here are five amazing team comps you can make in unicorn Overlord that are powerful and fun while some teams may take a bit longer to get to their full potential due to item availability being tied to your story progress the core of the teams are Made Simple so you can always enhance them as you go along the first team we're going to talk about is the multi- nuke Alan team this team has a couple of damaging layers to it the first being spamming Trinity Rain and using recast on it so we'll have a support unit cast Hast in action onto Jana who can then instantly at the beginning of the combat round cast Trinity Rain and then have quick impetus hit her as well so that way she'll instantly cast the team wide AOE attack doing tons of damage and then proing her own recast to do it twice unless the enemy team has a lot of blinds or magic reflex most people will just die this is especially true in the story mode the only thing you have to watch out for in expert mode are the Flying Wing It Knights who can have magic reflex and that will destroy you so that's where this build comes in while Elan can be the holder of the quick impetus I would rather have his ppb available so that way he can cover for Jana or Scarlet or whoever is supporting in the backline so our fifth unit is just going to be a support unit who's holding this item and has four PP so it can be pretty much any unit I use elen fencer for the culture but the better more optimal pick is the wear owl or the feather Shield both of these classes sport a lot of active skills that are supportive in nature and with a level 30 Elaine with all of his endgame items that he exclusively has access to Plus plus Jana nuking in the back you're already going to do a lot of damage and there's one more piece for this team of course is the Griffin Knight and they're going to do a majority of the damage to the back row really early as well due to the setup that we're going to be using one of the best things about the griffan knite is that they can attack back row units and they have AOE attacks right off the get-go with high swing as you level up higher you can get aial Smite which does even more damage for the cost of 2 AP and if your gyffin night hits anybody with aial Smite and they still had full health before getting hit they're going to lose one AP which is great cuz now now you're like stripping away attack potentials from units in the backline I've been using the snipers Ambush lens because for the cost of 2 PP it will make it so that your Griffin unit can attack with a true strike that also is a guaranteed crit depending on what you want and how your team is set up and where you're at in the game aial Wing is better that comes from the wyvern Reigns or the heaven wyvern Reigns or even just a sniper lens I do want to note here that true strike does not beat blindness so if you get blind true strike doesn't mean you always hit that unit but anyways with a griffin master or Griffin Knight the nice thing about this is that before you get that recast from the arena or wherever else in the game Yana can be holding the Ice book The Thunder book or the fire book whichever one you want for more Croc control or damage which will then be used by Elaine or the Griffin Master whoever goes first and this is how this team overcomes their particular weakness of a instant charge recast charge attack team if your enemy team has a quick dispel making it so Jana doesn't go first for her instant nuke that's okay because the back Line's going to get double nuked instantly by a griffin Master which is devastating especially if they have true strike and if you go up against a feather shield with magic reflect all you have to do is go into the menus and flip one little switch in tactics to make it so hasten action targets the Griffin Master first and not Jana so that way you can nuke them with physical attacks that might be augmented by Jana if you don't have recast so that problem is null and void another weakness to this comp would have to be quick impetus you need that unit to have 4 PP and guarantee that you have 4 PP so if you're fighting a shaman that can strip you off that PP you might be in trouble or a thief or anything like that luckily for plus we do have an item called The Holy unicorn Signet that you can equip onto the support unit with the skill and this ring will make it so that you're immune to debuffs with this build you can steamroll the whole game arena included except maybe the second Amalia fight which is something that you more so have to survive than out damage and game Elaine is a Godlike unit with so many stat Buffs he'll just outat people usually with his sword the upgraded unicorn ring and then his fourth slot is optional really he doesn't need 4 PP he doesn't need 4 AP either it's just a preference it's very easy to get 4 AP on a lane 4 PP is great on a lane because it makes him more survivable and gives him more team presence but even at 3 PP from his sword he'll be fine because he can generate a lot of pp on his own he kills something with spinning Edge he gets a PP he blocks with Noble guard when he's below 50% Health he gets PP any Shield really works on a lane I like the ones that give him healing whenever he uses an active skill but you can pick whichever one suits your needs the most as for our Griffin Master our second nuke I just load that thing up with a bunch of AP and as much damage as I can get away with this build really comes on online as soon as you get that white cat eared Hood from Divine Shard trading before you even get a charger tank you can just Spam your Griffin Knight or Griffin Master's High swing attack on the backline and have that be the action that you take twice and have it be buffed by the witch or the Sorcerer And as you get later into the game a lane becomes more of an offensive presence or threat and then you get Scarlet who has better cleanses and debuffs and also is a offensive presence for the back line or armored units in the front and then you get the items that can really take your charging attacks to the next level the ones that give you H in action the one that gives you recast the one that gives you debuff immunity so you cannot worry about certain things anyways this build is absurd and it's pretty easy to put together in the mid game and then it grows really well into the late game into this multi- nuke that you see the second team we're going to cover has two cores the first core of the team is centered around Rosalind Rosalind is a very strong and very interesting unit because she comes baked in with two Stellar skills the first one activating at the start of a battle this one does row damage and also inflicts stun on all enemies in that row the second attack is called Elemental Roar Elemental Roar hits every enemy on the field the damage scaling is quite low but can get higher with each fairy summons now the crazier thing about Elemental Roar is that because it's both physical and magical damage it has mixed scaling and it also is unaffected by Magic reflect for whatever reason this skill unlike Trinity rain is not countered by a feather sword and that's insanely valuable to know with that said she is oddly balanced because if you want to use H in action with your Elemental Roar the elemental Roar will not be as strong because you lose ra of the fairies which provides you one summon fairy and also some good CC so you kind of have to pick and choose do you want instant Elemental roar or a beer Elemental Roar for this team particularly we like the beier elemental Roar and if you ever fight a team that does the haste in action instant charge nuke team like the previous team that we just talked about then you better pick a God and prey because you can stun the unit that gets haste but if they're debuff or stun immune then uh you might be so unless you implement some kind of quick dispel on this team whether through an item or through a wear out that you can replace one of the units with with the fully upgraded King slance rosalin does so much damage with elemental Roar it's not even funny and we're going to make that even scarier with a support that's going to be conferring ice to this attack so that way it also freezes and does more magic damage for the team I'm showing I'm using a warlock but you can replace the Warlock with the sorcerer or Elvin fencer whoever can use to frost brand toome it doesn't really matter now if you fight a team that may be magical resistant or resistant to stuns or freeze you might be sweating a little bit uh this might not be effective against them which is where the second core of the team comes into play by adding in Virginia the tank and smack goddess if an enemy tries to attack rosaland Virginia is going to cover for her and then this is where the fun truly begins Virginia is a great Frontline tank with a lot of sustain and also a lot of coverage in terms of being able to attack flyers or armored units and also Counterattack and this is where we're going to augment her the most we want Virginia to get hit she's going to get hit because she's going to have a cover skill from one of her Shields regardless of if an enem is attacking the front or the back line she's going to tank a blow and and this is where our two support units for Virginia comes in the first being a cell sword we already know how strong following slash is whenever an ally gets hit they'll be able to launch an attack that regenerates PP if they land the hit but wait there's more with the combination of Elvin fencer and necromancer's Lantern we have a bit more mixed damage into the fold so Virginia and the cell sword's going to be doing physical damage when they retaliate but the necromancer's lantern provides a skill called bitas that gives us a Counterattack that's range and does magic damage and also inflicts blindness and poison well this is amazing in its own right the Alvin fencer has a lot of disruptive and supportive skills in both the active and their passive skill set so that's why we pick them as the fifth unit and the more PP you have on the Alvin fencer the more capable they are at helping to Counterattack and also cleanse for your team the cell sword slot is a free slot because just by being a cell sword you're already accomplishing your goal of hitting people whenever they hit Virginia because of this though and their Reliance on accuracy I would definitely equip a Clear Sight amulet for blindness immunity or some other blindness immunity item that you can find this will also allow them to cleanse rosaland if she ever gets blind as well so that way her Elemental Roar will always hit this team is pretty simple and really effective everyone either dies from Rosal Lan blowing a kiss at them or they're going to get jumped by people if they so much just lay a hand on Virginia next up we're going to build a team around UniFi you get her about 70% through the game as soon as you get to borus and do some of the story quests there you unlock this amazing unique unit a snow Ranger which essentially is a better Ranger than all the Rangers that you can get so far and they come with an amazing level 30 skill it's a charge skill called glacial rain once Unleashed glacial rain hits three times and inflicts freeze it has a hit rate of 80% but that doesn't matter because UniFi also comes with egole ey making it a true strike if she's not blind and this is where we pair her up with elind rosalind's sister who comes with a beginning of battle skill called Boon of the fairies is essentially what rosalin does but instead of nuking a row of enemies and stunning them you end up healing a row of allies and making them immune to one debuff if you feel like this is not enough then you can always throw on a blindness immunity item onto UniFi and I do recommend that because we're going to be debuffing ourselves soon enough anyways with the next support the next support is an open slot for this video I do have a wear owl for that quick dispel which comes in very very handy versus a bunch of different teams but the main thing you really want is the ability to use the dirty gamblers coin with this coin you can provide a roll of allies 30% extra attack 50% extra crit damage and minus 50 accuracy which doesn't matter because we're going to be true striking anyways with UniFi so you're just getting a bunch more crit damage but just in case this is why we run the we owl we owl has an attack called night vision that provides accuracy to your role of allies so you can use this to basically make dirty gamblers coin non-existent and you might not even need night vision because if the enemy doesn't debuff you beforehand then et alin's Boon of the fairies will still be there to negate the negative accuracy of the coin anyway and because we're getting 50% extra crit damage I just wanted to do something fun so we're going to throw in a sword master in there with the dancer Delight sword dancer's Delight is interesting because it gives you a skill called leaping slash that gives you one AP back if it crits but it also takes away 30% of your crit rate each time you use this attack which is kind of bad but this creates a limited Loop what i' like to do is to set a rule to that way if I have 4 AP I'm going to let it rip with a meteor slash which gives you an innate plus 30% crit rate and hits nine times so even if you go down to 0% crit rate with dancers's delight you'll still have plus 30% crit from this attack itself ideally since we have three AP starting we're going to land a leaping slash get that debuff for crit rate but then also make back our AP and then our charge impetus skill will activate giving us one more AP to four AP and extra 50% crit damage stacked on top of the wide inspiration 50% crit damage so 100 extra crit damage right there and since we're at 4 AP now meteor slash R activates giving us N9 hits at 80% crit rate to our enemies but if for some reason we're going up against a scout on this team with the tactics set Keen Edge is going to activate first hitting that Scout enemy and probably killing them with a true crit hit which would leave us at 2 AP but then charge impetus kicks in we go to 3 AP and we do the leaping slash Loop until we go down to 2 AP so until we miss a crit this sword master can hit so many times before even unleashing a meteor slash if you're fighting a scout you're going to be having this sword unit go kind of crazy baiting all the blindness so that way UniFi when she unleashes her charge attack it's just free reain for her to freeze everybody and probably kill them all now this unit will still struggle against armored units so etolin will probably have to do a lot of heavy lifting against armored units or you can replace the Weare owl with somebody more offensive in Magic ettin just like her sister also has Elemental Roar it just won't do as much damage just because of how we're building her with the items we have but if you did want to just swap over eelin with roselind you can do that your own valtion whatever you would like to do the last unit I have is going to be an armored unit it does not have to be a legionaire it can be a Vanguard as well both of these units are great at taking aggro and then also defending your team the reason I picked legionaire for this example is that this team comp can fight for a while UniFi takes about four turns to do two charge attacks and our sword master like the example can fight multiple times having a unit that can refresh their own PP to cover more is very nice the fourth team is going to be a berengaria team now at first I had this team centered all around her but as I started testing this team more it evolved into being a doom Knight team instead Doom knights in this game are your glass cannons but the nice thing about them is that they do mix damage so they're not just pure physical their attack dark flame is actually super super good because it inflicts burn and it does so much damage against enemies that are debuffed which is convenient because bararia has a Deb buff in eye of the Warrior Princess taking down initiative and attack on the entire enemy team then we're going to pair that up with Alin or any Viking who can do real wide defense shred to enemies which counts as a debuff as well so just makes your dark flame stronger and stronger bararia and the Doom Knight can both regenerate AP by getting hit or by converting HP into AP so they're going to be able to attack multiple times once Baron garia hits level 30 she has vicious torment which will grant her One PP back so that way she can get hit again with painbringer to get one AP to create this this Loop where she'll attack a lot more often Vikings can also join in whenever bangara gets hit with frenzy slash which does a Counterattack that does physical defense shred so yeah you're going to be melting armored like nothing with this team and depending on the enemy you're going up against you can turn off eye of the Warrior Princess to put in warhorn from Vikings which makes it so any attack that you do is unguardable I enjoy pairing up this three axe team with an Elven Archer because they can cleanse debuffs quite well while providing mixed damage and crowd control from the icicle arrows and lastly we're going to add a bit more extra action economy from a lyrical wand Bishop this bishop will not only Grant APS to your attacker but will also act as a second source of debuff cleanse so blindness freeze or stun things like that can be taken care of with this setup a fun thing you can do is provide immunity to one of these stats like stun or freeze to one of your debuff cleansers and then the other ring for the opposite cc to your other debuff cleanser another potential weakness to this team is the lack of true strike in any of your units' kit but luckily for us we have a shield that we can equip onto our Doom Knight this Shield the nameless guards Shield provides us with radiant cover which can block an attack for an ally and provide that Ally with the true strike for the next hit a common thing that Canon will happen is Baron gar will get attacked the Doom Knight will protect her and then Baron garia is now buffed with the true strike death spin that will stun multiple enemies the best part to this build is that there's no AP or PP limit so you can have 2 two on all your units if you want to and as you get further into the game and unlock more AP and PP items this team will only get better this last team is a bit of a meme team but I wanted to recreate Amalia's second fight in the arena where she's just a one woman Army but I wasn't able to do it quite right instead I have a two-woman army now with barones helping out in terms of outputting more damage and also carrying an item that makes this build work you see Amalia can do really good damage by herself but she has no way of regenerating AP or PP so she can't constantly fight with cell swords we all know they have following slash which lets them hit an enemy if an ally gets hit and they generate PP if they land that hits so the elite standard accessory that you can get from the arena provides a skill called united front this skill activates at the beginning of a battle and depending on the difference between your unit count and the enemy's unit count you get a variety of bonus effects for a difference of one you'll get 30 initiatives with a two unit differential you get an extra 50% defense and with a three unit differential you get to negate up to five hits per Ally so if this team goes up against any 5unit formation you're going to get hit at least 10 times for free allowing barones to hit potentially an absurd amount of times without your team taking any damage whatsoever now the thing that they don't tell you about united front is that a debuff or an Affliction somehow counts as taking damage or taking hit as well so this will block you from getting blinded or stunned or Frozen as long as united front activates before the attack comes out so if this is paired up against a rage of the fairies for example and Amalia gets stunned and then barones cast its united front she'll still be stunned the same can be said if you do stun or freeze barones or whoever is holding the elite standard before they act then the united front passive skill will not go off so having stun or freeze immunity can be important here as well I especially like the hail storm Edge as it not only gives you freeze immunity and a decent amount of attack that you can upgrade to to 25 but it also gives you plus 20 accuracy to help you hit those following slashes more often if you don't get the full invulnerability buff of the united front this team loses pretty hard to Magic users so beware the team is incredibly fun and thematic and I really like it but if it was my first 2000 coins spent in the Coliseum I might not pick the elite standard because there's a couple other items that are a bit stronger like the magia's heart and soul for the first build but yeah these are five fun builds that you can build once you get to the later parts of the game you can start building towards them right now but they won't be full powered until the late game but even without their full potential you'll be able to clear rank one of the offline Arena no problem with some of these builds as long as you account for
