have a message most people would disagree with it's it's about sharing but anyway let me just show you a little bit of this and then we're gonna get to the juicy juicy ones and you get to see how these make me so uncomfortable and how they make me shudder oh and remember that I will have to break these up with stupid voices like I just did to avoid copyright things paintbrushes thank you mommy mommy these are mine okay so basically this is the setup and we are gonna jump ahead a little bit here basically they get their paintbrushes they get their cars and then you have them playing with it and it shows like how much they like it and then and then Sophia in a twist of events since you saw Caleb eyeing her paints Sophia is the one who goes in for the toy that is not hers let's watch by these Jehovah's Witnesses are just a master at drama you are back it's my turn Caleb let me see you come on give it back okay kids looks like we need a lesson on sharing I quite like freezing it right here here take a look this is this has got to be Mima ball go on you mean royalty take care of this for me I just know there's a brilliant caption here when Jehovah created the paradise do you think he kept all of the animals to himself No he shared all his animals oh this is so not scientific breathing the good breathe out the bad even i cute little ones that's right I'm just never comfortable seeing some naked dude holding a bunch of animals you ever see the guy from Jimmy John's I'm not gonna put it on the stream because that would get this video demonetized and there's I mean there's already a high likelihood that's gonna happen anyway YouTube hates me recently dude anyway there's a picture of the Jimmy John's found her completely naked spooning a shark he's just killed it looks a bit like a naked Alex Jones spooning and naked slippery grey Alex Jones anyway the lesson here is you should share jehovah shares everything with us so what do you think you should do okay it's really great everybody that's a super happy ending I mean obviously the reasoning is stupid jehovah shared all of the animals with adam so he could have his naked cuddle puddle with all of the creatures which was literally like all of them which by the way this isn't a great story to be teaching children anyway because some interpretations of that biblical story that was that prior to Eve Adam was actually commanded to go and try and find a partner amongst all the animals as in to try banging them and see which ones gave them a kid oh that's why YouTube D monetizes these I'm just kidding YouTube we're here for the people we're trying to help people stop suppressing my stuff but anyway this is that kind of mild stuff that you might see and you might go oh yeah you know that's not so bad maybe I misjudged maybe I misjudged these Jehovah Witnesses and then you go in and they slowly ease you in and they give you a million pounds of literature to read and distribute and then they basically turn everybody into a missionary for them and that is why the two most annoying door knocks in the world are the Mormons in the Jehovah Witnesses let's go an order I'm going to show you at least pieces of four of these videos today so we have three left I'm gonna go in order of the least grungy two most cringy now we've got should we pay attention in our meetings here's a little bit of that let's have the reading of paragraph 9 consider the historical perspective Christians back in the first century enjoyed foretold that I really feel for these imaginary kids because I I hated church services and I can I can remember being as old as like probably like 14 or so and was still like doodling and drawing during services I had a weird obsession with drawing like guns and knives and stuff was really trying to live out that Mormon masculine dream anyway moving on so kids what did you learn that meeting tonight no sleeping at the meeting and you're playing at the meeting good why should we pay attention at the meetings so here's my thing with these videos as far as like already getting a little bit cringy remember the last video what was the reasoning for sharing imagine if you will if if God hadn't shared heard Jehovah or whatever I hadn't shared the animals like just this really really silly absurd reasoning that kind of calls also to their like literal belief in these things happening their creation myth and I just want to say kids that those were the wrong lessons do just go ahead and sleep and play through the meetings don't listen there is very little of value there and the amount of things there that are actually not good for you way outweigh the stuff that perhaps is the potential to be good for you go find that stuff on the internet anyway okay why do you think you should pay attention here is the reasoning and at the meetings imagines nobody to pay attention when Jehovah explained how to build the ark if Noah had a gameboy I reckon that the technology that that of his time would have reflected such that the people wouldn't have been such naive easily manipulated and and eager to believe lies because you know a gameboy actually takes quite a bit of science to get to and that kind of illogical world which by the way I mean Noah just straight-up didn't exist so I am talking about a hypothetical man remember if you don't pay attention to Church the consequences could be as bad as if Noah hadn't paid attention and then this happened what a fun way to depict the slaughter of all life on earth also game boys don't flow what happened dad you are right he'd be the thing ssin and it saved his life his life apparently but not literally millions billions really of creatures otherwise actually just kind of glad the Bible's not true there's a good question of the day in the comments below which story from the Bible are you most glad is not true and it's okay if it's Noah in the flood but which but which biblical story are you the most glad isn't true anyway this is just a silly and stupid reasoning Beijing at the meetings can help save your life at Genesis 622 we read and Noah did according to yeah that's actually pretty gross that that you are saying your attention to the meeting is a matter of life and death and by the way they do pretty literally believe that you have to be a believer in and one of these people that get heavenly glory and then there was the old thing with 144,000 guys that they've amended somewhat I don't know Telltale's not here you could explain it better than I can yeah they believe the the non-believers that people don't make it they're going to be destroyed with when Jehovah comes down and the angels I think too with this fiery sword and just slaughters everyone you know that loving Jehovah I'm sure he'll cry as he does it this will hurt me more than it hurts you she ever notice that that's never the case it always hurts you more when someone says that anyway cool we're threatening kids with life and death it somehow gets cringe here from their cringe er then dank Christian memes you ask well you'll have to tell me after I review those maybe next week I don't know third cringy Asst and it's kind of hard this one in the last one but this is Caleb and Sophia visit Bethel and this one's mostly cringy because it reminds me so much of something I did as a kid that I realized was a part of my conditioning my cult conditioning my programming again if anybody doesn't know I'm a Mormon it's something I mention all the time and so pretty much everybody knows but this might be your first time on my channel anyway it reminds me of things growing up it's a Mormon thank you remember our trip to Bethel [Music] yeah what keep going okay okay so you can probably already see what what keep going okay I have to learn more about Bethel I'm gonna have to ask I'm gonna have to ask tell tell a lot of questions because this appears to be their cult compound so it kind of reminds me of Mormons have their temples but they seem to be museums and living quarters and and sort of I mean I mean I guess that's a lot like Temple Square honestly in in Salt Lake City but the thing that really bugs what you want to hear more still you don't want me to tell you what really bugs me okay here's some more [Music] okay I'm sure you've had enough now no no I'm just kidding uh I think they're gonna go to save Jehovah oh man okay so this is what this reminds me of into anybody who is a Mormon you will recognize this song I hope they call me on a mission when I have grown a foot or two growing up in the church they glorified these things that they want all members to do as this like great wonderful thing and so for Mormons it was going on a mission apparently for Jehovah's Witnesses it's for going to this this cult compound this Bethel and wasting the talents of animators I might add and it is that kind of musical conditioning those things that get into kids minds and it repeats and it does condition I glorified and romanticize the idea of going on a mission until basically the time to go on a mission was before me and I had had done enough research to know that I didn't really believe I was still kind of hanging on by a thread at that point at the earliest moment I could have gone but that I definitely wasn't gonna give up two years of my life for it and I had also spent a lot of time with missionaries to that point to know that most of them are actually quite miserable and so glorifying these indoctrination centers making kids have these goals to do these things trying to sort of change in a person's mind what the ideal vacation would be like what the ideal way to spend your free time would be like and obviously they showed off that they're like service projects and things happening most religions and even cults have to do that kind of stuff that kind of outreach stuff where they go well everyone thinks we're so terrible but why are we doing these nice things though again oftentimes the those efforts are usually aimed inward toward the church but oftentimes enough their outward as well to be clear their methods of recruiting and this is a way to glorify things and try to change and get ahead of kids values before they're able to form wait I'm sorry what's that you want to hear how this song ends well well I would be a terrible host if I didn't show you to serve Jehovah is the best work that there is I don't know have you tried being an atheist youtuber it's pretty good also just a reminder I can beat up Jehovah alright moving on to actually what is definitely the cringy asjuan we're gonna be able to see less of this one than the others because this one is a longer one but this one is called Jehovah will help you be bold and this one ah sorry for any of my sympathy pukers out there if I just made you gag by gagging myself and it might remind you of the episode I did about Caleb and Sofia where Sofia was really distraught and went to her mom and talked about her friend having to two moms up basically a lesbian couple yeah this one goes a similar direction Oh check this out [Music] [Music] so if you don't know right now that is some of the the Jehovah's Witnesses like many other cults I talked about this a little bit with telltale when we were doing our bite model breakdown of Mormonism which part three and four will actually come out next month so just so you know anyway they create lots and lots of of propaganda and hand out propaganda and books and and thanks for the membership to study and things for people to give away to other people and it is the case not unlike Mormons honestly I felt this poll myself as a very young child that they actually get children to try and recruit other children so now that you know that this might make a little more sense we'll keep going I can sympathize with this by the way there were times when I was younger that I was embarrassed especially when we moved to more hostile areas where we lived in Florida I was told by students and teachers that for being a Mormon I was going to help so I can sympathize with this part a little bit [Music] all right now you know the setup let's just jump forward to Sofia talking to her mom feel so bad for Zoey her grandma died I wanted to tell her about Jehovah but I got scared Sofia I'm glad you have that impulse because I actually think it is so disrespectful when a person dies to try and take that moment of weakness that moment of emotional vulnerability and try and be manipulative and sort of press upon them your views if a person asks me outright what I think happens after their such-and-such died because something happened and they want to know what I think about it I'm not gonna sit there and lie to them however to seek out those moments and to react to that person is sad ooh this is a good moment to go and share my beliefs and how they might not be compatible with what they believe at this point try and use this time to proselytize that is something that I think is extremely gross now go ahead Sophia's mom you're gonna tell her the same thing right like you know she's not in a good state right now your friend so maybe just back off give her space be friendly be friendly if she wants to play play with her but let's not use these vulnerable states to proselytize go on Sophia's mom say that I wish I was more brave Sophia you can be brave oh I see it's not that you weren't actually being properly considerate it's that you weren't being brave enough oh good okay so the next several minutes of this video are is the mom telling Sophia about the story of this thing that she calls the little Israelite girl or the little Hebrew girl it's a story from the Bible I'm actually not 100% clear on which one it's not a story that was like super repeated or important to Mormons but anyway the story goes that she ends up having to be the servant of this guy in a foreign land and that she has to keep her mouth shut and that they're hostile to her beliefs and then one day she is bold and praised for boldness in that Jehovah grants her the bravery and boldness to share her beliefs with her masters and essentially it's this story that she gives her a bunch of drawings of that is meant to be like see and it can work out when you're bold and then she ends the story with this she didn't know what was going to happen after she spoke up but she knew no matter what happened jehovah would be with her and jehovah will be with you too Sophia do you remember what we're doing tonight family worship right maybe tonight we can make up for 10 class room in the kitchen I can be Zoe and Dad and Caleb can be the other kids Jehovah Witnesses normalising absurdity since I don't actually know when they started it was last century I think like the 30s or something I thought I couldn't be brave but I learned from the little Hebrew girl she was just like me in Jehovah helped her be brave don't don't don't do this don't it's such you know we know people know that when people are going through grief like this they become vulnerable and you know what it might work as a tactic for recruitment but it's a dirty tactic and it's a dirty trick that is used by cults and you Jehovah's Witnesses are very adamant that you're not a cult so stop doing the kind of things that cults scam artists people who are trying to sell you solutions for problems that they can't actually solve speaking of I'll also be doing a video on essential oils here soon this is gross because unbeknownst to this child she is learning to be a manipulative scam artist to be a cult recruiter thinking that she's doing it for the glory of Jehovah and Jehovah brings me so much happiness which he doesn't but brings me so much happiness and I just want to share that because someone said so I need to oh and then in this cartoon she also starts sharing it with those other classmates that she felt were judging her by about your grandma this is for you it will help you feel better this is for you it'll make you feel better a promise for someone who has lost a loved one Sophia you kind of suck right now thank you see ya bye here's the thing too it's not as though the Jehovah's Witnesses don't know that that's the case they wouldn't be okay with me having a child the same age as their child ready and waiting for a person to show melancholy and sadness and that child having something prepared to try and change that person's worldview and go after their religious beliefs that would be incompatible with the beliefs of those parents or what about an alternative religion if you're saying that this is okay and that this is fine to happen you're good with a Muslim child approaching your child trying to tell them like what the truth about the afterlife is when they're sad that their grandma died or a Mormon child or a Jewish child or a Hindu child but of course no your cult is prepared for that as you teach the people to put up walls that by the way can be quite hostile and so you're going around with this attitude of like let's just dismiss what the world thinks but tell them what we think no reciprocation and no attempt to try and gather as much information as possible about the world or about your world view to make sure that your world view is valid here's the thing I hear all the time like why do you have this channel where you're criticizing religion why not live and let live and while the Jehovah's Witnesses might be more radical than other religions they aren't uniquely radical in their trying to spread the message religion isn't going to live and let live not for the membership within the church or the people outside of their church as they try to influence political decisions federal and state policy across the globe the Mormons were just doing this in Australia trying to bar gay marriage there just last year but they know they have to be out there active with a counter message first of message to other people and then a counter message to their criticisms because that is going to hold there membership in as best they can bring in new people and also create this sort of position of frankly arrogance of why we are the greatest party in town why we are the best kind of people to be and it helps them to be able to have a narrative where when you question it they can just say things like hey this is my faith you don't get to question it but you all should question it question it like crazy and stop telling children to go and try and recruit other children as though they have the possibility to even understand the concepts you have drilled into them especially for something that is a decision you made for them this is not a decision they made for themselves they do not hold an honest belief
