The Yellowfin 54' Behemoth!

[Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] we have a special treat for you today we have the incredible 54 flagship from yellowfin boats we have joe caballero doing us the honors here today and giving us a few minutes to jump on this behemoth take it offshore out of haulover and show you guys all the details so sit back enjoy like and subscribe if you enjoy this content [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] so we're going to start directly at the power plant here we got quad mercury racing 450rs those propelled this monster surprisingly up to 63 miles an hour quite impressive for quad outboards on this boat it's got a 15 foot beam 35 000 pounds loaded up with fuel so very impressive we're going to work our way here obviously this boat is rigged up for fishing just about everything family fun you can do it all on this boat but they have a massive live well this is actually a single well about 90 gallons that connects with two openings you got your aquarium opening here up front so you can check your baits while you're driving the boat which is always a nice feature and always keeps the kids entertained when you got that baby filled plenty of rod holders you got tuna tubes which i am sure is an option both port and starboard and a nice transom space if you wanted to get in and out of the boat from that area obviously you have your side door we'll get to in a minute but one thing they did that was very nice was add storage here some plano boxes gloves pliers so when you're fishing this is where you're at most of the time you got these on both sides as well so very convenient when you're back in this area you can see right next to you eric here they put some gaff holders underneath the gunnels plenty of real estate to work with obviously on this 54-footer you can stick rod rods in there if you'd like as well nice little option jl audio speakers you're going to find them all throughout this boat as we see on pretty much most of the boats we jump on so always nice to see these guys we're going to pop in here and show you underneath the hood you can see the bilge area i'll jump in just to give you reference of size now they have access to all their pumps you got your seat chest back there get to all your valves with ease and then they close them up so you can see what's going on but they're closed so you can use all this space for storage as well so very nicely done job by yellowfin nice finish underneath here and another excellent storage space as you can see they have a bucket with their deep droplets right underneath you eric so just like that you have plenty of space to throw anything you need in this area and it serves dual purposes close this up you can see this area right here when you talk about a fish box and this is a this is a fish box it is huge you can easily fit multiple people in there it's got to step up here with the bucket insert so you can put a cast net or you know anything you want to store in a bucket easy to grab there and eric is going to go ahead and tuck his way in i'm going to pop up and there he is how is it down there comfortable pretty cool not bad so here if i if you let me grow up grab this you can see here it's just lounging so if you want to take a nap throw a pillow down there some sheets not a bad spot they put this decking material underneath which works as dual purposes as well insulation and also it's your gasket to seal this box from water flowing inward you got your drains there as well with flow water overboard not into your build which is very nice see they got the side door up in this area pretty impressive hinge system here i'm not going to see do i open this thing all right we gotta we gotta push it there we go whoa slide it back all right first time i do that um pretty interesting very unique and fancy on top of it so you got your side door to get in and out and we'll get over to this last little entertainment space which they added if you remember hole number one from our video there they didn't have some of these items here they added a griddle so cook yourself a steak some lobster tails grab a beer in the refrigerator right here sit back in lounge watch your kite baits watch your blinds as you're trolling got your sink this area gem lux dual purpose rod holder cup holder shower head right here you get out rinse off and then lastly trash conveniently placed right here normally boats lately have been adding these which is a great feature before you would get a bag throw it in your live well and it'd be a mess so that little feature as small as and insignificant as it may look is absolutely huge back here so follow me up to the midsection of the boat here you can see they have plenty of storage throughout and we're going to touch on several points as we go through here this is set up for plano boxes set up your lures conveniently placed right here and we'll walk through the second row of the dual row seating very comfortable radius bench and now this is elevated from the standard deck height right down there you can see something cool added here kind of a radius door this is an access to your generator and you got storage space on either side and under here you got your steering pumps and a bunch more storage as well so as you can see you got tons of room here i can sit here put my legs out and i'm not i'm not huge by any means but look at that i got a foot and a half of space before i hit those beautiful release marine chairs up front i actually have great visibility from back here since it's slightly elevated and this is likely one of the more comfortable spots in the house right here tucked behind the protection of the windshield you got the captain doing his thing up there with potentially three other individuals and as we walk out this way we'll show you a bit more storage that they have so these are three individual drawers another trash compartment joe was just mentioning the trash compartment back in the cockpit area they might swap that out for a freezer might be a good idea since they have a trash bin over here and also another one on the starboard side so we're gonna actually poke our way over here to the helm area we got joe doing his thing joe i don't know if you want to mention a couple of the details you have or what you have on here but we see the triple 24 inch garment screens you got a seat keeper we see there autopilot your vessel view up top fusion head unit to complement the jl audio speakers and as you can see everything else is extremely clean which is which is something we always appreciate what is it what is it you like running the boat a little bit tell us a little bit about your experience so far all around it's been a great boat uh put about 80 hours on it so far and it's ram great and rough weather you know calm weather everything yeah it's really nice yeah you got a seat keeper on here it seems with that 15 foot beam you really don't need it much we haven't used it though i haven't used it yet well it's nice to have and again love the clean uh dash display here easy visibility of the of the triple 24s um really nice what else do we have here we got ac vents conveniently placed battery switches battery switch key switch under there vhf all right you got jail audio speakers here as well um gem lux outrigger bases as you can see underneath here this is kind of like a matte almost like a whisper gray powder coating they did on here which looks really nice and then oversized windshield as you can see under here if you take a quick look you can see this opens up here they have all their dock lines conveniently placed there two more drawers also for whatever you need to store right there off the helm i guess they do some scuba diving you have storage for your tanks and you have this port you have it starboard as well so really nice to get your tanks out of the way when you're running over um you know to the spot to do some diving continue on we'll get into the cabin here in a second but we got some more storage space as they say you can never have enough storage and they have all this on both sides duplicated so very well done on that aspect and pretty much everything we've seen so far here on the yellow fin 54. working our way into the cabin area one of the things they did is actually enlarged this door which is still not huge but much better than we saw on hole number one so we're gonna work our way down here they did an excellent job adding the teak accents you know the wood finishes this is obviously a dining room table that lays down and you can use this as another birth private head and shower and right here you got your galley sink stove top refrigerator hey a coffee maker always need that and then you got your master berth right here which you can see the amount of headroom you have and they actually lowered this forward lounger on this hole number two compared to hole number one but you can still see how much room you have here it's definitely more than what you need and uh definitely plentiful for a 54 center console you got some small closet space here as well and one small detail which is not so small here towards the steering area you got your mechanical room down here and i'll show you this walk in with me you have your gyro right there all your batteries look at how clean and organized this is and a great space to be able to do any work you need and all tucked away right here underneath this aft bench seat down in the cabin so the access here is a a bit tight not gonna lie to you but once you get in there you're good to go and this table can be taken out of the way completely if you're gonna be doing some serious work down there moving forward to the bow area and you can see a boat like this 54 feet you really have three zones of entertainment you have your cockpit space aft you have your helm area with the dual world seating and then you have the bow which we'll come show you here so compared to hole number one they actually lowered this lounger seat quite a bit you can see you can sit three people here extremely comfortable excellent lounge space and in a boat this size you can sit up here in just about any sea and really be comfortable women family kids anybody that'd probably be a spot i'd hang out with quite a bit you have your forward bench seats poured in starboard rear backrest you have coolers on both sides here this sunbed actually lifts up on actuators which uh you can see turns into a dining area here if you lift it up all the way get that cushion out of the way and you can go and grab some lunch we won't raise it out of the way you have storage underneath both of these as well which add on to that and then we have an extremely large box here towards the bow for additional storage you have our friends bali hoop right there great to see so you can fit just about anything you run anywhere you want they took a heck of a trip and you have so much storage space in here you really don't have to leave anything on the deck which is incredibly impressive um obviously it's a big boat 54 feet 15 wide you can add a lot of things in here but yellowfin did a good job of utilizing pretty much every square inch of this boat adding space as you can see underneath the gunnels there they have additional space you can put your flip-flops in there they got some cleaning materials up there and actually one last thing i want to show you here is the windlass check out this system they have here that barrel system basically eliminates any sort of twists and turns that you can get with a traditional system that sits up on your uh cap if you guys have messed with these before you know that system sometimes can get twisted and turns this one right here goes right into that barrel into that roll really eliminates all that and should work for you close to 100 of the time so really nice obviously it's a big feature for a big boat but definitely appreciate it and something if you've messed with enough anchors you would appreciate it as well so now we're going to talk about the hard top this thing is absolutely massive it's got to be 22 24 feet just to take a guess at it it's got a rigid light bar up there you got all kinds of leds a 96 mile uh garmin open array radar speakers mounted underneath and we're actually going to walk up to check out the second station and peep the view from there so if you guys want to come on up with me so as you can see besides the seating area you got a ton of space right here rod holders tucked away back here we didn't even see before and access to here so you can actually spot fish and even pass along rods from this area if you wanted to you got your gem lux believe grand slam carbon fiber riggers and then we're going to go ahead and sneak in eric let me know if you need me to grab something we don't want you falling anywhere all right so you can see the amount of space you have here is pretty crazy not something you're used to seeing on any center console you got your gemluxe bellico wheel up here as well to complement the one underneath your garment system your uh you basically have everything you need up here to be able to travel uh just as just about the same as you would downstairs so great visibility obviously from a second station like this you can see well beyond i saw i see a weed line right here that we didn't see from below we didn't bring any uh fishing gear with us unfortunately but there's a guy on it already and as you can see this seating area you can basically there's quite the separation from the seating area to the uh the steering wheel so you really are gonna be driving up there without leaning on anything so that's something different we don't see often but you could sit two three four people back here and take a pretty comfortable ride in a quite the scenic view all covered by another hard top here again with the kind of whisper gray satin finish on the piping beautifully done and a really nice stable platform here on the second station of this 54 yellowfin a nice additional feature is this bench right ahead of the captain here on the second station so as long as they don't turn on the 96 mile garmin open array radar you're good and i can tell you this is a very nice spot to hang out here on this 54 yellow fin we're going to start running get those
