Thanks for posting, first time/tour I saw The Who
Didnโt appreciate it at the time but itโs amazing how rogerโs voice held up over the years. Even now to see him pull off Reign Oโer Me at his age is amazing. He is still so strong here in 89, not much lost from the 70โs. Matter of fact I thought the 82 tour he was phenomenal.
I didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I did. Usually when I hear something from the 1989 tour I skip it for something else, but this performance was great. Simon Philips wasn't too over-the-top, Pete on electric meant no cheezy Steve Bolton solos, and the brass was much more subtle than other songs on that tour.
