and hangs up this is the power supply unit we need to take this out to fill up to 3 t9 torque unplug that and this guy lifts up and out like I said this is the quick and easy the best way is to take all this out as long as you have enough pressure this will work screwdriver in so I don't spin blades we want to try to blow through this way best as you can another one whoa I'm gonna tape all this up getting legit screen repair tape soon five minutes later looks like that again alright another ten minutes later we got that out somehow our touchscreen cable is still intact so we're gonna shut it off real quick it seemed as my screen doesn't work anymore or some of it does for screws now this screen comes out this screen is extremely fragile unplug our old screen and we can finally eat that thing now to get all the glue and glass out all cleaned up got our new screen ready need to plug it in and our new home button clean the screen got to remove the new tabs for good measure perfect I don't know why the heck they're paying me to fix this but here we you know I thought the same thing when your hinge breaks just tape it together that'll work I'm gonna start by removing all of the tape this is so bad all right cool time to get this border off and that lifts out four screws to get through the screen with the screws removed we can get the screen up come on plug the webcam unscrew the one hinge that's still connected and and this one yeah okay now that can go since I do have to replace this hinge because it broke and go ahead and close both of the hinges and flip her over 18 screws laid finally such a stupidly assembled left hinge comes out easy enough new hinge goes in palm rest gets snapped back together got that put back together now time for the new LCD cup all the wires back where they belong one screw in other side a screen goes and the bet cleaner and that's one fixed cleanly my phone won't charge she said there's a gap in the phone he said I wonder what's causing that whoa imagine that a fake battery well maybe not fake but it ain't an apple battery and it blew up and that was really in there super well I told the guy about his battery so he brought me his old iPhone 6 with a broken screen so I'm gonna take this battery and put it in that phone hole tabs heart Oh yep just like that broke gonna try this one yep and iPhone 6 for you you're seriously not supposed to heat these up but I had to to get it out fat battery good battery whoever replaced the screen on this phone is a freaking idiot sorry I don't speak Spanish and there we go this is the this guy but I want to see it with my own two eyes you know what that's good enough for me our pipes are warm so it's getting heat out but it's not getting it cooled I got his graphics card up it's a little dusty this is what I'm worried about that screw came out like that okay not that really bad alright I'll check this out oh oh it's bad we got some airflow now oh that was too much alright all that reason that it fluffy rag you know what it's good enough this is one of those cases where spend fifteen bucks and replace that but this guy is cheap so so this guy brought me his computer I know super surprising right he says it's running slow and a lot of people ask me how do I make my computer faster well here is my tune-up evaluation this is quick and it'll tell you just what's slowing down your computer watch me we're starting with timing his boot up that was a 1 minute and 46 second it's definitely slow the first thing you want to do is right-click on empty space and go to task manager not responding so it looks like memory and disk are both in high usage gonna start with a nice program called C clean gonna check our startup item this guy actually has very few but if there are a bunch in there disabled them all while we're doing other stuff we're gonna start a defrag analyzation or analysis huh I'm gonna check hard drive both with crystal disk info this guy's is good but 5400 rpm which is slow 3% fragmentation that will help with our disk use it gonna virus scan with atw cleaner not much so that has a good slow hard v startup a 3% describe mint and the buildup so this old smelly dude just dropped off that desktop says it shuts itself off and won't come back on after one smell I could smell cigarette which pretty much tells me it's gonna be overheating let's find out it's gross hard drive covered CPU fan chock full power supply clogged or your fan is gross now that is gross do not smoke inside don't smoke at all actually all better this guy said he to do like ah she's wet that's the color this stuff may be a part too soon this computer was brought to me because it doesn't turn on at all it's one of those where they're like it doesn't do nothing at all and like it's a cyber power so am I surprised no a lot of the big brand pre-built companies cheapo on certain parts real quick big tip do not screw these in this tight hand tight is more than enough this is scary tight as I was saying things like fans power supply unit motherboards if they can use cheap parts they will so this guy said when he installed his graphics card the thing wouldn't turn on at all anymore nothing nothing it's not a button problem hooked up a test power supply a test power supply also did nothing last I checked that thing worked so we're gonna try a tester remember when I said cheap sans his power supply is fine this looks like probably a board problem gonna test further this is an iPhone 7 plus with a broken screen and if you listen really closely that noise happens when you hit the home button and I want to show you guys what that means so this guy here is your taptic engine that makes all of your buzzy little vibrates even the one that makes it feel like you're pressing your home button and I bet you she's loose she's gonna give it a nice tightening and it's quiet again now to replace this screen okay zip zip zip it Bob yeah there we go and that was a JLo impression okay now to put it back in thank you I fix it for stand off tips so like he came and picked it up way before I could finish the video okay another one I mean I'm not complaining but literally replacing this whole screen because of those cracks that's it at least it'll be easy you got to start with a little bit of heat and a razor blade I just went and bought more razor blades all right so my razor blade got me in but now I'm using my rubber spudger to kind of just peel away at this as I heat it up now to move on to the top top is mostly done now to do this side it was funny so it's so close to having a perfect removal but then that happened and I just kind of gave up on doing it clean but we got it out and the screen still works so that's what counts look at all this stupid glass out and now that I'm literally covered in iPad time to get this screen up neat BAM boom boom replacing the screen on this iPad with my live stream heat up the whole edge plastic razor blades are better but we just need to get in there so you just run this thing this way we're almost there don't break that screen though not the screen is off get this screen out unscrewed unscrewed unscrewed open this up well turn it off first we need to turn it off that's for sure turn off all right now that screens gone now we remove our old broken touchscreen yeah now to get all this gross stuff out that whoever did this before left all done after a really long time I got this bezel put back on this new antenna put it's finally time to do the screen almost about a bang but a boom all right that's an iPad and you guessed it we're replacing the screen but this one's kind of special it's a little different than normal so I got a broken LCD as well so we're gonna replace that this one also has a touch ID button so this will be a little bit easier and a little bit harder once you apply some screen repair boom and it's fixed just that easy haha just kidding you guessed it a little bit heat honestly the screens coming off really easy it makes me think that it's been fixed before like this should not be this easy okay so this is where the danger begins the cabling for the button runs from here up and over all right boom I pulled it off literally get it pulled it off just realize that was hard to see the whole button looks good quick lesson so on iPads you have two different screens one the LCD which hangs out down here and then this is the glass it's also called it digitized and that detects your touch iPads are built like that but iPhones kind of different story iPhone screens are all glued together by a loca and he's you break it before you for anyone that doesn't know my store has existed for like 20 years I've only owned it for about two of those but a lot of the stuff is original like these and when you plug stuff in it kind of it kind of crackles and this lights coming out it's just time for it to go now I wasn't expecting that Oh God that's scary like that there straight up like a hundreds on volts that screw screw screw I don't know who didn't paint behind this god lazy do you have to be alright so I've got a new dilemma the new ones that I bought they're very nice if they don't have little mounts on the back what am I gonna do also cool what missing paint looks about it it's even got a pretty blue light so I was just going take this apart but y'all are gonna suffer with me when I tell you this thing stank is staying that take all these out this thing has been taken apart before if I could describe the smell to you mail time this thing's been open but it's usually easier to go from the bottom and this thing won't turn on and here's our power supply so I'm gonna test that first if I could describe this smell to you it's fish fishy and stinky can't make that up really hoping I have this power supply oh my god I just freaked the out bro what the thought that um no nope nope okay so I put put it in two bags the first ones zippy thing broke I think it's a power supply problem this is how I'm scoring it this thing is literally making my whole store smell like cigarette he's lucky I'm a clean freak don't smoke next to your computer I know it don't look dirty but it's slippery and smelly oh it still stinks I don't know how people live in this now this isn't that bad much better gosh sober look all of that just came from the cable it's good enough I need to wash my hands as an acer laptop that won't turn on its really old but the guy still wants to fix it he says it comes on and says some words but doesn't go anywhere else imagine that the words are the brand name and I bet you if this doesn't move it's gonna be a memory problem let's wait a minute Oh nope I was wrong and impatient we're gonna pull out his hard drive because that either means operating system bad or hard drive bad ooh yeah screw screw screw yeah there's our hard drive looks like a pole Oh so this drive is locking up my
