thank you narwhal for sponsoring today's video [Music] you'll join the peripherals on this oh they're sick and the custom pc honestly chef's kiss sheriff's kiss i mean damn you did take my gpu so i mean there's that rgp now sorry our gpu i got it good night man oh and what don't waste your time playing video games like you're not gonna be part of facetime hundreds thieves is not gonna sign you so go home [Music] secure charlie [Music] [Music] what are you doing i just forgot my keys but seriously go home but i was killing it [Music] this here is our ultimate minimal gaming setup a project we decided to tackle ourselves to create a bit of a minimalistic environment to play games and stream all powered by this meshlicious itx build we've personally felt like having a separate environment the game was worth it we kept this one clutter free with only the essentials to maximize your gaming experience oh and on top of that it cleans itself thanks to today's sponsor narwhal if you've watched my ultrawide video you guys know that gaming and streaming on an ultrawide is not convenient which is why i brought dual monitors to this setup i am planning to make a ultra wide versus dual monitors videos so if it's something that interests you just leave a hashtag compare in the comment section down below regardless this completely changed the way i game not only i am able to have a discord chat on the left along streamlabs but also a whole separate environment from the main monitor this just easily allows me to play games at full resolution on full screen setting up the left monitor in portrait mode was a great idea so like that whenever i'm live it's super easy to have the chat on this as for the monitors themselves they are from dell i wanted to make sure they delivered g-sync by default getting rid of unmatched frames and stutters is super worth it because once your eyes adapt to catching those there's just no way of unseeing them these s2721 dgf essentially use the same panel as the lg 27 gl 850 which is a qhd nano ips 1 millisecond display so yes we get that sweet nano technology here and on top of that a maximum refresh rate of 165 hertz they do have great aesthetics i love the matte glossy grey paint the plastic has and interestingly enough next to this grille an led strip it's essential to know that if you want to experience 165 hertz with these monitors you need to make sure you use a display port else the hdmi caps at 144 hertz since these have no built-in speakers we didn't need to add an audio interface this does sit below the monitors thanks to this triple monitor arm setup it's nothing too crazy although it was a bit expensive and it's probably because of the gas spring arms i don't recommend anything other than making sure you offer these type of mounts they technically can handle a good amount of weight and moving the monitors around is super easy once you tweak the spring to the right force setting however always make sure that the stand can handle your monitor's weight and size sometimes heavy monitors can cause these joints to get weak and with time they start to slowly tilt downwards mine were luckily good enough after tightening them a fair bit these did make my cable management a lot easier thanks to these compartments and the fun thing is that this model provides a usb port and some input jacks not that i need those jacks because our audio is handled by this audient evo 4 interface well recommended by a fellow youtuber optimum tech and yes it is awesome my goal here was to have a proper audio setup where i could bring my shure sm7b and my audio technica's m50x together with two xlr inputs with preamps next to some stereo speaker outputs a headphone amp with proper input a smart game function and mic monitoring i found this to be perfect for gamers who truly value their audio having full control over my audio peripherals is a lot funner when it's handled by one device it does look super nice on the desk mainly because it's matte black color and honestly this plastic feels exactly the way i imagined it sometimes when my voice is too loud it's easy for me to change my audio levels with one click as well as changing my in-game audio without having to alt tab out of the game to adjust game volume this does have a cool little mixer feature that allows you to hear voice in-game for reference so rotating the dial all the way to the left will let you hear your voice and all the way to the right only your gameplay i never found myself using the smart gain on my channel to make it easy for me to set proper voice levels since the shirt doesn't peak at all the preamp noise is actually perfect even when maxing out my gains although because the max gain on this little guy here is about 40 dbfs when using my shure mic i need to pair it up with a cloud lifter which also avoids introducing additional noise or hiss very popular mic in fact michael jackson used the sm7 for most of his vocals which made me buy it no but in all seriousness like any other content creator out there we enjoy the baseness and punch this adds to our voices it's also great at avoiding room echo and rejects noise quite well it was the mic i heavily used for my voiceovers back when i had the studio in my bedroom with poorly insulated walls this definitely came in handy when avoiding outside noise i didn't want to have it sitting on a blue compass arm instead but for 40 dollars i honestly just recommend getting this road arm it does the job and tweaking the springs is super easy i also recently started using proper audio headphones and that's mainly due to the fact that i'm starting to develop a bit of an ear for sound i picked up some ath m50x not long ago and these surprisingly do well in game the x literally just means that the cable can be removed but these are incredibly comfortable for me and know that i wear glasses which means the padding isn't too tight around my ears so after extensive use i don't find myself hurting or needing to take a break it's a full plastic build that is able to fold well for storage purposes although i recently got this headphone holder from lamikal so no need for that sound wise chef's kiss i'm not an audiophile but i can definitely say that the bass and mids are great but the vocals lack a tiny bit overall though they are super clear which makes it extremely awesome for in-game movements like footsteps doors opening and gun handling which are things i do with the help of the logitech g-pro wireless mouse and the logitech g-pro wired keyboard yes it's league of legends theme but to be honest i got this theme because of the color i have been shopping around for my sis recently and right now i am on this huge debate on whether or not i should rock the g903 or the g pro honestly though between us i think i have been enjoying the g pro fairly more on top of that i did get a proper mouse pad for it yes don't worry i wasn't thinking about gaming on this large groovement wool mat at 80 grams with great battery life wireless with no wire drag flicking and turning quickly when sniping has been easier it is a bit bulkier on the palm compared to the viper but i find it a lot more comfortable so claw grip and palm grip will feel natural just like the fact that if you are lefty well no need to worry since it is an ambidextrous design switches honestly are great although i do wish i wasn't lazy to solder and upgrade them to something like the klh gm switches on the other hand we have this dkl logitech g pro keyboard it is wired with a micro usb port which i don't mind specifically when i know i can easily connect it to my monitor desk mount arms it delivers rgb has a subtle 4 degrees in terms of elevation and has romer g switches they do feel different compared to cherry switches delivering a total travel distance of 1.5 millimeters with only 45 grams of force to actuate it's not really a fully mechanical keyboard but it does the job for gaming i found my experience to be nothing really unusual even when comparing this to my gatorade yellow switches with gm key keycaps in front of my peripherals i did install this small brake camera holder if you are a streamer and you find yourself wanting to use a dslr or mirrorless camera well this might be of interest to you i usually like streaming with a proper camera instead of a webcam but like always this technically means more money in fact to be able to do so i had to get this elgato cam link 4k the a7s mark 3 does make it easy for me to use a simple hdmi cord but if you are rocking something like the a7 3 you will need to buy a mini hdmi converter as a whole setting this stuff up is so simple and streamlabs recognized it right away as long as you download their camera hub software of course all of this connects to a meshlicious itx build sadly for this video to be possible i had to steal jan's rtx 3080 and it surprisingly fits here so well i then need to take into account the size of our power supply to be around 140 millimeters so wouldn't interfere with our aio both of these are indeed from corsair but to be exact we got the cx-650f power supply and h100x aio because the case has no glass panels in terms of the aesthetics inside i didn't care much it is a bit of a mess but i'm glad that the pins of this asus strix b550i gaming motherboard are properly placed for tight spaces and like with most mini itx builds well i had no choice but to rock a couple of ram sticks yielding a total of 16 gigabytes of ram all of this is powered by a ryzen 5600x which i luckily bought on sale along with this little 500 gigabytes nvme stick from wd which gives us enough room to install warzone cold war and a few other games yielding honestly great boot times for games and the os itself oliver tech sits on this beautiful walnut ergon office desk proudly designed locally in montreal the durability on this tabletop is way superior than ikea's countertops the stains on this comes off easily and if you leave watermarks on it it doesn't seem to ever damage the wood the walnut is absolutely beautiful and i'm not quite sure if it was stained you can see how they used real wood instead of a laminated material which does make the table alone quite heavy this sits on some dual motorized legs that can be lifted all the way to 48.7 inches and surprisingly all the way down to 22.7 inches even though our gaming setup is pretty minimal it can carry up to 300 pounds all of it is controlled with this touchscreen controller i have to give it to them they do sell add-ons like for example a cable management tray with a power bar to make cable routing easier even the cable net is there to hide all the mess down there and of course i decided to get their desk drawer to store some accessories including my narwhal cleaning tools with all the boxes we bring in on the daily basis things around our setups get super dirty and so i decided to go with the red dot award winning robot mop and vacuum with the station of course which is really cool vacuuming with narwhal is awesome especially since it has great suction power the way they did their side brushes was smart since roller brushes tend to increase hair entanglement it cleans around super well and you can clearly see the difference when removing the dustbin it does have a mopping feature that i am super happy with i was sort of fed up using our mop to get rid of snow prints it's all done by quickly interchanging the brushes with these two rounded triangle mops rotating three times per second with 10 newtons of pressure for deep cleaning clever enough these mops are removable and narwhal included some extra ones in case yours are being cleaned oh but don't worry the station takes care of cleaning them the robot can auto detect the mob's dirtiness which then returns to the station to self-clean and resume where it left off the station is equipped with a clean waste water tank of 5 liters so you can fully cover a space up to 3 000 square feet although my office is around 500 square feet which was super easy and quick to map out thanks to its lighter and laser mapping algorithm i do like using their app for certain things like setting no-go zones in case we are working on a specific project but i appreciate the fact that with one click on the narwhal station you can vacuum mop build a map and return home although it's nice using app features to adjust vacuuming suction levels and mopping moisture levels i do wish i had a proper gaming chair from herrmann miller but honestly i can't seem to let go of my ergo chair too i was recently rocking a mesh dx racer chair which i also much enjoyed but i just honestly love how tight you feel on this and how comfortable the mesh back rest is it's not the perfect gaming chair for gamers but it does allow me to sit for long periods of time i never found myself having to meet the game standing up with this chair but like i've said in the past i think having a bit more cushion on the seat rest would make this great it was originally about 400 when i first got it but because of the demand it seemed like autonomous have increased their prices luckily you can always get one and if you don't like it you can return it i'm pretty happy with the way everything turned in fact my favorite feature is the audio setup i got going here everything works super well and it is incredibly well oriented towards gamers a minimal gaming setup isn't necessary but honestly i don't see why it can't be a thing do please let me know if you want that ultra wide vs dual monitor video i am thinking of getting some high-end monitors to compensate for the price difference as always i'll see you all next week honestly i have to find a better way of signing out peace [Music]
