hello guys and welcome in this video i'm gonna be showing you how to steal and raise wyvern eggs as well as tips when tackling these wyverns i'm also going to be showing you tips for fighting them trapping them knocking them out and as much as i can in between i want to try and get as much information in this video as i can whilst keeping it as short as possible so let's get right into it there's three main weapons i'm going to be talking about in this video poison lightning and fire i'm also going to touch briefly on ice wire events there have a few spawns up in murder snow i have the nest locations on the screen now there will be no wire vans in that area but once you steal an egg a wire will come after you now each of these wire bands have their strengths and weaknesses and it means you may have to acquire different techniques when approaching them so let's begin with poison wide vans personally i would say these are the ones you have to worry about the least as you can see in that video they're very inaccurate once they're flying when you're fighting these guys as long as you're moving they pose no real threat if i had to have any wives around while i was stealing eggs these would be the ones i would choose however as well as being the one to worry about the lease they're also the wyvern that can get you into the most trouble unsuspectingly this is because unlike the other wyverns they can damage you whilst you're on your mount now fortunately in this instance i brought a spare team with me to get back there quick viewers on an online server right now chances are whatever you was riding will be dead the lightning wyvern personally for me unless you're on something strong with lots of health the lightning wave and is the most dangerous of the three they're very strong their special attack which is a lightning bolt can hit you from quite far away and they're also very accurate with them now astronomers are a similar speed to lightning-wide vents if you get close enough to one of these guys chances are you're gonna die unless of course you have a very high level trying to do but as you can see here these guys did a lot of damage really quick the fire wyvern these cars can be equally as dangerous as the lightning wide vanes of caught in the wrong situation they don't have a lot of range but if they hit you with their fire it will cause a burning effect on you that will carry on burning for five seconds a low level tame with not a lot of health could easily get killed by one of these guys so it's best to keep the distance as much as you can so in conclusion for the wild wildlands the poison is the least accurate that can kill you off your team lightning is a strong rounder and can do a lot of dps to you and the fire has the least range but can do a lot of damage with his burn attack so we know what to look out for now i want to talk a little bit about the four dinos i use whilst grabbing wi-fi next i'm gonna do this in the order that i think is the worst to use to the best so number one and the bare minimum the pteranodon now when you're stealing wives and eggs i see is you have three main options the first and most common is to run the second is to fight and the third is to trap as the triangle can't exactly fight or y burn that gives you the option to either run or trap it before you choose to use a giant onto steel eggs i recommend you have at least 1 000 stamina and keep in mind that the egg has a weight of 50 so you need to be sure that your trend on is not too weighed down to outrun the river chances are you run out of stamina before you lose the wire by just flying away so you'll have to make it aggro on something else you can do this by flying close to the ground over passive dinos if you have enough distance on the wyvern it will aggro on the ground dyno a benefit of the trianodon is very agile so if this wire then is catching up with you you can duck from side to side as it uses its special attack to avoid it the wire will take a long time to turn around so doing a 180 can gain you a lot of ground when you first get to the wyvern trench this place could be fill up with y vans so you may need to do this individually to each vibrant to allow yourself to enough room to get your trend on in there to steal an egg once you've cleared a space around you and you can get into an egg make sure you land your trend on and look around you before you jump off and steal it as soon as you take the egg everything around you is going to become aggressive so get back on your bird and get out of there as quick as possible the fire wyvern now obviously you're not going to have one of these guys to start with because that's why we're making this video but once you've used your training on to get your first egg and you've raised yourself far away then this job's going to be a little bit easier so the reason i say a firework over any other wyvern is that when you're on a firewire then another firewire run can't set you on fire which makes a wildfire why then practically useless all the time you're sat on yours a lightning will still hit you hard and a poison can still kill you off the top but it means a third of the wire vans are pretty much useless so while you're on your firewire then and you come across another one you can just land on the ground and every time he flies over you just keep on biting it the reason i rate these guys over trinidad is that they're stronger and they have a lot more health meaning you've got more room for error it's not just going to die the second or lightning wire then hits it unfortunately there's a couple of reasons why i can't rate the fire wide and higher on this list and the main one being is that they're not agile at all they have a huge turning circle and if you're in the air trying to fight other wire vans you're gonna really struggle to kill them but also when you're stealing eggs you need to be quick you need to get down land turn your bird around and get ready to fly off trying to turn these guys around in the little tiny caves it's like trying to back an airplane into a parking space the griffin to be honest i would pretty much rate these guys a joint top spot they're not huge so if you build your trap right you can use the griffin to trap away then they're extremely strong when diving as well as more agile than a wyvern making them great fighters and they're extremely fast making it easy to run once you stole your egg their only real issue is that to be fast they need to be diving so you need to be careful when you're climbing out of caves and climbing up as at this point the wavelengths can catch up with you they don't have quite as much health as a wyvern but they still have plenty to get you around so as long as you're not stupid you should be able to kill one of them with no issues whilst diving round and fighting wyverns it's very easy to forget your stamina and if you don't keep an eye on it these guys stamina will drain pretty quick so make sure you don't get caught out mid-flight as if you get caught high in the air with no stamina you can guarantee you're gonna die and finally the managama these guys are great all-rounders they're very strong they can freeze the wire then giving you a chance to kill them or get away if you're just planning on stealing eggs and running then this is definitely the diner you need their ability to jump up and boost forward makes them ridiculously quick against the water then of course they do have their downfalls they're not actually flyers so they do need to land this can be very difficult or sometimes even impossible inside the wirebone trenches that means that using these guys takes a little bit of forward planning the stamina on a managama will also drain extremely quickly so you have to constantly keep an eye on it and make sure you're not running out just note that if you're playing on xbox and not pc managers can be really buggy and can really make your game freeze obviously you don't want your game freezing while you're in the middle of stealing y van x there are so many different traps you can use for wyverns and nowadays there's a lot more efficient ones that cost a lot less materials i just like using big traps like this and online servers they're less likely to get blown up there's so many different trap designs you can watch on youtube but really as long as it's big enough to get away then in and got somewhere to lock him in then you'll be completely fine now as i mentioned earlier you can use these traps to get the wavelength stuck in as a chance to get away but the main use for this traps is so that you can knock the wire vents out a baby wipe then we'll need wyvern milk to raise it and to get wire than milk you either need to kill an alpha y event or you need to knock out a normal wyvern now trapping a wire vendor is a much easier job if you have a tribe member to help you out if not use your trained on to lead the wyvern into the trap exit through one of the side panels go around and close the gate as you can see here i wasn't quite quick enough on my own so the y haven't escaped so if that happens you need to open the gate and give it a second try obviously if you have a charge member as one of you are leading the wire in the other one can close the gate making it easy to trap them you've got the wire vent trap you can begin to drank it so you can knock it out and grab its milk with a 100 crossbow it's going to take you around about 30 train carriers to knock out when raising your wife and it's impossible for me to say how much milk you'll need wire vents don't actually use a lot of milk if your settings are all standard but you will need to make sure you've got milk as spare for their imprints these are the settings i have on my server and each wire only took about four to five mil to raise they did use a lot for imprint so but i have my imprint in set for very common and not doing a lot of percentage imprint per imprint when hatching yvonne eggs you need a lot of heat if you haven't yet got air conditioners you're gonna need 15 campfires to hatch a wyvern egg if you have air conditioners you need about 10 for a while then egg drop your egg in front of your heat source and have a look at it if it's warm enough the egg will say incubating and give you a timer until it hatches if you haven't yet got enough heat it will stay too cold and you'll either need to add another fire or another air conditioner your waving milk will obviously last longer on your tan dyno than it will in your inventory unfortunately you can't put water and milk in a fridge but you can put it in a preserving bin and that's how it will last the longest once your wire van hatches imprint on it when a wire then hatches his food bar will already be semi-full if you're on an official server you won't need to feed it for the first few hours the server i'm playing on is boosted and the wyverns drank milk approximately every 20 minutes it's important to make sure you've got room for these guys as they're going to grow very big if you're on a pvp server it's better to hatch them inside because people just love killing baby wyverns although it's very rare on white vans you can also hatch more than one from one egg when raising your wire vent it's important to do your imprints on him a wive can ask for three different types of imprints the first one is to ask to go for a walk i always set the follow distance to lowest it makes them easier for them to follow you simply start walking in one direction and let it follow you it won't take too long and it will gain an imprint the second is to be hand fed wyvern milk you can do this by dragging the woven milk to the last slot of your hot bar and then pressing e on the y van and then finally the easiest imprint is just ask for a cuddle just pressing on the y van usually it won't be as manic as this if you're on an official server you only have to feed them every few hours and even longer for each imprint i just have my imprint set to this common for the purpose of showing you the inference
