foreign ly I wanted to do a video discussing some of my favorite artists that aren't too well known in their history right and that's still in the plan that's still in the works but first I think we should discuss who we should be talking about as far as the underground right see here's the thing right in my humble opinion this video was poorly made I'm over here thinking oh you know this is gonna get like a little 200 views 300 views it did not do that I'm sorry I apologize but you want to know why it was poorly made how could I explain the entire underground rap scene you know I I thought that to myself it just doesn't make sense because like I said in that video but for now I'm gonna try and explain this new underground scene the one that's kind of ran by tick tock you know I I said it but I still got those stupid comments but I still got those comments from certain people you know they were pretty they were pretty stupid why you not covered lucky he's the epitome of the underground guess what I'll be doing that this video so I hope you get your I hope you get what you desire what do you call the people who are underground From The Underground what for that second comment I want you to comment down below how you would respond to that I genuinely don't know what he means by that that question makes no sense bro explained one corner of the most mainstream underground I said I was you see what I mean like people are people blow my like bro y'all don't understand like people are so stupid like it's it's crazy it's crazy and I'm sorry if I'm going in you feel me well we're gonna get to the main the main course of this video in a little bit but let me let me talk my let me let me say what I gotta say okay the guy who made this video is the definition of a gatekeeper and someone who thinks they are superior because of some music they like I ain't gonna like he kind of write underground means independent so the ant boys are still underground I wanted and New Orleans stop staring at the shadows and sing me a lullaby my sweet Temptation or some of their best work so their music is nowhere near a five out of ten I have my opinion he has his so I'm sorry for even throwing that one in there you get my point though like a part two may happen to that video in the future where I'll I'll explain everything a lot more in depth but for right now this video is going to educate you way more than a tiny little 20 minute video possibly could okay honestly I hope this video is more than 20 minutes I don't know we'll see so we're going to be doing an iceberg okay and if you're new to the internet and iceberg is basically there's tears to it okay you're gonna have your tears you know at the top it's going to be pretty much most people you'll know okay second probably most people will still know but the deeper down you go the more lesser known they're going to be okay the more dark weird it's going to get okay so that's that's what an iceberg is that's what I'm going to be doing for underground rappers you're going to recognize probably everyone in the first year so I don't want to hear anything about well well those guys aren't underground yes I know shut up okay I'm gonna be putting a link in the description to this video to the iceberg so you can kind of follow along with me I'll still show pictures of the iceberg as I go through it familiarize yourself with it because we're gonna be here for a while okay this is the first Iceberg I've ever made so you know don't don't hit me too hard because it might have been some random Rinky Dink SoundCloud purple hair rapper that I just completely forgot about okay at the end of the day there's so many underground artists that I just couldn't slap all into this one little meme format okay you'll notice some names are together that really shouldn't be together but they're in the same tier like for example I have Raider Clan and RCB in the same tier trust me I'll get into why that makes sense don't be on my dick talking about those guys don't make similar music at all everybody knows Raider Clan who was there you know you know what I mean like don't don't do that okay like don't do that I've also split these artists and collectors up by you know regular you can play this around anybody music kind of um down to like scaring the hoes music okay so that's how the tears are going to work it's just is going to get weirder and weirder and also a little bit more less known the further down we go also these tiers are going to split off in a different video so if you're not already subscribed please do that that would mean the world to me now we're gonna go look at the ultimate underground rapper iceberg I guess [Music] so good starting out with my favorite in the top tier bones bones is one of the most versatile artists of Our Generation that we will probably ever know bones is one of the forefathers of the early days of SoundCloud underground rap dating all the way back to 2010 like Holy Hill you could say this for a lot of artists but without bones I personally feel like genre bending wouldn't be so normal in the underground rap world he has songs where he's screaming [Applause] [Music] and singing [Music] boom bap rapping you name it he's done it he's still going to this day and his fan base is otherworldly cult-like so if you haven't heard his music you should really check it out he's got something for everyone I would personally stamp that bones is one of the most important artists to ever grace SoundCloud that sounds like serious glazing but I'm like dead ass serious I love them we already went over this so let's just get it over with suicide boys is a Duo from New Orleans Louisiana and they took over the underground with their horrorcore type songs and there's so much more to them than that they helped a lot of people out with their music and now they may not be so underground but they're still great artists I need to say this too it's not that I'm saying these guys are trash now they've definitely polished their sound and I kind of feel like that's the vibe I put I want to smoke about them in the previous video but I didn't mean to put it that way I'm just not a huge fan of their newer music and there's a lot of people that would actually agree with me but that's just my opinion I feel like people forget that also they bit the hell out of Three Six Mafia and there was actually a whole issue they had with Juicy J but anyways honestly I love that they're in a better headspace I love these guys so much and I love what they did for me in my opinion little peeps single-handedly revived emo rap for the whole generation he made it okay to be like sad or whatever his impact is actually legendary like little p just a rapper per se he's like really just an artist of course he raps but he just has so many songs where he does more than that and I'm not going to lie I'm not the biggest fan of his music but I do like songs like awful things giving girls cocaine your favorite dress sadly he did pass away if you were living under a rock and didn't know but overall rest in peace to him we will never have anyone like him ever again Denzel Curry is an artist from Florida who has actually been in this game a pretty long time like I think he started rapping back in 2011 and that's insane he was also a member of raider Clan which we'll get into more of later and to be honest the first song I heard from him was Ultimate which is still one of his biggest songs to this day and was used in a lot of memes especially back in the vine days but that was a really long time ago and since then he's progressed like insanely for sure in 2016 he was on the double XL cover for the freshman class and he went first in one of the pretty much the best Cipher of all time in history this is a side note but I actually met him like four years ago like at this Miami show and he's genuinely one of the nicest artists I've ever met which is rare because a lot of these artists are [ __ ] foreign so with the hundreds of documentaries everyone has done on this man I'd be surprised if you didn't already know everything about him but for those of you whose resonance is Patrick's house I'll give you a short summary just say on Freud known as xxxtentacion was an artist from Lauderhill Florida who genuinely changed the whole underground scene in the best way possible I'm not going to focus on anything negative he was known for because honestly I don't care this is where I separate the music from the artist even knowing what I know happened he still tried to make amends towards the end of his life which is honestly in my opinion what matters his music is honestly Indescribable combining elements like metal trap r b um honestly I hate the term trap metal it's such a cringe term uh so whatever he even has boom bap type songs proving to be one of the most versatile artists our generation will probably ever see he started this Collective known as members only which consisted of ski rob banks tank head 666 bass Santana uh so many amazing talented artists to me the scene of the Underground when he was around will just never be replicated like you just have to be there especially when he was in jail everyone had free x on their Instagram or their Twitter including me to this day I still have them added on PlayStation and I would never remove him because it's like a slight flex but overall rest in peace I miss him literally like all the time he changed so many lives and got me personally through so many hard times with just music alone uh rest in peace come on you know I had to put him in here because at one point this man was definitely underground Jordan Carter aka Playboy party is an artist from Atlanta Georgia who and I mean I genuinely mean this change the entire scene like I think he honestly changed the entire music scene if you really want to think about it he started rapping under the name sir Cartier all the way back in 2011 and you can even tell off of those songs he was meant for this because even though songs are truly like good and they're ahead of their time the way he changed the whole scene was by implementing a style in his music which was extremely unorthodox at the time but it was the baby voice also he just has this laziness about his delivery he makes the best out of it even hearing it in a song like lean for real that song is life-changing like it literally made me want to do every drug in my grandma's cabinet he's mostly known globally now for the whole vampire dark aesthetic that literally everyone decided to run into the ground and there's so much I can get into about how people say without Uno the activist we wouldn't have cardio which is true to an extent but I wouldn't necessarily agree with it overall he's a great artist and a lot of people don't like his music and I understand but like me I love him and he's just in his own lane I mean I could get into the whole awful record side of things but this is just a nice burger not a documentary we got to keep it pushing nyloville is an amazing artist from Ottawa Canada and my God there's so much I want to talk about when it comes to him but it's a nice bird so I'll make this quick Lavelle is pretty much known for his extremely dark beats and his dark delivery like his voice is sexy what I'm sorry but yeah I've been listening to Night level since the Cod trickshotting Community ran his song dark light into the ground all the way back in 2014. he made beats under the name killinov and Chris Travis actually stole one of his Beats and used it for his son Memphis to LA and you can tell even in that beat that he was bringing a new sound into the Forefront of the underground he has four albums in total and they're all amazing my personal favorite is red Teenage Melody but his best sonically to me personally is concept vague it has 15 songs in total and literally none of them are skips at all I mean people seriously don't give this man enough credit also I'm pretty sure my favorite song of all time by him only has like a million plays on Soundcloud which is like insane this man needs way more flowers while he's here I love him so much foreign underground shouldn't even be in the same sentence at this point but he did start on soundclouds oh let's keep going I don't even really know how to explain this too well because juice World literally changed the entire world he was loved by so many people and most of his songs have millions of plays because of how big he was he's kind of like peep in a sense the whole emo type sad rap that's not all he made and most people would associate him with the sad Bart meme like a 12 year old being sad about his girlfriend he met at the playground breaking up with them two days later but Jokes Aside he really has some really really good songs also in my opinion I think he's the best freestyler of all time like did us he went on Tim Westwood TV and literally freestyle for an hour over a bunch of sick beats like an hour unfortunately he did pass away in 2019 and I don't even want to get into the whole Ali Lottie stuff going on well he severely missed and we won't have anyone like him ever again rest in peace C Master Slim God is one of those artists where yes he was underground at one point and now he's mainstream but I still don't really hear enough about him and what he did with his style he's an extremely talented artist and his flows are insane like to this day there's not too much I could say about him other than the fact that he's such a distinctive artist like yes we can't ignore that he was the other half of X they were like the dynamic duo but they actually had a mini beef because he just kind of wanted to separate himself from X because you know he just wanted to stand on his own tin and I think to this day he does I remember seeing them to hug at rolling loud and it was so beautiful to see because they had a few issues at that time and in that moment they made up and you could tell they really loved each other overall he's an amazing artist and I'm honestly a bigger fan of his older songs like pull up gone Betty rocker most of the artists on this tier he's just very versatile so shouts out to him he's amazing okay so don't get mad at me I'm not the biggest fan of Xavier but I do know his worth trust me I've been there since he was known as ethyl wolf he was a member of raider Clan and after they disbanded he started to work with bones Eddie Baker and Chris Travis and a collective known as seshollow water boys whereas the hollow part comes from Xavier's little Collective known as Hollow Squad Xavier wolf is from Memphis Tennessee and he also has that dark vibe to him where as most of his delivery is just kind of flat in my opinion but he has songs where he's a little bit more aggressive I don't know I'm just not a big fan but he's good at what he does moving on all right this is where you completely lose me because puya is just so uh the first time I heard puya was back in 2014 when the get bug video was getting pushed by YouTube recommendations shout out to him because he's from Florida and he does have some pretty good verses like a thousand rounds and pretty much every song on South Side suicide but there's just too much negativity surrounding his name if you kind of look into it and since I'm not a big fan of the music we're just moving on [Music] now we're moving on to tier two where these are definitely household names but they're not as super mainstream as the previously mentioned names now Uno the activist is slept on like still he should be way more known like it's genuinely not even right how many people don't really know about this man he's an artist from Atlanta Georgia who started rapping because he felt like he had no choice you can tell with this music growing up in Atlanta inspired a lot of his sound and a lot of people don't know that he actually started out chopping and screwing other artists music as far back as the ninth grade believe it or not he's actually a lot more lyrical Than People realize a lot of people kind of associate him in the Mumble rap SoundCloud you know movement but he just sticks to what he does he's been in the game since 2012 actually and more people need to listen to him my favorite song by him is definitely popular buddy or his remix of Autumn's song portrayal uh he's got him so doo-wop Kane has been known by real underground people as one of the most massive Inspirations for most artists but the craziest part is that he's so young there's actually a video of him rapping on YouTube and I think it's called like Elmo came in with that AK-47 or something and that's literally do I can I mean that's crazy I think the main reason that he's still underground is because he's gone and said multiple times that he doesn't even care about music that much his flows can be heard in pretty much any artist's discography that he had already did years prior his project underground is insane and pretty much super slept on I mean doo-wop King his name speaks for itself if you want to know more just go listen to Underdog and you'll understand why he's really just the goat so it's a little hard to understand Tracy's impact on their underground because there's so many variables you'd have to consider you could say he really didn't do much because he was a part of that emo pop rap scene like juice peep trippy but I would argue that because of his massive discography technically dating all the way back to 1999 being on his mom's intro track to her album Coco [Music] this is Coco yeah it's my mom's like stage name she was a singer and I love my mom so I just got that yes that's little Tracy and his mom is Coco from SWV he also literally inspired peep before people's rapping so do with that information what you will Tracy also popularized the whole Hello Kitty's Samsung kawaii-esque aesthetic era into the underground which by now is pretty outdated but it was just an area you had to be there for he's been around for a minute and his stance in the underground is stamped in my opinion his old music is way ahead of its time again go to Dardis we already went over this right go watch this video since I mistakenly talked about him for way too long moving on on the other hand of Summers we can't forget about Autumn who I definitely did not talk about in that last video at all Autumn is right next to Summers when it comes to the Forefront of plugin B his song Nina was very popular on Soundcloud for a while but then Tick Tock got a hold of it and it went crazy to the point where I actually started to dislike the song because I kept hearing it I actually remember Autumn and comethazine had this your beef because comethazine said he was biting him [Music] which is so crazy because Autumn is a million times better than the comethazine suck my dick that's how I'm coming I don't care what you say I'm gonna skip over the BK relationship because uh yeah but they did make a really good song Together Autumn's still going pretty strong to this day reading out his Reddit a lot of people say he's falling off which I do not agree with at all I think that's stupid I mean he's only been around for less than five years he still has a lot of time to do a lot of work so shout out to him all right here he is whoa I know you guys were so ready to hear about this [ __ ] here you go and I know y'all gonna crucify me for this but I don't even really listen to Lucky like that I know kill me like whatever it's not that I hate this music I just don't listen to it too much more of his newer music but the freeway VP that's hard lucky is an artist from Chicago and he started rapping at the age of 16. he dropped alternative trap in 2013 which brought a bunch of eyes on him he's actually a little tied in with Chance the Rapper Believe It or Not which is super crazy to think about going crazy [ __ ] together like chances that the chance a great godly Christian man back in the day he went he went wild or nothing but he was that [ __ ] really so he was a he says that when he first started rapping Chief Keef and Chance the Rapper were his biggest Inspirations and you can pretty much hear it in his earlier work a lot of people say his appeal is that a lot of people can relate to him which is cool people say it's the vibe or the music or whatever but I don't know I just don't understand it I guess I'm just not cool enough the young lean is an artist from Sweden who I've been listening to since 2013 and that's so crazy because this man's influence has spread across so many different aspects he's considered the face of cloud rap which is a sub-genre mostly associated with lazy like Heavenly type beats with lazy type vocals Kyoto hurt Hoover there's so much I could cover unfortunately I had to leave out he also started this group called sad boys they actually did a wonderful documentary on him that shows his rise on the dark side of everything that he had did up to that point which you can check out his song Jean sang strip 2002 that song was amazing in high school like I remember watching the music video and I was just so amazed like it was so different from what I was hearing back then and I felt like it was just way ahead of its time um and he's a great artist people don't really bring him up as much as they should but he's definitely a Godfather like of SoundCloud for sure bringing a blade makes my room stink like bad blade started making music in 2011 under the name Ken Burns and even all the way back then he was collaborating with Echo 2K he then started working with young lean in 2013 on his album unknown death 2002. some people like to quote him as the face of Piper pop which is so stupid to say but he definitely has some hyper pop type songs but that's it um but I wouldn't really put him in that category I think he's just a lot more better than that I'm not the biggest fan of him so I don't really have any songs to recommend so we're just moving on completely flipping the script to someone who's actually good we have scar-lord scar-lord is actually from the UK and he's an artist who was actually in a band named myth City before they disbanded from them and began working on his own career the song that played many many eyes on him was definitely a heart attack which blew up and in my personal opinion I think it went viral because of the flow on the song it's insane but he also had this crazy death core element that's mixed in with some crazy ass bars this music is definitely not for everyone I say that because most of his songs he's screaming until his lungs probably tell him to chill out as someone who grew up playing Tony Hawk's Underground 2 I listened to a lot of rap and metal and I think scar-lord is the best artist that mixes both of those genres like perfectly and overall he's a good artist he has a pretty good fan base and he's still going strong to this damn so shouts out to him destroy lonely is a member of opium and in my opinion besides cardi I think he's the most versatile in opium he has some songs that I I don't know they just take me to a different place he's definitely a part of the whole vampires on the nighttime barely post anything on Instagram doesn't follow anyone backwave but watching his interviews can kind of tell he's a cool humble down to earth guy and guess where he's from Atlanta duh he just makes a lot of very good like songs to get high to honestly that's so pretty so but I'm just excited to see what else he has on the vault what can I say I mean Ken is great but if you guys can tell me in the comments what you like about him I'd love to hear it other than the fact that he makes turn music and he seems to be like fun to be around or whatever Ken Carson hailing from Atlanta Georgia oh my God that never gets old it's actually a pretty good artist nonetheless I honestly in my opinion he just doesn't really bring anything that news to the table but he's still fun to listen to either way his first album Teen X genuinely surprised people by like I think he's just one of those artists where if he wants to be good then he will be but lately he just really hasn't switched his sound up and I think that's why a lot of people are kind of getting turned off by him and I think that's why people listen to it lonely a little bit more because he just has he has a more diverse range when it comes to music so I don't know he's still good don't get me wrong he just needs to shake it up a little bit honestly the most I can say about this dude is that he's one of those artists who had a lot going for them and did way too much negative stuff and just kind of messed it up for himself from scamming artists which this video would explain that pretty well hey whatever happened to your dig whatever and tons of other stuff overall he just kind of seems like a dick and I mean besides four teaspoon and lonely I don't really I don't really like too many songs by him he's just not that impressive I literally never understood why he got so much love I mean he's straight but he's not like that good in my opinion Midwest is an artist from Indiana who is known for being in that hyper pop digicore type scene but I don't know I just think it's crazy to put him in those categories alone because he just does weigh more than that uh he's got a few songs I like a lot and I'm excited to see what else he's got for us BK the ruler is actually a female artist from Atlanta Georgia oh my God that never gets old I would honestly say she's one of the most versatile female underground artists I've been listening to BK since left or right had the original beat attached to it and she's an amazing artist who's shown she can really put herself in any sound like she has a song for every type of mood and I think she's in my top five female artists of all time her songs have gone viral on Tick Tock and she's one of those artists I feel like she isn't where she's supposed to be yet but she's on her way there for sure she's amazing I love Chris Travis so much Chris Travis from Memphis Tennessee is definitely way too slept on but this is the iceberg so I won't get into too much his name should say enough though he was a member of such a low water boys and with his Memphis type accent and like sound mixed with the dark Ambience of like the types of BT's been on from like bones and stuff like that he's just a huge Pioneer and his name does not get brought up enough he's made a song for every type of mood you can think of so please go check him out he's amazing and he's an OG for sure he's been in this [ __ ] since like 2009 call and take an underground rapper is so tricky but to be honest you bring him up to NPCs they're gonna know him so I wouldn't even necessarily call him an underground rapper but you know it is what it is Tamor McIntyre began rapping at the age of 13 dropping literal bangers like Biff zannon and Sly Cooper if you go listen to those songs you'll understand why he was getting so much recognition immediately the beat and vocal delivery was just ahead of his time and I think the appeal about TK was he was so young and he was just so hard pause after he dropped his biggest and probably one of the biggest songs of 2016 in the race while literally doing the Race he was arrested months later unfortunately after a couple of uh events that happened the song honestly got way bigger because of the media coverage on him and unfortunately he was found guilty and tried as an adult of robbery and capital murders so unfortunately we will probably never get new music from them unless he records from a jail phone cemetery is one of the craziest artists that I listen to like for sure playing his stuff around people with have them looking at you very weird Cemetery combines witch house metal and drill all into one sound he's from Northern California but honestly there's just not too much I could find about him as from what I've gathered I think he just wants his personal life to be kind of just left private most I can say about him is his sound is so distinct you'll hear it and instantly know it's him he's garnered almost 150 000 followers at the time of me recording this and he's only been making music for about three years which is crazy he says his biggest inspiration is Chief Keef so deal with that information what you will he's got it though rob banks is again a very slept on versatile artist hailing from South Florida and has been in the scene for almost 13 years dating all the way back to being a member of the disbanded Raider Clan when he dropped his first mixtape calendars he had eyes on him instantly because of his very distinct voice and versatility with songs like fine is produced by one of my favorite producers of all time claims Casino he was also a member of members only in which we all know how that went put you on one song how many songs do we have together it has no bro it's not just how many songs we got all in all he's an amazing artist and I really wish more people would listen to him so he can get the recognition he truly deserves Wi-Fi's funeral is a rapper that's actually from New York but moves to Florida when he was just eight years old a lot of people think he's from Florida because of his heavy association with so many Florida artists as his collaborated with smoke perp X and Denzel Curry and rob banks he started rapping at the age of just 13 and he's been chilling in the game ever since with his name becoming prominent after his black heart Revenge album dropped he actually started as a music duo with DJ scheme but after they separated he just kept the name he was on the double XL freshman class for 2018 and since then he hasn't dropped too much as he just puts a lot of work and time into his projects overall he's a great artist and I'm excited to see more for him okay I was gonna keep my opinion out of this one but oh my God I literally can't GBC is one of the worst collectives of underground history because most of these guys have allegations against them or they're just straight up [ __ ] we have young goth who was an absolute weirdo cold heart with very boring music Wicca face Springs Eternal which in my opinion the music is just overrated it's not that good I mean I don't even want to talk about the rest of these guys they're all weird little people little Tracy magnet Horsehead all those guys whatever who cares and that's the end of the first two tiers of the iceberg and I'll see you in the next one [Music] foreign [Music]
