These 10 Cozy Games could be HUGE in 2024! 👀

I think these 10 cozy games will be the next big thing in 2024 I think that these games will be popular and talked about and some of the biggest games of the Year this video is not me sharing my most anticipated games although I will say I am biased towards life Sims and more open-ended games this is rather me predicting which games I think will take take off in popularity and hype for the rest of 2024 if they do release this year most of them have release dates except for like a couple at the end that don't have the most definite 2024 release dates I wanted to pick a variety of game types but most of these follow a more open-ended style of gaml format more replayability more longevity to them I think there are a lot of really cool puzzle games but they often don't stay relevant these games are ones that I really think will stay relevant and I do kind of wish I included some more story driven games or puzzle games like unpacking or coffee talk because those games really took off and are definitely popular amongst the Cozy Gaming Community but in this video I'm just picking ones from 2024 and I narrowed it down to 10 so these are my takes let me know yours in the comments and let's get into it we're going to go in order of Rel release date so releasing this month is OVA Maga which is releasing an early access to steam and it later plans to release two Nintendo switch PlayStation 4 and five Xbox One and Xbox series X and s o Maga is a game that I hope will get a lot of hype it might not right away because it's going to be an early access but it is a game that has a mix of a lot of beloved things such as story of season's Vibes with the farming and the art style Pokémon style mechanics with creature collecting and combat but you collect cute blobs and it also includes relationship building and romance with 13 of the NPCs it is a game that is a mix of classic games and from playing some of the demo this game definitely screams nostalgic which I think is really awesome on top of all of that the game also features fishing bug catching and crafting in OA Maga you live in Clover town and much like Pokémon you start off with a blob companion to train blobs are creatures that you collect in the game and they hatch from eggs and grow stronger as you feed them and play with them they come in many types such as Forest storm and magma types there's even cross breeding of the blobs to get different types this game is really a mix of everything and I truly think it will go places especially with this art style and the combination of different beloved games and styles I think it's definitely going to be good and I did get to play a bit of the demo and it was very fun and very engaging the next game that I think will be a huge hit and this game is releasing on August 5th to steam in Early Access and this is fields of mistria I been looking forward to this one for a while it's possibly going to be in early access for about a year so hopefully it will come to consoles later on but I'm not super sure I'm guessing it would though in the description of this game they call it a spiritual successor to the farming Sims of the 9s and that sentence alone makes me very excited for it and I really am hoping that this game will feel fleshed out and full and from playing the demo I I think it does the game has beautiful pastel pixel art adorable animals that you can breed rare variants of strawberry cows yes that was so dramatic unique and stunning NPCs to befriend and romance farming fishing even swimming Sailor Moon inspired magic to help with farming and help with adventuring and there's also combat in the ancient ruins plus there's going to be so so much more that will continue to come especially as Early Access gives a lot of opportunity for feedback from the people who are playing the game and that can all be included and updated which is really cool it's a good thing about Early Access but I don't know I just wish it was fully releasing I think this game is going to be so good and I really hope it sticks and stands out amongst so many farming Sims that have come out it just looks so great the next one is pixel Shire and this game could also do amazingly well and possibly blow up in popularity this year it says it's coming on August 31st 2024 on best buy.com um but on their website it says it's coming in summer of 2024 so I don't know what the true release date is I hope it's coming in August um it's also going to be on Steam PS5 and Nintendo switch pixel Shire is a farming Sim as well but it has some interesting mechanics pixel Shire is a town you get to build and grow this game is a Sandbox RPG which means that you get to be very very creative with how you build the town and with how you play the game the game features terraforming which allows you to shape the land however you like with hills and rivers and I think some amazing towns will be created from this game so I can't wait to see what people make you get to design every part of the Town even with the ability to place the NPC's homes wherever you would like the game also features relationship building and the friends you make can actually help you gather resources and accompany you on adventures which makes the NPCs an even more valuable part of the gameplay so I really like that you can also take care of farm animals and you can cook in the game and possibly tons of other elements that aren't really mentioned on their steam page either way I am so excited to see this game release this game could do really well and there is a lot that you could do with it the next game is Chef RPG and it is planned to release in Early Access on September 12th of 2024 to steam and it is also planned to come to Nintendo switch a few months after fully releasing I think this game has been so highly anticipated because it's a game that is similar to stardy Valley but it is not all farming it's a chef life Sim where you manage restaurants you forage and you hunt for ingredients and you meet the locals and more there are over 240 recipes to collect and 20 characters to bef friend and romance there's a lot that I don't know about this game but I think that having a game that feels like stardew but Strays away from the farming is something that a lot of cozy Gamers have been looking for and I feel like this could be it I really hope that the Early Access is successful for the game and that it feels polished even when it releases in Early Access because to me that's always a good sign I understand Early Access but it's also a little disappointing when a game is not fully released because it means more waiting and I am impatient and I don't want to wait but I'll probably play it in Early Access and then have to like I don't know it's just a whole thing it's a whole thing the next next game will obviously be huge and I think it will fit into the Cozy gaming category this game is the Legend of Zelda echo of wisdom which is coming out September 26th of 2024 to the Nintendo switch you get to play as Zelda and I think that is so refreshing and exciting and I think it could bring in a lot of cozy Gamers who may not really lean into the more open world Zelda games that have come out the art style of this game is also top down 2D and I think that might make this game more approachable it also goes way outside of the scope of just Co Gamers because Zelda is a huge and popular franchise already I am super super excited to try this one out and I cannot wait to play it in Echo of wisdom You'll Play A Zelda using her try rod to create Echoes these Echoes are used to solve puzzles as they imitate elements ments in the environment like being able to use blocks Bridges rocks and other items to navigate allowing the player to creatively explore solve the puzzles and even engage in combat so will you be picking this game up I'm very curious okay I have to admit that this next one is my favorite on the list I don't know if this game will actually blow up but I am just so hoping that it'll do well and it'll stay relevant for a long long time this game is called two pixelia and it is coming in quarter 3 of 2024 and it plans to later release to Nintendo switch PlayStation and Xbox I am hoping to hear an official release date soon I played the demo of this one during Steam nextfest and I did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did T pixelia is the ultimate life Sim the premise of this game is about living out your dream life but you got to work your way there there are so many routes that you can take when playing this game you can buy or rent a property in pixelia and then from there you can choose what you become but you also need to take care of your hygiene you need to get a job and eventually you can work your way up to becoming whatever you've always dreamed of whether it's a musician a professional sports player a supermodel or even the president this game also includes designing cooking driving and tons of lives and careers to choose from it's a pixel life Sim with some Sims like the actual game Sims Vibes it's chaotic and quirky and just fun I cannot wait for the full release I think this game could be exactly what I am looking for and it has so much to do and to experience and it just seems like it has a lot of liability as well which I think is a factor that really makes a cozy game pop off the next cozy game that could take over the Cozy gaming space is Fantasy Life ey the girl who steals time this one is finally coming October 10th of 2024 to Nintendo switch and Fantasy Life first had a game on 3DS which was a niche hit this game allows you to live out whatever life you choose it's lifeim RPG with a storyline you can choose to be a cook Alchemist tayor Carpenter artist blacksmith and so many more you can change your life career at any time as well in this edition of Fantasy Life you travel 1,000 years into the past and discover mysterious objects called strangelings and this seems to be the gist of the game's like main story line a huge element of this game is the crafting as you can craft and build your home and the island however you'd like which definitely reaches out to those people who love Animal Crossing because it has a terraforming ability there's even multiplayer with up to four players Fantasy Life is promising a lot but I trust that they know how to make a fully fleshed out game I think that this game's replayability creativity and decorating elements will muster up the game's current community and also bring in a whole new new community of players who are looking for a fun familiar and new cozy game to play the next game is planned to come in quarter 4 of 2024 and I very interested to learn more about this game because I think it could be huge particularly because the dev of this game apparently worked on the 1.4 and 1.5 updates of stardew valley with concerned ape and a couple of other devs this game is called Sunkissed City and it will first first launch on Steam I could not find any information about this game launching to consoles but I do feel like that is a priority for most game devs it's just hard to get on the Nintendo switch and hopefully with a new Nintendo system coming next year games could be more easily ported to the switch that would be great for now it's coming to steam in this game you will tend to DIY Gardens you'll snap pictures you'll spend time with the quirky locals enjoying fishing foraging hiking and and even exploring the city's monster infested sewers the game promises to have tons of customization options such as designing your own clothing items with tons of colors patterns and materials to choose from and you can of course get to know and romance the city Folk but most of all you will be bringing life back to the city of Apollo this game will also feature a multiplayer mode and I just love that these City like life Sims are popping up I personally cannot wait to play and hear more about this game but I also wouldn't be surprised if it gets pushed back to 2025 either way I think it could be a huge hit when it eventually does release the next game is called super Zoo Story which is listed to release in 2024 and I'm really unsure if this game will release in 2024 because its Kickstarter has not gone live yet and it was also set to release in 2023 but it was clearly delayed and now it's listed as 2024 super Zoo Story is a zoo management RPG and in this game you will construct your zoo Care for Animals and you'll manage keeping both animals and people happy but that's not all you can also build relationships with over 40 different characters you can fall in love and you can start a family the game also features animal collecting as they're over over 70 animal types to have in your zoo and even dinosaurs you can also breed new versions of animals which will bring new color combinations and patterns to the animals super Zoo Story has had some flak in the past for the game's assets looking too similar to stardew valleys which even had concerned ape speaking up on it but they claimed to have right at their wrongs and if so I think this game could do really really well as it is a unique and fun take on two popular genres which is the zoo building games and life Sim RPGs and last but definitely not least I think Caravan sandwich is going to be a huge hit among cozy Gamers this game was recently discussed in the most recent wholesome direct of 2024 and it currently has a vague release date for 2024 on Steam it plans to also eventually come out on Nintendo switch and PS5 I had the chance to play this game's demo and it was so polished and so good Caravan sandwich is an open world narrative driven exploration game the story takes place in a Sci-Fi world where you embark on a journey to find your missing sister along the way you'll help the community solve quests you'll upgrade your Caravan and ultimately you'll get to explore the open world as you search for your sister and uncover the mystery this game has no combat no death no timer and it allows you to just simply play the game I think this game is absolutely breathtaking and I cannot wait to see its success at the full release which will hopefully be sometime this year let me know in the comments below which cozy game you think will take off in popularity
